Chapter-3

"Yawnnnn~ why are you this sleepy in the morning?" Akira asked Kaminari.

They were currently on a bus to Shinjuku. Sazu signed both of them up for a trip of sorts to look inside the U.A. and learn more about their facilities. Of course he did it without asking their consent. 

"I don't know about you, but I don't wake up at six during my vacation."

"That's just called being lazy."

"Not exactly, I prefer the term 'sleep lover'." 

"Even that won't love you back."

Kaminari stared at Akira blankly, "Really man?"

"Sorry."

"Do you mean it?"

"Nah."

"Hahahaha!" Suddenly both of them looked to their back, to see the girl who laughed.

It was a green haired girl with sharp pointed teeth, she was wearing a green top and back pants. Next to her another girl was sitting, unlike the other girl, this girl didn't laugh out loud but still laughed quietly.

"Oh, sorry about that. You guys are really funny." The green haired girl said after finishing her laugh, "I'm Setsuna Tokage by the way, feel free to call me Setsuna!" The girl smiled, revealing her sharp teeths.

The black haired girl also stopped laughing and answered, "I'm Yui Kodai. Feel free to call me whatever you want."

"I'm Akira Kento. Nice to meet you." Akira introduced himself while Kaminari looked like he was having a 'rom-com mc moment' when he looked at Yui.

"And he's Denki Kaminari." Seeing that his friend was a lost cause, Akira introduced him too.

"Feel free to call me Akira." Akira said to them.

"You can feel free to call me whenever you want, Miss Yui." He started flirting.

'Really?'x2 both Setsuna and Akira thought the same. But were even more shocked when they saw Yui blushing slightly.

"So Akira, are you guys planning on enrolling in the U.A. academy too?" Setsuna decided to leave the other two alone and asked Akira.

"Yeah. We live around here, so we don't have any other cheap choice."

"I get you. It;s the same for me. I don't wanna live in a hostel either!" Setsuna said she didn't like doing any household work, so hostel life was a nightmare for her.

"Well that's not my problem exactly, I live alone either way."

"Ohh…" Setsuna lost her initial energy a bit, but asked anyway, "If you're ok with it, can I ask why?"

"Yeah, I don't mind at all." Akira shrugged his shoulders, he was in fact happy to spread how much of an incompetent mother and father he has around the world. "My parents got divorced a year after I was born, and both of them didn't want to take care of me."

"...I'm sorry.." Setsuna didn't know how to reply to that.

"Don't be. I'm happy this way, it's way better than living with either of them."

"Hey guys we arrived! That;s UA" Someone in the front shouted, making all of them look towards their right, where UA was. It was easily the largest building they've ever seen in their life.

"Woah"

"Damn"

"Will I see Midnight today?"

"Someone's more down bad than you Kaminari" Akira commented to him which made Setsuna and Yui chuckle and Kaminari blush. He pulled Akira closer to him and whispered.

"Look Akira, my man, my bro, my best friend. I beg you, please don't look cool in front of Yui, I agree that you are better than me so please just leave this girl to me man. I beg you." Kaminari immediately begged.

"Don't worry, I'm not interested in her." Akira said and patted on Kaminari's shoulder, "Good luck bro." He stared at Yui who was looking at the UA with an amazed expression. He agrees that the girl was very cute and probably one of the most beautiful he's seen in a while. He didn't find her to be attractive, but he knew very well that many boys his age would jump at the chance to ask her out. 

"You'll definitely need it."

Soon the bus entered the UA through the front gate and stopped. Slowly the guid stepped out and called out to all the students.

"Fuck this place is huge." Akira commented while looking around.

"No joke it is." Setsuna was also amazed.

"Just how much did this place cost?" Yui asked.

"Probably billions." Kaminari answered.

*Clap* *Clap* Suddenly all of the students looked at the source of the claps. It was a tall brown man with long spiked up blonde hair. He was wearing brown shades and a huge speaker on his neck.

"I'm Hizashi Yamada, a former hero and now a teacher here at UA. You may know me from my hero name, Present Mic!"

"It's him!"

"Present mic! Big fan!"

"Can.."

Some of the students immediately recognised him and went to ask for an autograph or a picture.

"Do you know him?" Setsuna whispered to Akira.

"I have no idea. What about you Kaminari?" Akira shook his head, he wasn't that into hero stuff. The only heroes he knew are the ones in his neighbourhood, the top 10 and all hot female heroes.

"The only teacher I know who works here is Midnight," He said. "I hoped to see Midnight." Disappointment evident in his voice that Midnight wasn't their tour guide.

"I heard ya kid!" Present mic shouted at Kaminari who acted oblivious to it. "Hmph, ya brats. Follow me in a line, if ya get lost just ask someone for directions to the exit and wait there till we come there."

He showed them the facilities their school provided, from labs to various training equipment. UA didn't hold back in anything, they had almost everything. From libraries to computers. It looked more like a university than a school. Mic showed them around some second-year hero course students who were taking their class. The first-years are on a field trip and all the third-years are on internship.

"Are they always this attentive or are they acting?" Setsuna asked out aloud accidentally. Making all the 2-A students stop and stare at her. She got shy and stood behind Akira who was looking at a blond guy who was more muscular than him, to hide.

"I don't want to create false expectations so I'll say it, we never pay attention." The blue-eyed blonde haired guy said loudly. Which made the whole class including Ectoplasm who was taking the maths class sigh.

*Smack* The blue haired girl who was now the currently most beautiful girl Akira seen in a while, smacked the guy's head and whispered, "You idiot! We're supposed to set a good example to our juniors!"

But since the class was very quiet, everybody heard it.

'Airheads' an indigo-haired boy thought and he laid down on the table.

"Mmm, finally some good fucking food." Akira said as he ate like a glutton.

They were currently sitting in the cafeteria eating the delicacy made by lunch rush, arguably the best cook in all of Japan. Easily one of the best in the whole world.

"They sure know how to cast a bait. After having food like this I don't think I can go to any other school!" Setsuna was no different, she was devouring as much food as possible. 

"I will definitely pass the entrance exam, at least for this food." Kaminari ate the food. 

"Mmm, Lunch Rush makes the best food." Yui nodded. Her and Kaminari were sitting on the same side opposite to the two gluttons who were eating like they had never tasted food before.

"Uh, Akira are you eating well at home man? I can ask my mom to make food for you." Kaminari was concerned for his friend. Though the food was good, Akira ate like he hadn't eaten for weeks.

"It's fine, Kaminari. Ever since I started working out, to reap the maximum benefit I haven't been eating anything other than chicken breast and salads! Food like this is a blessing from heaven."

"What about you Setsuna-san?" Yui asked her.

"My quirk burns up a lot of energy, so I have to eat this much."

'How envious… she can eat however she wants without worrying about getting fat.' 

"If you don't mind, can you tell me what your quirk is? Mine is 'Electrification'. Basically I can literally shock people." Kaminari smirked as he made yellow sparks on his hand.

"My doctor named mine 'Lizard tail Splitter'. I can split my body into up to as much as Fifty pieces. I can control all of the pieces remotely." She said while being slightly embarrassed about her quirk name.

"Are you sure your doctor named it? To me it sounds like a six year old kid named it." Akira immediately saw through her lie and smirked at her.

"If you know it, just keep quiet, idiot." Setsuna jabbed her elbow slightly at his side and asked, "So what's your quirk?"

"I call mine 'Projection'. Just like the name specifies, I can 'project' and on my imagination into reality temporarily," Akira said as he placed down his chopsticks. Immediately two green translucent chopsticks appeared on his hand. The chop sticks soon transformed into a pocket knife which he spun around his arm like a professional and as he stabbed the knife on the table it exploded into a bunch of confetti.

"Woah~" Yui clapped.

"That was so cool. I wish I had recorded it." Setsuna said as he caught a confetti, "I can even touch it. It feels real."

"Yeah cool right?"

Soon the lunch time came to an end and they were taken to the USJ too, which pushed UA a tier above all schools in all of Japan. But like all good things, the trip came to an end. All the students boarded the bus again, ready to get back to their home.

"Geesh~ UA is on another level." Setsuna commented.

"No joke. It's at his own level. Other schools can't even compare." Akira nodded. "But why are we sitting together?" He asked genuinely. When they boarded the bus, to his surprise Kaminari and Yui were sitting together, he didn't know what Kaminari said to the girl to agree to that.

"What? You don't wanna sit with me?" Setsuna questioned back with a raised eyebrow.

"... I fell into such an obvious trap didn't I?" 

"You did." Setsuna chuckled, "So what's your answer?" 

"No comments." Akira decided not to answer and looked through the window.

"Man~ you're no fun~" Setsuna shrugged. "How sure are you to get into the hero course?"

"Heh, if people like you and Kaminari are my competitors, then I'll say about 40 percent."

"That low?"

"If I was blind and lost all my limbs."

She stared at him blankly before chuckling, "Is that arrogance or confidence?"

"You can think whatever you like."

"I'd rather prefer a humble guy." She commented.

"You get what you get." Akira shrugged.

"I'm starting to like you more and more Akira, Say wanna go out?" Setsuna asked out of the blue. She honestly felt like this was their first date rather than an educational trip.

"This quick? I thought you'd just ask for my number." Akira said. He knew Setsuna was attracted to him. And he'd say the same to her. He liked girls with a 'rebellious' vibe. He was gonna ask her number anyway before she left.

"Well that's a given mister. So what do you say?"

"I don't mind."

"Still playing hard to get I see? I'll break that character of you soon enough~" Setsuna smirked as he lifted her palms. "Gime your phone for a minute."

"Will you tell me the reason if I ask why?"

"No."

"Then here." Akira handed her his phone after unlocking it. He didn't care if she saw personal stuff, because he never stored anything important in phone except maybe papal.

"Come here." Setsuna suddenly pulled him closer and took a selfie. It was comical as Setsuna was grinning widely, while Akira looked clueless at the camera. She immediately sent the photo to her phone, she just saved her number in his phone.

"You're welcome~" She smirked at him. Knowing very well she succeeded in annoying him.

All the while Kaminari stared at the two of them with bloodshot eyes. Yui slept long ago so he didn't have any chance to make a move. So looking at Akira who already got a Setsuna's number while it hasn't even been a full day since they met.

'Is this karma?' He wondered.

He made Yui agree to sit with him by lying that Akira begged him to somehow make Setsuna sit with him. In the end his plan bit his own ass.

'Whatever, at least I have her sleeping on my shoulder! I take this as a win!' 

He knew he was just huffing copium, but he knew that Yui likes him. At least he hopes she does. Otherwise, he'd cut his balls off in depression and become gay.

I'm not the best when it comes to romance but I've tried my best. And no, they aren't officially a couple yet. I'm still thinking if Akira will come to love Setsuna in the future and vise-versa. Since Setsuna's character is not well-mentioned as some other characters I can take a creative liberty on her. But I don't wanna change Akira's base character for every chapter based on my convenience.

SO I came up with a solution, what does Akira like? thighs, strong women and woman who will readily treat him like her pet whenever he wants her to. Setsuna checks two of this category, she's just not strong enough... yet.

And you guys know damn well what that means.
