Chapter 2
Jasmine's pov
A sound was heard at the other end of the room.Without being told who it was I knew it was Tristan...so i subconsciously went to the door I reached for the door knob and then I turned it to give way for the familiar figure standing in front of me
"Tristan I'm ecstatic to see you here"I said giving him a warm embrace
"Same here "he said responding to my embrace
The embrace took longer than expected. Eventually we parted as I looked straight into his eyes. His eyes are crystal clear I could almost see through him.He did the same and it was a very awkward moment until my mom came to break the unbearable and awkward silence. I silently thanked her
"Tristan dear"mom called out embracing him. He responded equally,it didn't take long for the embrace to be broken
"I really missed you and I'm sure Jasmine did as well"
"Ok then you two should get going...bye now"
I stepped forward to peck her on the Cheek before heading to the door while Tristan just waved. We walked about three blocks with silence as our loyal partner
"Sooo... what's next"I said awkwardly in an attempt to break the silence
"Hunh?"Tristan said obviously being interrupted from his thought
"I said what's next"I repeated
"Uhmm... like I said we Will go to her house after school hours, at the moment I pray she's alright"Tristan said full of Hope
"Same here"I finally said
It took a moment for me to think of a new topic, and without thinking my mouth acted faster than my brain could process
"So what's your plan today"I Said awkwardly mentally hitting myself
"My plan?"Tristan said with a confused and somewhat surprised expression
"You know... your plans today?" I mentally faced palmed myself
"Do you mean like a date plan..."he said with an obvious smirk on his face
"What of course not silly"I said equally trying to smile
"What do you mean then"Tristan said with a raised brow and a charming smile
"I meant... your school schedule silly"I managed to say
"Has the cat got your tongue"Tristan said with a wide grin
"What! Of course not I was just trying to...you know"I said hoping he knows what I mean
"I actually don't"he said with a deeper smile which revealed his perfectly placed dimples
"You know...I was trying to put my words together"I managed
"Really???"he said with complete disbelieve in his voice
"Anyway I heard we have a new gym teacher"he said with a playful grin
"Hmmm... really"putting more emphasis on the word really
"Yh...I also heard that he's young, about our age"
"Tristan Tristan Tristan when Will you learn, remember I'm not in kindergarten...who are you fooling"
"I'm not kidding I'm actually seriously... well not completely serious I can never be completely serious"
"If what you said turns out to be true. My question now is how is it my damn business. What am I supposed to do with the information " I stated
"I believe you know exactly what I mean " he raised his brows
"Uhhh no I don't " I firmly said
"I hope you are not insinuating something very stupid "
"what, how could I. I say the Smartest things " he joked
"must you joke around with everything "
"yup" I gave myself face palms indicating how annoying he is right now, but it's like my annoyance gives him more strength to taunt me.
"what brought about the argument anyway "
" The conversation about how young the gym teacher is"
"oh yh"
"you know what? "
" what? "
" you got real talent "
"Awwwn thank you "
"don't get too hold of yourself dimples... I mean smirky "
"New nickname?cool"
"it's not a... " I got caught of
"It is too me"
"why do you have problems saying nice things to me"
"I don't "
"yes you do "
"I...I guess you're right I'm sorry I have major problems and I don't like owning up to them "
"It's alright "
"So about the gym... "
"don't even dare complete that sentence "
"I actually wanted to say gym class " he smirked
" what did you think I wanted to say "
"You know very much what "
"umm Yh, but I still wanna hear it from your mouth "
"fine... I said gym... Teacher " I muttered
"Good girl "
"why must you annoy me every opportunity you have "
" to be frank, it just became my new found hobby"
"oh no"
"oh yes "
"this is gonna be bad "
" This is gonna be fun"
I'm just thankful that he didn't ask me further questions about why I called him dimples. It's weird and I hate the way my mouth moves before my brain could process "
" what, why are you giving me that look "
"Oh you mean this look, this is just my thinking look "
"Oh nothing much apart from the reason you called me dimples "
"oh no"
"Oh yes "
"it was just a slip of tongue... Grow up and stop leaving in the past "

"So how was your Summer Holiday"
"It was amazing, I went... "
