Marvel: Spectre's Chronicles

Lucas Spectre, an ordinary young man, unexpectedly finds himself isekaid to the Marvel universe. Will he become another cliché isekai protagonist, relying on serums(drugs on the rocks), magic, and other common tropes to acquire powers in the Marvel universe? Or is there something more to his arrival? Did a ROB granted him any cheats? Is he destined to be there, or just an unlucky individual caught in the whims of a powerful being? The answers to these questions will be revealed in chapters 8-10, so just read it plebs. ---------------------------------- If you want to read some advanced chapters, be sure to check on my p_treon, your monetary support will be greatly appreciated. Chapter #10

Long ago, there existed two beings who found themselves entangled in profound love. They were bound by contrasting forces - one by the strings of destiny, and the other driven by a higher purpose.

Once adversaries and rivals, they embodied the clash of light and darkness, hope and despair. Such was their intricate history.

Selene Galio, a human, was no ordinary mutant. She possessed a unique status as an External, gifted with the eternal gift of life. As she traversed her seemingly cursed existence, fate led her to encounter a man who stood in stark contrast to her very being.

A man she initially despised, but eventually grew to love.

That man's name was Aether, an Eternal entrusted with the sacred duty of safeguarding Earth from the malevolent Deviants.

As Selene and Aether's paths converged, their initial animosity slowly transformed into a profound connection.

They discovered that despite their differences, they shared a deep understanding of the burdens they carried. Selene's immortality weighed heavily upon her, a constant reminder of the transient nature of those she cared for. Aether, on the other hand, shouldered the responsibility of protecting humanity, forever vigilant against the Deviants' threat.

Their love blossomed amidst the chaos of their respective worlds. They found solace in each other's arms, a sanctuary amidst the turbulent forces that sought to tear them apart. Together, they forged a bond that transcended time and space, unyielding to the whims of destiny or purpose.

Their love blossomed amidst the chaos of their respective worlds. They found solace in each other's arms, a sanctuary amidst the turbulent forces that sought to tear them apart. Together, they forged a bond that transcended time and space, unyielding to the whims of destiny or purpose.

In a moment of selflessness and sacrifice, Aether and Selene made a choice that would forever alter their destinies. Through the power of sorcery and magic, they severed the ties that bound them to their respective realms.

Aether willingly relinquished his connection to the light, allowing Selene to carry its brilliance within her. In turn, Selene used her knowledge of mystic arts to veil Aether's existence, shielding him from the ever-watchful eyes of those he wished to hide from.

By sharing and sacrificing their halves, Aether and Selene found a delicate balance between their contrasting natures. Aether's light allowed Selene to embrace her external existence without the constant reminder of transience. The darkness that once plagued her was tempered by the radiant presence of Aether's essence, casting a gentle glow upon her cursed life.

In their secluded existence, Selene and Aether reveled in the joys of a simple life, far removed from the burdens of their immortal and mystical origins. They embraced the beauty of the mortal world, cherishing each moment as if it were a precious gem. Their love flourished, growing deeper with every passing day. Also their names a multiple times to suit their needs.

In time, their love bore fruit, and Selene and Aether welcomed the arrival of their children—a daughter and a son.

And that's the story of love and struggle between one Selene Galio and the Eternal, Aether, or how they go by now as Selena Spectre and Mark Spectre.

[Selena Spectre's POV]

My son was hurt, by a fucking useless human no less. The moment that I heard he was shot, I felt my heart race because of the possibility that he died. Thankfully he managed to survive, though it makes no change to the fate that befalls the one who did this to him.

"AHHHHHHHH!" Dennis Carradine's scream echoed through the air. The man who harmed my son, after visiting my son at the hospital, I immediately started my hunt to find this rat, and there I found him at his home eating a pizza... like nothing had happened.

"The moment you laid a hand on my son is the moment that you've sacrificed your life in my hands! Now DIE!" I shouted as I pierce my hand to his heart completely draining away his life force.

"Selene, my love," a familiar voice called out from behind me. Yes, it had been a long time since I had heard that name.

"Aether, honey... how is our son?" I asked, turning to face my husband. Behind me, the lifeless corpse of Dennis Carradine disintegrated into nothingness.

"He's stabilizing, the cosmic has awakened within him..." my husband revealed, shocking me with his words.

"So... he is like your kind?" I inquired, seeking confirmation of my suspicions.

"An 'Eternal?', luckily no, I have no idea how he awakened the power cosmic but fortunately I was able to cloak it with Phastos' tech," I nod my head and made my way to his destination.

"I suspected something was amiss when he collected our blood samples... Our children will never have a normal life, my love," I whispered, my head leaning against his chest, feeling a pang of sadness for our child who would never experience the simplicity of a human existence.

"I know. It's time we told him the truth. I'll call Kara to come home," my husband suggested, his hand gently caressing my back.

"No, I'll do it myself, I'll need to check Xavier's little playhouse, I swear if they're making our daughter fight those brotherhood mutts, I'll skin his bald head myself," I vowed, determination flickering in my eyes. With a flick of my husband's wrist, we burst into light.
