Bakugo stopped mid-rant, wondering what heck Deku was saying now.

"Don't get me wrong, I am more than aware that we are the farthest thing from friends," The green-haired analyst pointed out.

"You made that abundantly clear." He raised a hand to the screen, which sowed Bakugo blasting Deku to the ground for all to see once more.

The audience cried out in horror at the sight, which struck Bakugo in the core of his pride as he recoiled from the torturing image.

Deku relished in his bully's agony and decided to twist the knife a little more.

"But I can only guess that once I was out of the picture, who went looking for someone else to put down and help inflate your ego."

Katsuki grit his teeth in suppressed rage. He didn't know how much more of this could take.

"Let me guess...the hardheaded redhead?" Deku presumed.

Kirishima winced at the accusation, regretfully aware of how scathing Bakugo had been to him in all his attempts at friendship.

"Or the ice-wielder, maybe?"

Shoto hadn't moved from his spot since the start of the fight.

Bakugo and he had been competing to be the top of the class since school started, and the exploding boy wasn't the least bit afraid to let Todoroki know what he thought of him.

"No, not them...you don't like it when your victims fight back..." Deku shook his head at his own accusation.

"Since I've known you for so long, much to my regret, I know that you prefer someone more...soft-hearted. Someone with an abundance of insecurities for you to exploit. Someone who wants to be a hero...but doesn't deserve to be one. At least in your humble opinion."

Ochako knew exactly who he was talking about. Bakugo had been out for her blood since day one, hurting her as much as he could.

And it was all because she didn't seem like hero material in his eyes? Is that why he hurt Usagi...or Izuku...all this time?

What the heck was wrong with him?!

"But that's just it, Kaachan!" Deku raised his hands with a shrug as he continued his lecture.

"Stop calling me that!" Bakugo yelled weakly across the ring.

"You think anyone would want to work with you with the way you look down on them?" Deku argued back, refusing to let the mad bomber have any say over him.

Bakugo felt the stared of everyone in the stadium narrowed on him.

"You think anyone will let you be a hero, after seeing who you really are?!"

The video continued to play, filling Katsuki's ears with his younger self's cruel laughter, and Izuku's sobbing.

"I may have never had a chance at being a hero without a quirk, Kaachan..." Deku spat the nickname like it was poison on his tongue.

"But you...you never deserved the chance to be one in the first place, no matter how flashy or powerful yours is."

Bakugo's whole body was twitching, his contorted in barely restrained rage.

"You'll never be a hero, Kaachan...Never."

And that was all Katsuki could take.

"SHUT UP YOU WORTHLESS, QUIRKLESS DEKU! YOU SHOULD HAVE JUMPED OFF A ROOF LIKE I TOLD YOU TO!"

The screech of feedback filled his ears as Katsuki Bakugo's rage-fueled words echoed the entire arena.

Bakugo froze, his sweat feeling like ice against his skin.

He looked out over the crowd, who were once again caught in a state of utter shock and horror.

His cruel words echoed faintly across the stadium, letting him know that what he just said was heard by everyone.

Everyone.

The heroes around the barrier had stopped completely, completely aghast to the blonde's harsh words.

Inko had stopped mid-step down the stairs when she heard the horrible things the mad bomber shouted, the blonde's mother shocked in place right behind her.

Bakugo looked as if his very sense of being had been obliterated. He found himself breathing heavily to try and calm himself.

It wasn't working. He heard his heavy breaths over the speakers and looked down to his collar.

His eye widened when he saw what was there.

A small earpiece clipped to his tracksuit.

With a shaky hand, he plucked the device from his clothes, raising it to eye level to get a better look at it.

The explosion boy stared at the tiny communication device as if it was responsible for ruining everything he was hoping to be.

Everything he dreaming of being.

But he knew it wasn't the gizmo's fault. He turned back to the one who placed it on him in the first place.

The one who ruined his life in only a matter of minutes.

Deku had removed his facemask once more, his sinister grin back on his face.

Bakugo began to shake. His eyes turned bloodshot. Drips of sweat poured down his face.

But he couldn't move.

Deku took a step forward.

Bakugo found himself taking a step back.

The young villain continued to approach him slowly, enjoying the fear on his enemy's face.

The pale bomber backed away as his old victim approached him. "G-Get away..."

Deku didn't listen, taking another step closer. "What's the matter, Kaachan? You look a little defused."

Bakugo had felt this feeling before. It was when he was captured by the Sludge Villain last year, as the monster tried to suffocate him from the inside.

He could only watch as the heroes tried and failed to save him, and he felt something he thought he'd never feel in his entire life.

Fear.

But no slimy villain was trying to kill him from the inside.

It was someone who he deemed as less than a threat. Someone who he thought could never become anything in his eyes.

Someone who insulted the notion of becoming a hero with his very existence.

A small, timed, weak little nobody, who only use was to be a stepping stone on his way to greatness.

He was afraid of Izuku.

He was afraid of Deku.

"GET AWAY!"

Bakugo thrust out his right hand, summoning the biggest blast he could conjure...

Only for a puff of smoke to poof out of his palm.

Bakugo stared at his pitiful attempt to attack the Quirkless villain.

He looked toward Deku, who had a smug grin that would put any of the bomb boy's own to shame on his face.

It was at that moment that it hit him. From the start of the fight, the playing of the video, all the way up to how Deku was mopping the floor with him, Bakugo had been sweating up a storm.

He had been pushed to his limit, to the point where he was more exhausted than he could ever remember being.

But he had also sweat out all of his explosive sweat.

The bomb boy didn't want to admit it. He would rather blow his own head off than admit that...that was out of ammo...out of power...that he was now practicallyQuir...Quirkle...!

Before Bakugo could finish that horrifying thought, Deku grabbed his outstretched hand and brought it down...right onto his knee.

CRACK

"AAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH!"

Bakugo wailed in pain as he clutched his broken arm.

The crowd watched in horror as the proud exploder fell to his knees, his cries echoing across the arena without the help of a secret microphone on his collar.

The heroes were stuck in place, seeming to have given up on trying to break through, as they watched the blonde suffer before them.

Deku watched as Bakugo wailed and screamed, his eyes cold and emotionless.

He could see the linger of tears trying to break through his tightly shut eyes, holding them back as much as he could.

The Quirkless boy took a moment to ponder about how their roles were now reversed.

With him standing above Bakugo, and the mad bomber reduced to a helpless, broken mess.

...But it wasn't enough.

Deku then swung his left leg out, striking it against Bakugo's still working left arm in the elbow, breaking it on impact. "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

The audience recoiled from the painful display.

Inko sparked herself back into sprinting down the stairs.

Bakugo fell to the ground, hot burning tears now falling freely down his face. "AAAARGH! NAAAARRRRRGGH!"

Deku watched the pitiful display of Katsuki trying to crawl away from him, all sense of pride and self-righteousness completely gone.

...But it still wasn't enough.

He kicked Bakugo in the ribs, causing the boy to roll onto his back and cry out to the sky. "AAHHUUGGGHH!"

Deku then got down and sat above Bakugo's chest, disregarding his Taser-Knuckles for the moment.

He took off his gloves and threw them to the side, clenching his bare fists tight.

Bakugo looked up at Izuku through his wet eyes, afraid to even wonder what he was about to do next.

He got the answer when Deku raised his fist.

"...Wai-"

His plea was interrupted by a fist to his face...and another...and another...

And another...

And another...

And another...!

And another...!

And another!

And another!

And another!

And another!

AND ANOTHER!

AND ANOTHER!

Deku pounded away at Bakugo's face like a jackhammer, intent on burying the explosion boy's face into the ground.

His hands became raw and bloody.

His knuckles scratched and bled, mixing with Bakugo's own as his face began to cake with crimson.
