Arquilian Galaxy, Hyperion
The Growth Codex was placed in a glass cabinet and soaked in a pile of transparent liquid.
Several things that looked like tentacles came out of the top and bottom of the glass chamber. They wrapped around the Growth Codex, which was in the middle.
"Is it ready yet?"
Jack is now standing in front of the cabinet, looking at Growth Codex expressionlessly, but his eyes are full of excitement.
'God knows how long he has been waiting for this moment.'
"The Growth Codex has been analyzed, and the chamber is also ready. We can start at any time."
Red Queen stood aside and answered honestly.
"By the way, speaking of the chamber."
Jack suddenly shuddered, instantly returned to his senses, and looked strangely at another glass chamber beside him.
A large piece of wriggling fungal mat is on the ground five meters between them.
He has heard of this thing before. In StarCraft, this thing is pretty much always where the Zerg are.
Zerg can only be built on fungal mats, and even armies have to be incubated on them. It can be said that this disgusting thing is the most important thing for Zerg.
Jack didn't think too much about how the Zerg fungus got on a human ship. The Hyperion was already a super mothership that perfectly combined the technologies of the three races.
But even though it looked like fungi, it was not a real fungus. It was a biological technology that humans developed based on the characteristics of the Zerg. It was part of their own biotechnology.
The only function of this thing was to supply energy to living organisms.
"Can I...not go in there?" Jack got chills all over his body when he thought about getting naked and crawling into this flesh chamber immediately.
"What do you think?" The Red Queen's response was spot on. Jack nodded helplessly and began to undress. "Okay, let's not delay any longer."
"Hey, my image is that of a child! How could you" The Red Queen looked at him with great disdain, turned her back to him, and continued, "And it's not like we can start immediately. We're still missing one important thing."
"What? There's more?" Jack felt hopeless as he looked at the Red Queen and said how hard it was to change a Kryptonian's Physiology.
"Of course, you also need a large and stable energy source, otherwise the fusion process will likely fail due to short energy."
"Wow, an energy source?"
When it came to energy, Jack first thought of the Infinity Stones, followed by his galaxy, but he rejected both. The galaxy cannot be used; it's his own base and cannot be transferred.
The Infinity Stones could be used, as the Space Stone was in S.H.I.E.L.D., and he could get it anytime, but this involved another problem.
He had to carry out the fusion process in the real world if he wanted to use the Infinity Stones. But he was not confident. Who knew where a person who would cause trouble would come from?
This wasn't the main reason, though. The fusion process would take at least a few months, so he had to leave Wanda and Pietro on Earth and leave for a long time.
Thinking about it, nowhere seemed safe, but Jack still thought of a good place.
The DC Universe.
He had wanted to go there for a long time but had not gone because of many concerns. Now seemed to be the best time.
He didn't have to worry about safety because he could ask Superman for help. In the early of the DC Universe, Superman may have seemed to be the strongest, and only a few people, like Darkseid, may have been able to fight with him.
Since Superman is superhero, there shouldn't be a problem if he really asks him to come over as protection. If things get really bad, he can still go find Wonder Woman, a second-generation goddess almost as good at fighting as Superman.
If he can get these two to protect him, he can relax. Even if only one of them does, it's fine.
Jack thinks that with his looks, even if Superman rejects him, Wonder Woman should agree.
He doesn't have to worry about the time problem because the time he returns from the DC Universe won't change.
As for the most important energy source, he has long planned to use the sun in the universe.
"Now, let's go."
Jack leaves the galaxy and returns to the real world in the Mountains. He took out the DC Universe movie ticket he found last time and silently thought about using it.
A strong flash of light came out of nowhere and wrapped around Jack's whole body. When the light went out, he disappeared.
The Red Queen in the galaxy is a bit speechless, tapping her forehead and saying, "I haven't finished talking yet. Why are you leaving so fast?"
Even though she couldn't do anything, she had to accept what happened and turn around to get ready. It was estimated that the fusion would begin shortly.
At the moment before he crossed over, Jack regretted it. He suddenly remembered that the crossing was random, meaning he didn't know where he would end up.
In the strong light, he quickly lost consciousness.
.....
After an unknown amount of time, Jack slowly heard peaceful music, which gently woke up his slowly recovering his consciousness.
"I'll be damned," he muttered.
As his consciousness returned to his body, He felt an intense rush of pain that made him wonder if a truck had run over him a hundred times. As time passed, the pain slowly faded, and Jack regained control of his body.
He stretched out his head and looked around.
Well, there was no one around, He found himself in a bathroom stall.
The design was very nice, and even the toilet he was sitting on looked like it was made of gold. The trouble was...
'How did he end up in the bathroom?'
"I thought I was supposed to travel through the DC universe. Why am I in a bathroom?" Jack rubbed his neck and stood up, pushing open the stall door.
The music got more obvious, but Jack wasn't interested in listening to it. He went to the sink and washed his face, trying to clear his mind.
"Alright, now, first, I need to figure out where I am and then find Superman or Wonder Woman."
Looking at himself in the mirror, Jack thought about his next steps and current situation.
There was no doubt that he hadn't landed on Krypton or anywhere else because he recognized the faint music he had heard. Jean often recommended him some popular music from the 60s and 70s, and this song was one of them.
In other words, he was still on Earth.
"Thank goodness I didn't end up meeting Darkseid."
Wiping the water off his face, Jack took a deep breath and turned to leave the restroom.
"To the unknown world, here I come."
