Allen hated his visions. He hated how it gave him a false sense of hope. He hated it for ruining his perfect life. He didn’t know why it was happening to him but when a green stone appeared above his beaten body he felt like he'd gotten all the answers in the world. Tony Stark POV
Tony was in his workshop when it happened. Diagrams of various weapons littered on the screen and Tony scanned them absently. A ring of his phone snapped him out of his daydreaming. He answered it.
"Hello" he said while glancing at his watch. It was quite late already.
"Hello, is this Mister Tony Stark?" A calm voice replied.
"The one and only"
"This is XX Hospital, as one of Harold Hogan's emergency contacts we are calling to tell you that he was in a car crash and is under our care."
"I'll be right there."
Tony took whatever car was closest to him and rushed to the hospital. He ran straight to the reception, startling her out of her call.
"Sorry, give me one minute." She told the phone then looked up at Tony, her eyes lit up in recognition.
"Where's Allen?"
"Sorry?"
"You called earlier, you said that Harold Hogan was in critical condition. There should be a boy with him. Allen… Allen Stark."
She tapped something into her computer and looked up apologetically. "I'm sorry sir, there is no Allen Stark."
"What about Allen Smith?"
"There is an Allen Smith, is he currently aged 47?"
"No.." Tony pressed his palms to his face. "What about Happy- Harold Hogan, where is he?"
"Harold Hogan… he just left surgery and is currently in room 18, in the white ward. Just turn the corner and you will see the elevator."
Tony ran towards the elevator and shouted out a "thanks".
When he reached Happy's room he noticed that Happy was awake and two officers were standing over him holding notebooks.
"Boss!" Happy sat up.
Tony walked towards him, "Happy, I'm very glad your safe and all that but where is Allen?"
"I don't know. I asked everyone and they told me I was the only one at the scene." Happy said. "I've told the officers this-"
"Hello Mister Stark, my name is Felix and this is my partner Sharon. We are in charge of Mister Hogan's case. When we reached the scene of the crash, the only live human involved in the crash was Mister Hogan. The driver that caused the crash was the only one that died. He and Mister Hogan are the only two involved in this crash per our report."
"No- Allen should've been there too, he's a small boy, 7 years old and he should be on the same car as Happy." Tony tried saying.
Maybe Happy had met the accident whilst on the way of picking up Allen? "What time was the crash?"
"Around 16:12 was when the paramedics arrived."
Tony gritted his teeth, Allen finishes school at 3:30. "And what time was the crash?"
"We aren't sure, but the first call for the ambulance was at 15:51. The crash took place at XX street."
Tony looked at Happy. "I picked him up and was on the way home." Happy said.
"My son does not just disappear out of thin air." Tony told the officers and marched out of the door.
"Where are you going?" They asked.
"To find my son."

Allen POV
Most of the food given to them wasn't touched, everyone too tired to eat they just sat around in their cell waiting for their fate. Allen too was left helpless. He forced himself to meditate to ease the urge to collapse, as he close his eyes he tried calling to the Time stone. He can feel the faint hum of its power but nothing was happening.
A wet gurgle resounded across the room along with panicked gasps. Allen glanced over there with tired eyes. He hardened his heart for the next victim.
"BELLA!"
Allen shot up. He rushed over and saw Bella's shivering body. Blood leaked from the corners of her mouth and as she coughed the red liquid splattered everywhere.
The world spun. His surroundings blurred and all the sounds of the world became faint whispers then a low ring. Slowly the ring got louder and louder and louder. Without realising his body moved to the door.
*BANG*
His fist hit the door.
*BANG*
Then the other fist.
He kept pounding the door. "OPEN IT!!! SHES GOING TO DIE!!" He begged, tears covering his face.
But no one responded.
He clawed at the small slits of the door, then the nail heads. He tried pulling and pushing at every spot of the door, hoping to find an opening, ignoring the blood spilling out of his broken nails.
'It's my fault', he thought, 'I'd gotten too complacent… I'd neglected my training… I'd grown too weak… I- I've been too over confident because I thought I knew the future, I'm sorry, it's my fault so please-'
"PLEASE… please…" He threw his body into the door.
Then everything went quiet.
The blood that dropped from his fingers floated in the air. He spun around and the other kids were all frozen. Faces all resigned and paused mid motion.
With renewed hope he pressed his palm onto the cold metal and pushed. Nothing happened. He tried again. Nothing. He shoved all his emotions into one intent.
Warmth washed over his body out of his hands. The door released a rattling sound and finally it buckled. It visibly aged, going from a silver colour to a orange copper, then it crumbled.
Allen hurried over to Bella hands stretched out to only to pause. Memories of his dead mother flashed into his mind. He retreated back towards the door and walked through the empty space, kicking up the rusty debris. Shooting one final look at Bella, he left.
Once he exited the prison cell he weaved through the frozen guards, taking their weapons with him and rushed towards what seemed like an exit. Pushing pass all the doors blocking him and turning them into rusted metal. But as he gets further out, his lungs ache. His vision blurs again and he feels like he's walking through mud. He's gasping for air now and at the final door, a simple wooden one that was unlocked, he escaped.
Allen squinted at the sunshine, and basked in the warmth of it. He tried breathing in but a cough got lodged in his throat. He limped through the thick forest mildly aware his surroundings were slowly returning with life. The leaves were falling quicker, the breeze hitting his face. He started running, ignoring the pain exploding from his feet, ignoring the way his lungs feel like it's collapsing, then he fell.
As his face hit the dead leaves his body seemed to lose all function. Without any strength to lift himself up he cried. "Help…" he whispered through big, fat tears, "somebody…" and like his prayers were met a small orange spark formed. Then it got bigger, and bigger and turned into a portal.
Heavy steps reached him and he tensed.
"Allen!" A deep, familiar voice shouted.
Big, warm arms held him up and- "Dad?" Brown eyes met brown eyes.
Tony Stark forced a grin, "Yeah- I'm here now, don't worry." He ran his fingers through Allen's mangled hair.
Allen's eyes felt heavy as all the tension left his body and he felt safe. "The other kids… they need he l p… Bel la… save them…" he let himself rest.
The Ancient One stepped out from behind Tony and let out a tired sigh. "I will deal with this mister Stark." She opened another portal to the hospital and Tony stepped though without another word, his palm rested on Allen's breathing chest.
I’ll be honest… I forgot this novel existed. Other than that the reason why he used his powers so late is because…. “plot” this novel is pretty angsty ngl and I also lowkey forgot he has powers.
Let’s just hope I continue to post because if anything this novel’s updates are as inconsistent as the story :p
