Loki's Monologue

The rightful king of the Frost Giants!

How did things get to this point?

Can someone tell me what the hell is wrong with this world?

Why am I always the one being bullied wherever I go?

At this moment, Loki even felt an urge to break down and cry.

Ever since Thor was exiled, it seemed as if the whole world had turned against Loki.

It's no exaggeration to say that Loki is a pitiful villain.

Perhaps it's precisely because of his perpetually tormented nature that his character was so popular in the previous world.

If Zane were still here, seeing Loki in this state, he would surely comfort him:

'Little Loki, don't be sad. Life is like this; you have to go through suffering and torment first.'

'Maybe, after going through it, you'll get used to it. Your miserable days are still ahead; this is just the beginning.'

So absorbed in his sadness, Loki didn't even notice that the three people below had finished their fight and were now standing in front of him again.

It wasn't until his hot-tempered brother grabbed him by the collar and lifted him up that Loki snapped out of it.

Staring blankly at the three people in front of him, a sudden flash of realization struck Loki's mind.

He didn't even hear Thor loudly asking what was wrong.

At that moment, there was only one thought in his mind: how did Zane know about his plan?

Judging by Zane's look and words before leaving, he clearly knew what Loki was up to.

How did he know?

Loki was sure he hadn't told anyone about the plan, not even the people controlled by the scepter.

The more he thought about it, the more frightened he became, shuddering as he realized how terrifying Zane was.

This man was truly frightening, both in power and in his mysterious ways.

Impossible to fathom.

"Loki, what's wrong? Speak up. What happened to you?" Thor shouted at Loki, who seemed to have lost his soul.

Seeing that shouting didn't help, a hint of hesitation flashed in Thor's eyes as he gripped the handle of his hammer.

"Brother, don't blame me. I'm doing this to save you," Thor muttered to himself.

Then he raised Mjolnir high and swung it down towards Loki's pale face.

Tony, wearing his helmet, might not have seen Thor's expression, but Captain America saw it clearly. There was a faint, almost imperceptible glimmer of excitement and pleasure in Thor's eyes as he prepared to hit his brother.

Damn it, what a lunatic!

This whole family seemed to have issues.

Unconsciously, Captain America took two steps back, away from the two brothers.

Just as Mjolnir was about to hit Loki's face, with Thor's eyes showing a hint of satisfaction, Loki regained his senses.

Seeing the hammer growing larger in his vision, Loki's pupils contracted sharply.

"Don't—"

Before he could finish speaking Mjolnir smashed into his handsome face.

"Did he say something just now?"

Thor feigned ignorance, looking at Tony and Captain America with a hint of danger in his eyes.

Seeing Loki lying miserably on the ground with tears in his eyes, both Tony and Captain America wisely shook their heads.

"Did anyone speak just now? We didn't hear a thing!"

Seeing their reactions, Thor nodded in satisfaction.

Even the inexplicable grudge from their earlier fight had lessened considerably.

Thor had long wanted to beat up his troublemaking brother Loki to vent his frustrations.

Unfortunately, the cunning Loki never gave him the chance.

Beating up your brother is something you need to do early on; once he grows up, you won't get the opportunity.

Thor was pleased, but Loki was completely miserable.

Tears of humiliation streamed down his face and dripped onto the ground.

What did I do to deserve this?

Why does everyone bully me?

I just wanted to rule Earth and prove to Odin that I could be a king too.

Why is life so hard?

After collecting himself and getting up from the ground, clutching his face, Thor resumed his dignified demeanor.

He looked at Loki with concern and asked, puzzled, "Brother, what happened to you? This isn't like you at all!"

A flash of fear crossed Loki's eyes, and he resolutely shook his head.

"Nothing, I was just lost in thought for a moment."

He didn't dare reveal that Zane had just been here and taken away the scepter that Thanos had lent him.

Who knew if doing so would anger that unpredictable guy.

Yes, Loki had already defined Zane as an unpredictable entity.

Looking at Zane's radiant smile, Loki suspected he might get stabbed the next moment.

It was this sense of unpredictability around Zane that frightened Loki the most.

He wasn't afraid of standing next to Thanos, who could kill him in an instant, because he knew he was useful to Thanos, and Thanos wouldn't kill him.

But Zane acted entirely based on his whims; morality and self-interest were not factors for this man.

The massacre of the Frost Giants was the best example.

Normally, people would negotiate first, haggle over terms, and eventually resolve things amicably.

That would benefit both parties.

But Zane, without saying a word, almost exterminated the entire Frost Giant race.

He completely destroyed any conditions for the Frost Giants to start a war.

This kind of thinking made everyone shiver.

After a few perfunctory words with his foolish brother, Loki put on his trademark mischievous smile and calmly walked over to Tony, extending his hands.

"Let's go. Your boss must be getting impatient," Loki said indifferently.

He acted as if he wasn't being taken away to be imprisoned but rather going on an outing.

Seeing Loki's abnormal behavior, the three present grew wary.

If their earlier successful capture of Loki could be attributed to their superior strength, this current situation made no sense.

Loki had been left alone for over ten minutes with no one watching him, yet he hadn't escaped and was calmly waiting for them.

This clearly indicated a plot!

As Tony hesitated to restrain him, remaining on full alert, Loki's lips curled into a mocking smile.

"What's this? The famous Iron Man is actually scared!"
