"Your Highness!" Greeted a voice I do recognize as Aeron's voice.
I was more than just happy to see um that I throw myself over him and embarrassed him into a hug. I felt his body freezes from the impact of the shock. I should've been shocked too, it's my first time throwing myself over someone that way.
Don't hate, you wouldn't blame me if you were hunted by a bunch of dogs at night, with zero skills to survive. Aeron at that moment looks like a knight in shining armor to me, the hope I was searching for a while.
"Wow! What's that for? And what on earth you're doing here?" He asked, and I didn't know from where I shall start it all.
I took a step, regaining some distance between us both. Then I bend my head down. I mean, what should I tell him. Shall I start that my imprint isn't a human nor vampire, he is a wolf – werewolf? Not to mention that he is the famous son of alpha Blaze, the one who kills my own and targeting my own father.
I was speechless, and I got all the rights to be. Still, I needed to answer the question I was asked a while ago.
"I got curious, and you guys didn't notice that my room has a window. So, it wasn't safe for me to stay there."
For some reason, he was looking as if he was about to snap at me on any second from now as his face was screaming 'Are you serious?'.
Well, I didn't have to study his facials for any longer as he decided to speak.
"The window was closed, and no werewolf could've step even one step inside since your entire room was filled with wolfsbane."
He was about to turn quiet for a while before he decided to take a second out of his precious time to make fun of me.
"Let's just pretend you were right. Instead, of searching for help you decided to take a nap under the sky. I got to admit it, you are a genius." He started laughing while clapping with his hands, causing my cheeks to get red out of shame.
He was sort of right, but I would never let him know that he was right.
"You can't blame!" I tried to defend myself. "I supposed to be crowned this exact night and announced to be the vampire queen. We supposed to reign together from now on, but look where we are. And it's all because of those dogs. If I'm acting irrationally, it is because of what's happening around us."
I'm not the type to be a drama queen, but I got to admit that I might be a good one in the future. He was about to say something when we both heard someone approaching. From the scent coming towered me.
"Stay here and don't try to use your brain on any sort of ways."
Normally I would've to protest at the fact of being called dumb. Yet, this is too far from being any sort of normal. So, I did as I was told to, I waited in my spot.
Few minutes have passed, and Aeron was nowhere to be seen. I started fighting against my demons as part of me wanted to go and search for Aeron, while the other part was trying to do as I was told to.
The scent of my imprint was doing me a favor, and the more it gets stronger – the more I know he's way too close. Until I started feeling that he was right behind me.
Unlike the first time, I didn't dare to face him. I kept standing still on my feet, while only wishing if Aeron stayed here with me.
Yet, he didn't. I was alone with the devil. Pain shot all over my body as I was attacked from my back. He broke my neck, leading me to lose consciousness. Without having a choice, I surrounded to the darkness.
It took me hard to open my eyes, and when I did – I found myself locked inside of a cell, and I got to mention it's a dirty one.
I was laying on wet ground that smells worse than anything I've ever scented. It was similar to what I can assume to be a scent of death. Shouts and screams that were all around, prove that I was right in assuming that the cell I was locked in, is nothing more than a cage inside of a dead zone.
I helped myself to stand on my feet while trying to remeber what happened. All I could've remeber was that a glories night went from perfectness to this. It's all my fault, I should've trust my father when he told me that I'm no one but a monster to the person I'm destined to.
Lost in my thoughts I was when I remembered Aeron. My heart started beating hard while I was thinking about what happened to him or could be happening to him right now.
They were too many, and he was on his own. They for sure out-powered him. I deeply hope that he could've escaped, and nothing harmless happened to him.
My heart started beating as hard as it could be while my nose started recognizing the unfriendly familiar scent getting too close to where I was locked, and when my eyes met his… He smiled maliciously before he spoke.
" Welcome to hell … Princess."
