Dominators touch

Vali was having a fairly easy time leaving after he let out his shadows, many of the more timid mutants gave up on trying to stop him while some of the more bold mutants tried but got completely beaten down.

As for Jean and Scott? Honestly Scott gave the normal shadows a fairly hard fight and killed most of them multiple times but I.C.E ended the fight in a matter of seconds by pinning him down in a spread eagle position before cuffing his limbs down with ice.

Jean wasn't very hard to deal with either since one of her short comings was her physical prowess and hulk v2 was a beast when it came to physical confrontation so she was easily incapacitated by him and quickly sent into dream land.

Shaking his head as he walked out, Vali was kind of disappointed. He was hoping there would be more to the fight with Scott and Jean involved but it turned out to be quite lackluster but what did he expect? The only way there would be a real fight right now would be if Jean lost control...

"Haha, me and my big mouth." Vali chuckled when he suddenly felt his mana drop like crazy.

Turning around, Vali nervously laughed when he saw Jean floating in the air with her eyes glowing in a fiery red. This was going to be a very interesting battle but also a pretty dangerous one as well, not for Vali but for everyone else.

Vali just hoped Jean doesn't take the entire building down, there were still things he needed from this orphanage. Even if it's been a long time, he wants to know why it shut down. Could the same thing happen here that happened in his other life?

Anyway he had no time to worry about anything else right now, stopping Jean came first. Charles had already started to try and calm her and get her to snap out of it but it was useless and he was blown back by Jeans telekinesis after trying his hardest to resist it with his own powers..

"It's useless Charles, I think she's completely unconscious of what she's doing right now." Vali said as he walked up to him and helped get him back into his wheelchair.

Vali's shadows were busily trying to restrain her but the normal shadows were being completely obliterated in matters of seconds and they didn't really contribute to the battle at all so Vali called them all back, no point in wasting mana.

Hulk v2 was fairing a bit better but not by much, Jean was pushing everything away from herself and no matter what direction hulk v2 tried to get to her, he was blown back by an intangible force.

Unfortunately even I.C.E couldn't do much against Jean either but at least he wasn't getting manhandled like hulk v2. I.C.E had an easy time, he just slid around a field of ice he made to avoid Jeans reach while firing ice beams towards her.

Though the ice beams didn't do much to Jean, it at least annoyed her into mainly focusing on trying to destroy I.C.E and his allowed hulk v2 to sometimes slip through and get close to her but he was never able to land a solid hit.

Seeing how the fight was going, Vali decided it was time for him to intervene. There was no reason to hold back right now since Jean was going all out but this is Vali's we're talking about. He never goes all out so he pulled out hundreds of different kinds of bladed weapons.

All the weapons were floating behind him like an army waiting for their generals order to start their attack. Vali had a smile on his face as he dropped his hand causing all the weapons to shoot out at extremely fast speeds.

It was like a tidal wave of weapons flying towards Jean and it didn't end there as Vali summoned more and more and continued sending them towards Jean in a continuous stream.

Jean really was formidable as she easily sent back the wave of weapons back at Vali intending to use his own weapons against him but unfortunately for her they were ultimately his weapons so before they could even touch him, the weapons were sent back into his arsenal.

"This is fun! Let's see how long you can last." Vali laughed.

Vali was indeed having a lot of fun, what he was doing took nothing for him. He wasn't using any mana or energy so he could keep this going for days if he had to. Jean on the other hand didn't have this luxury as she was slowly exhausting her powers.

The scene was incredible, everyone was tense as they watched the fight. This was like a scene straight out of a movie and it was even more impactful that they got to witness it first hand.

Charles gulped as he watched the awe inspiring battle playing out before him. This was a fight between two powerhouses and all he could do was watch on.

Jean was expending even more power than ever before as she exerted even more power and was starting to destroying the concrete flooring and ceiling of the basement.

All the lights started to rattle before exploding into glass shards and flew everywhere but the amazing part about this was that none of them hit the ground but instead stayed afloat in midair even the mutants on the ground started to rise up.

This scene didn't even faze Vali as he brought out even more weapons, they were at least in the thousands now and they all started to surround Jean but they were all trembling as if they had their own minds and were trying to decide who to attack.

"It was fun while it lasted but I can't let you destroy this entire place." Vali calmly said before he waved his hand.

All the weapons rained down on Jean and she was completely blocked from view. After a moment of silence, under the eyes of everyone all the weapons like shrapnel exploded everywhere and scattered all over the basement.

Fortunately for the group of mutants there was one with the power to form barriers and managed to cover for the whole group but judging by the cracks all over his barrier, it just barely managed to stay intact.

Everyone shivered realizing they just barely escaped harm then looked over at Jean who was standing at the center of it all with cuts here and there all around her body.

They thought that she managed to deflect all of the weapons but it seemed she missed a dagger that was buried into her shoulder causing her to hold her shoulder in pain.

She wanted to remove the blade using telekinesis but nothing happened. Vali suddenly appeared next to her and quickly knocked her unconscious before secretly replacing the dagger buried in her arm with another one.

The dagger he took back was special, it was made of a special material that blocked mutant powers and he hid it among the thousands of weapons he sent after her

While everyone thought Jean was the one who deflected all the weapons, in truth he was the one to do it to make the show more believable and no one would suspect that he had a weapon that could block their mutant abilities.

Even Jean at her last moments didn't realize her powers were already blocked the moment she was covered in blades. She thought she was the one who deflected the blades in the very end.

After Jean was knocked unconscious Charles wheeled next to Vali and sighed when he looked at Jeans current condition and thought to himself, 'he really didn't hold back at all, guess it doesn't matter to him who it is.'

"You should get everyone back to the school as soon as possible... lots of them probably need immediate medical attention." Vali said after returning the dagger back into his arsenal.

Charles simply nodded then looked at the group of mutants, "help the injured and get them to the jet outside!" He then looked at Scott pinned to the ground then looked at Vali.

Vali understood what he meant and had I.C.E release Scott from the ice. As soon as Scott was free he instantly rushed towards Jean to check up on her. He felt angry when he saw her condition causing him to glare at Vali but was completely ignored.

Looking around at the state of the basement and all the bladed weapons scattered about, Vali thought about cleaning up his weapons but seeing how many there were he gave up on the idea and decided to just leave them.

The weapons here were all just regular steel blades so it didn't matter if others saw or used them at all plus many of them were broken scrap metal so retrieving them served no purpose at all.

While Vali was thinking, Charles patted his shoulder then said, "alright were leaving now, how're you going to get back later?"

Vali just smiled and didn't answer, since Charles hasn't noticed how his powers function yet, there was no reason for him to reveal it and replied, "I have my ways" before walking away.

Charles just stared at Vali's back for a bit before he followed after him and exited the basement before splitting ways with him upstairs, one towards the jet the other to explore the orphanage.

When they split ways, Vali secretly sent a shadow after Charles and ordered it to enter his shadow without being noticed which took some time since Charles awareness was pretty high but in the end he didn't even realize his shadow had a companion.

The orphanage was two stories high with a basement and Vali went up to the second floor after he split ways with the rest. He entered a completely empty room then stood with his arms crossed behind his back in front of a window that showed the jet.

After a while he watched as the jet slowly started up before disappearing into the sky, "they finally left... what a bunch of headaches, I wonder if this will affect the future in any way..."
