Solar Gem

"Jarvis what was that? Analyse the arc Reactor on his chest"

"Yes sir"

"Has it come to this Obi?"

Tony said while walking around Obi to observe him from all directions because he didn't seem to be in the right state of mind.

Walking around him, Tony by chance saw a man sitting down by the corner of the broken building passed out.

'Isnt that Yinsen'

"Sir it happens to be a modification of your arc reactor, basically it is still an arc reactor but the palladium was replaced with a solar gem which turned it red and gave off more heat"

"Solar gem?"

At the statement of that Obadiah got back himself and charged more repilsor blasts at Tony which he easily dodged and wanting to fly away but in the blink of an eye Obadiah utilized the solar gem to boost his speed by using feet thrusters at high output to meet up with Tony and slammed him back down.

Meanwhile Jarvis was busy explaining

"The Solar gem is a product of Phineas Horton a professor who created the Horton cells and also the human torch, an android who could harness the heat of the sun to produce hot energy flames, though he was not human, he was still on humanities side"

"So how the hell did Obi get his hands on that kind of power source, I don't believe this Horton guy is still alive?"

"Professor Phineas Horton is deceased and the human torch project has been sealed away, although it just so happens that before he died he uploaded all of his research online"

"That explains a lot"

Meanwhile Obadiah was busy in the moment trying to crush Tony

After slamming him down he tried stepping on him but Tony rolled away while using the flight stabilizers and thrusters to get back into the air and started firing off a load of repilsor beams which did little effect on the exoskeleton of the mark 1 prototype because of how hard it was made and Tony was still testing the waters, not wanting go all out yet besides he still needs to watch out for the battery life of his arc reactor.

After all the blasts from Tony, Obi only raised his arms to block his face and then looked up at Tony

"Don't tell me that thing can fly" Tony said in awe

"Just like you Tony, I've made adjustments to my own suit"

Obadiah finally said while his thrusters started getting active and melted the ground he was on

"I am so in much trouble"

The suit Tony was in wasn't designed for speed so he turned tails and flew away getting a headstart ahead of Obadiah

The suit Tony designed was focused on a little of strength, and much of utilities, it was a little bit bulkier than the mark 3 and had the robust shape of the mark 1 though still smaller, it was made to match the mark 1 in strength a little and more of utility since he expected it to be roughly made at least but what was in front of him was unexpected.
