He had originally wanted to teleport to Kamar-Taj, but instead, he ended up right in front of Tony Stark.
It was truly surprising, especially since this was the moment Tony Stark was still fighting against the "villains."
Wasn't he unlucky? Why did he get caught up in danger again?
He wasn't the only one surprised; Tony Stark was equally bewildered.
He looked confused when he saw Luo Bai appear out of thin air.
"Luo Bai?! Where did you suddenly come from?!" Tony Stark exclaimed, lifting his steel helmet to reveal his face.
"Uh... it was an accident this time," Luo Bai replied helplessly.
"An accident?!" Tony Stark asked, clearly perplexed.
Although Luo Bai wanted to explain the situation, seeing Tony in distress made him say, "We should discuss this once you're safe."
Tony Stark finally remembered his predicament, and the man in the black steel suit regained focus.
He glared at Luo Bai, asking in a fierce tone, "I remember you; your name is Luo Bai, right? You helped Tony escape from the cave?!"
Before Luo Bai could respond, Tony Stark hurriedly interjected, "This is our grudge and has nothing to do with him!"
"You still have time to care about others? Take care of yourself first, Tony!" the man in the black suit retorted angrily.
Then he punched Tony Stark with a powerful blow, sending him flying.
Bang!
With a loud crash, Tony Stark flew like a bowling ball and slammed into the wall.
While he shouldn't die in the steel suit, Luo Bai couldn't help but ask after hearing the enormous noise, "Tony... are you okay?!"
Tony Stark didn't respond immediately; it seemed he was seriously injured.
Fortunately, after a moment, he replied, "I can't die just yet."
As he spoke, Tony Stark stood up.
Although he had many questions for Luo Bai, he knew this wasn't the time.
"A lot has happened in the past few days. I'll explain everything when we're safe. For now, you need to get out of here!" Tony Stark urged.
As soon as he finished speaking, Luo Bai immediately replied, "Okay! I'll leave first. You be careful, Tony!"
Tony Stark was taken aback by this straightforward response.
While he understood the urgency of the situation and wanted Luo Bai to leave quickly, he hadn't expected him to agree so easily.
"I thought you'd at least hesitate, but you agreed right away. Aren't we friends?!" Tony Stark complained half-jokingly.
Though Luo Bai pretended to be calm, he smiled and replied, "I don't believe you can handle this on your own."
But internally, he muttered, "I'm not stupid; why wouldn't you run away if it's so dangerous?! Besides, you won't die just because you have a steel suit!"
...
Even without Tony explaining the situation, Luo Bai had pieced it together based on what he knew.
After Tony Stark escaped from terrorists using the Mark I steel suit he built, he had always sought to create more powerful suits, leading to the Mark II and Mark III.
Eventually, Tony Stark truly became Iron Man and appeared in the United States wearing an iron suit, capturing everyone's attention.
Obadiah, who wanted to monopolize Stark Industries, noticed the steel suit's emergence and secretly collaborated with terrorists to research it.
In the end, he successfully created the "Iron Monger" suit and became a supervillain in the Marvel world.
Following that, Obadiah and Tony Stark engaged in their final battle.
If Luo Bai guessed correctly, the man in the black steel suit was Obadiah.
Recognizing the situation, Luo Bai knew he had no reason to stay.
This was an internal conflict within Stark Industries, and as an outsider, it wasn't wise for him to intervene.
Though he had a good relationship with Tony, it wasn't his place to interfere.
Moreover, the suit Obadiah wore was a high-tech weapon.
It could launch machine guns, six-shot missiles, and anti-tank rockets, and it could even fly at high speeds thanks to its rocket propulsion.
Luo Bai was just a novice mage; how could he withstand missile attacks?!
That was far too much!
He wanted to survive and grow.
Who knew how long Lady Luck would be on his side?
Thinking this, Luo Bai decided to open the portal and leave.
He concentrated on visualizing the villa in his mind and began to draw circles with his hands.
Seeing them preparing to escape, Obadiah roared, "You want to run away?! You both will die here!"
With that, he raised his steel right hand toward Luo Bai, ready to fire the machine cannon.
Despite previously joking about Luo Bai's lack of loyalty, Tony Stark instinctively lunged toward him.
Originally, he aimed to buy Luo Bai time to escape quickly.
However, Obadiah had researched and upgraded Tony Stark's suit while developing the "Iron Monger," making its performance far superior to the Mark III in every aspect.
Tony Stark's suit couldn't withstand the Iron Monger's attacks. After being hit by the machine cannon, he completely lost his ability to fight.
Seeing Tony Stark lying on the ground, unable to move, Obadiah smirked triumphantly.
"You seem to care about this kid named Luo Bai? I'll send him to hell with you—no need to thank me," Obadiah said with a sinister smile.
At that moment, he was clearly deranged.
"He's innocent! Obadiah!!" Tony Stark shouted.
He wanted to stop him, but he couldn't.
All he could do was yell, "Go!"
Unfortunately, Luo Bai was too focused on opening the portal to hear Tony Stark's warning.
When using magic energy, one must be highly concentrated, especially since Luo Bai was just a novice mage, so he was naturally more focused.
Fortunately, drawing on his previous successful experience and the imminent danger, the portal opened smoothly this time.
Though it took a little time, it was much easier than before.
As the portal successfully opened, Luo Bai heard a shout behind him: "Be careful!"
Suddenly, a dark figure dashed past Luo Bai and entered the portal.
Luo Bai was stunned.
He was about to check what had slipped into the portal when he realized the portal had vanished the moment he became distracted.
Luo Bai: "!???"
Tony Stark: "????"
At that moment, both Luo Bai and Tony Stark were confused.
"Did a big black mouse just get in?!" Luo Bai asked.
"Um... it was Obadiah," Tony Stark replied, his tone slightly bewildered.
"So why did he enter the portal?!" Luo Bai asked again, perplexed.
Tony Stark responded, still a bit confused, "I don't know. He wanted to attack you, but for some reason, he just vanished."
Tony Stark's tone was odd, and his expression was quite unusual.
He didn't seem to have fully recovered.
But Luo Bai figured it out.
So when he was focused on opening the portal, Obadiah had attempted to sneak attack him.
In a twist of fate, Lady Luck intervened and sent Obadiah into the portal?!
Tsk, tsk.
He was truly the son of luck!
Was it so easy to evade an attack?!
