Marvel: Typhon the Maker

(Cover Image is not mine) In my life as a human, I was an artist, creating various works of art and drawings both during my actual work and during my spare time. I drew monsters, some from myths and legends, others from popular shows, anime, comics, and things like that. Sometimes it was due to my self-interest and other times it was because I was hired. I didn't make it big or anything like that but I was still living a good life, had a wife eventually alongside some kids but well old age gets to everyone eventually. I was sad that I was dying, but I accepted it, I had my children and one or two grandchildren alongside me. That and the rest of my family but I didn't have my wife alongside me, my muse, Rose, kept me grounded, and made sure my mind didn't wander off too often. When she died it broke all our hearts and well I went to a dark place, my work got darker, and the few clients I had noticed this as well. I think it was this dark part of my life that got its attention, I had no idea what it truly was all I saw was a bright light and it put something in me, my very soul, and tossed me through a vortex. Then I appeared on a lifeless planet, alongside countless other beings each one a newborn like myself. Then I knew what I was, what that being gave me, and the power I now wielded. I was Typhon the Maker, the origin of the monsters of the universe, and wielder of the Annihilation Maker from DxD. This was my purpose, for I was no longer human and nowhere near my timeline/world.

Spreading Influence

I decided to Leave my Monster Scholar alone for a very long time, letting them research and find new ways to use magic and cosmic energies. Hopefully, he would devise numerous ways to utilize it, and I could reap its profits. For right now I began looking my plane over and I began to take notice of several things. First, it seems that the various vampires, werewolves, and wendigos were thriving, and started to spread a bit across the continent. They even had basic tool knowledge and agriculture as well.

So maybe they'll become my plane's version of humanity, in their own way even with their monstrous visage. They did have numerous encounters with Dragons both Chromatic and Metallic, alongside the various elementals. In some cases, they had a beneficial and positive relationship, other times not so much. I also noticed a new subspecies of each dragon type starting to appear, a less-than-idle mutation. It was a smaller reptile species, the Wyverns.

Usually, mutations in a species were beneficial but in this case, not so much, the only reason they survived is due to their own higher reproduction rate. Though to be fair in some species cases that's all that is needed for them to survive. Unless an outside predator or anything not native to the local environment were to interfere. The humanoid monsters didn't have a problem dealing with them, and while it was rare they even killed one everyone in a while.

However they did share one trait with their Dragon cousins, the fact they got stronger and wiser with age. Even if it wasn't at the same rate or power as a Dragon of the same age, they could take a Dragon under the right circumstances. It didn't matter though, it was time to to release the Wyverns and Dragons into the world, to worlds.

I gathered six Dragons of each type, Wyverns as well although they were a little lighter in color and far more animalistic, making them harder to control. Not that much though, they were mostly harder to hunt down than anything. While the Dragons understood what was going to happen and were calm about it all, the Wyverns not so much.

I opened portals across the universe, spreading each Dragon and Wyvern type across the universe, each chromatic and metallic Dragon/Wyvern being paired together. Placing them in random parts of the universe, not wanting to invest all my time on earth. The supernatural creatures I already placed there should be good enough for now that is. I might place something else there but I didn't want to be like Gaea and spend all my energy on it.

Although Gaea was the planet itself so they didn't have as much choice, I still didn't want to put all my eggs in one basket. I wanted to spread not just across the universe but the multiverse, I mean I knew it probably existed based on some faint memories. It was a bit of a blur, to be honest, but I vaguely remember a world without monsters or any supernatural creatures. It was also a faint feeling, something that was beyond my plane, the universe as well. Beyond all other dimensions and planes that existed and yet didn't in this universe.

Freeing the various Dragons and Wyverns into the universe got me thinking, while I did have a few more good ideas I was starting to get burnt out. I wanted to introduce new things into this universe but well I was running out of ideas. I had a few I could work on but well it was getting to the point where it would take quite a while before anything new would be released. I had a few faint ideas of legends or something like that I just couldn't remember where I got the ideas from.

Right now it didn't matter, my curiosity was starting to get the best of me and if I could access the information of another universe I could gain new ideas. Perhaps I could even bring something back for my little scholar or find a place where I could place my monsters. Where their legends can spread amongst a new audience, perhaps I would find a few new monster species that I would be interested in creating for my own. Not outright copy them, perhaps a bit of modification here and there to make them more mythical, well only if they interest me.

Opening a window into the universe I saw that it was still in its primal stages and that the two The Travelers were essentially terraforming the planet, turning it into something of their own image. Their definition of beauty I was assuming based on the tall twisting tower coming out of the planet. I had to admit they were doing a good job terraforming the planet, it was essentially becoming a planet-wide art piece. The natives were also being taught the basics of civilization, although my two children were essentially coddling them.

Something they would come to regret later on if they ever left and returned to this planet. I left them to be though, they had to learn, to grow as complex beings, to become beyond what I made them.

Closing the door, I opened several other windows into the universe each one directed at each Dragon and Wyvern species I sent out. From the looks of things they were doing fine so far as they had no trouble with the local population, well a few did but nothing beyond what they couldn't handle on their own.

I then opened a door to Earth, eventually finding the pre-vampires, werewolves, and wendigos I had placed on Earth. Looking at each of them, they were thriving well at least I believed so but I would probably check in again after my next project. The construction of a multiversal doorway, something I could manipulate and tune into different universes, to walk in and out of.

I would let my helpers, well help out of course, and construct a large gateway something I could get Drasilaga through without them crouching down. Snapping my fingers I began gathering the energy necessary to accomplish it.
