Chapter 6, Alabasta

'I'm finally home, wait for me dad, I'm almost home.' thought Vivi looking towards the city with longing.

"amazing, this is a great view," said Nami smiling while looking at the city in the distance. Soon when Mew-Wailord was around 50 away from shore, he slowly started diving into the ocean, "WE'RE GOING DOWN!" shouted Usopp terrified running to the mast of the ship to hold onto for safety. Nami and Chopper were also a little startled but didn't overreact like Usopp.

"Calm down Usopp Mew is properly just putting down the ship to detransform," said Sanji while looking at Usopp who was still holding the ship mast but calmer now.

As Sanji said, the Going Merry was set down on the water as soon as Mew-Wailord dived underwater creating a small wave that pushed the ship forward. As the ship moved behind it you could see a considerably large light blue glow once the glow dissipated Mew flew outta the area towards Going Merry.

"get the anchor ready," instructed Nami, the others said nothing and got everything ready for the landing, and soon the ship was anchored, and immediately after Luffy ran off while shouting, "FOOD!"

While this was going on Mew was almost at the Going Merry, and a minute or so later he arrived at the designated location.

Once he arrived he saw Vivi pointing toward a small, purplish-blue boat with 3 as a figurehead. On its side, it displays a number 3 in large print in the center of a red circle. It has 2 gun ports on each side, and its cabin is shaped like a clam. It also has a blue and white striped sail and the Baroque WorksJolly Roger as the flag.

This was Mr3's pirate ship Chiryaku Ten'nen Maru.

"It's Mr3's ship," pointed Vivi with trembling hands terrifying Nami and Usopp once they heard who the ship belonged to.

Chopper who was grabbing his small blue backpack saw Mew floating in the air and called out to him excitedly, "MEW!" getting the attention of Mew himself and the rest of the crew.

Vivi seeing Mew, walked towards him before bowing 45 degrees and said with an appreciative tone, "thank you very much for giving us a ride Mew-san."

Mew moved his small hands in a waving gesture and said, "mew mew ~" Vivi turned towards Chopper for translation, which he happily does, "Mew said, 'It's quite alright~'"

'This quite inconvenient, waiting for Chopper to translate everything I say,' Thought Mew while looking at the interaction between Vivi and Chopper. 'wait, doesn't Mew have telepathy? let's try this out,' he continued.

Mew tried to spread his intent outward, which was mostly concentrated on the minds of the crew, while doing this he found out something interesting those who had strong wills like Zoro and Sanji were resisting his intent, but they too soon ceased their resistance once they sensed he didn't have any malicious intent.

Suddenly they heard a small childish voice in their minds, [testing 123, can you hear me?] the voice asked startling the weaker crewmates and making Zoro and Sanji vigilant.

A/N: [...] = Mew speaking telepathically

"Who said that?!" asked Zoro whilst pulling one of his swords out, particularly Wado Ichimonj, his white katana. Even if he didn't sense malicious intent from the voice, he still has to be careful and protect his friends if necessary.

"GHOST!" shouted Usopp, making Nami, Chopper, and Karoo terrified.

[Calm down guys it's me Mew!] stated the childish voice once again. [I thought it would be inconvenient for me and Chopper for him to translate every time I try to speak with you guys. So I came up with this solution,] he continued.

This calmed down the terrified quartet, (A/N: if 3 is a trio, 4 is a quartet.) and they had to sit down for a breather, too many surprises today. "I see, it was you I felt trying to enter my mind," said Zoro putting away Wado Ichimonj, Mew just nodded.

[Anyhow, let's go after Luffy, we don't know what kind of trouble he could cause,] said Mew telepathically, "this is so freaky but cool at the same time," commented Usopp while looking towards the floating Mew.

"Luffy is easy to find, we just have to head towards the place with the loudest noises and he should be there," said Sanji while jumping down to shore, followed by Zoro. Sanji turned around facing Nami and Vivi and said, "NAMI-SWAN, VIVI-CHWAN jump down I'll catch you!" His pupils turned into a heart shape but it was soon ruined by Mew's reply, "It's quite alright I got this, and it would be safer this way."

Suddenly Vivi, Nami, Chopper, Karoo, and Usopp started floating due to Mew's telekinesis, "WHOA IM FLYING! I'm now Captain Usopp warrior of the skies!" shouted Usopp with a smug expression that couldn't contain his excitement.

"ME TOO ME TOO!" added the enthusiastic Chopper, Karoo was terrified and started quaking to be let down, but was ignored and Vivi didn't pay attention to him because she herself was squeaking with excitement. She liked the feeling of 'flying', she used to sit on top of Pell while he flew her around in the past.

Sadly their excitement was short-lived because they were soon back on the ground, and the sensation they were feeling went away.
