"Hmmm," Derek rubbed his chin as he leaned back and turned toward the glass wall, from where he saw Angellis gorgeous cityscape.
"Derek, this is serious. We don't have the forces to fight the federation." Luke warned.
"And what do you propose I do? You want me to run. The question is: Where?"
Pondering, Luke's brows furrowed deeply. "We need to discuss this with the council." He said it after a while.
"I don't need the council to tell me where I'll go. We'll focus on this later; right now, I want to see our progress into the sea. The Black Sea is a zone outside the domain of the federation and the empire so we have the right to claim it."
"There are two superpowers in Xon; what makes you think they'll let a third grow?" Luke asked. He had realized that Derek wasn't just building a stronghold but a power strong enough to rival the two clashing superpowers ruling over Xon.
