Chapter 27

After meeting with Fury and his group Peter and Alice immediately left the building and outside their cars were waiting for them.

Peter and Alice sit in the car drove out of the meeting place and just as they come out of their Space bridge open for them which will take them to New York where Peter has an interview with Daily Bugle.

After they entered the portal a video call come from Avalon. when they pick up the call Peter and Alice saw Jean and Felicia on the line.

Alice excitedly:" Hello Mama."

Felicia and Jean both smiled warmly and said in unison:" Hello honey."

Felicia asked:" Are you having fun there or would you like me to take you back."

Alice:" it's not that interesting as much as I thought it would be but it was interesting to see Dad giving a warning to uncles."

Felicia and Jean give Peter a meaningful look and Peter just shrugged his shoulder helplessly.

Felicia thought that it would be best to talk after Peter come back and said:" Ok if you decide to not come back then, please take care of yourself and if anyone tried to flirt with your Daddy then tell us okay."

Alice smile mischievously and said:" Okay."

Peter frowned and said:" Seriously, what are you teaching my angel behind my back."

Jean:" it's none of your concern, we are teaching her something which will help her in future."

Peter didn't say anything about this and just sighed before his face become serious and he said:" Ok, we will talk about meeting after I come back."

Jean and Felicia nodded and Peter cut the call. Alice in a happy tone asked.

Alice:" Where are we going, next Daddy."

Peter:" Oh, we are going to give someone many sleepless nights."

Alice didn't understand his words but as she doesn't have anything to do with it she didn't mind it and started thinking about something else.

Soon they all come in front of the office of Daily Bugle and many people were standing there to welcome them, Peter and Alice get of the car, many people greeted them and Peter greeted them back with a smile and politeness.

When they entered the building Peter notice that everyone here has a certain mix up of feeling between a little hate and anger while very much in awe for someone and he was the one they are targeted to.

Peter didn't mind it because the place he comes out of a few minutes ago was filled with people who hate him to the core.

A lady guides them to a very cosy room with two couches and tells them to wait for some time as J.J.Jameson is getting ready for the interview.

Peter smiled and said:" Okay, please tell him to do it faster I am not his client who would wait for him even an hour later." his tone was chilled.

The Lady nodded and hurriedly left the room and Alice started exploring the whole room with a bored expression and Peter just chuckled seeing her like this and After 5 minutes a person comes to take them to the studio.

They follow him and come to the studio where Peter saw Jameson sitting on a chair while wearing a suit which was more good looking than his normal suites which he wears while abusing Spiderman.

Peter smiled and come on the stage and sit on the chair opposite Jameson.

Jameson greeted him and Peter greeted him back but Peter clearly notices how tense he is right now because Peter used to come here to sell photos and all of you know how Jameson treated him but forgetting about it and focusing on his interview Jameson said:" Hello Everyone!, I am John Jonah Jameson is here to tell you about everything which is happening on earth and Today I am feeling very excited because right now I am sitting with The first king of Avalon Mr Peter Parker!."

Everyone in the studio clapped at his introduction and Jameson said:" Mr Parker, first of all, I would like to thank you for accepting our request for this interview."

Peter:" No I should thank you for inviting me and when I used to live in New York I always dreamed of the day when we will talk face to face like this."

Jameson:" Now you are being modest Mr Parker but I will still like to thank you."

Peter just nodded and Jameson continue to say:" So Mr Parker, I would like to ask about the Negotiation meeting which you attend before coming here how did it go."

Peter:" Sorry Mr Jameson, I can't leak the specifics of the meeting but I would like to tell all the people out there that Avalon won't continue the Negotiations if America didn't change their representatives."

Jameson:" I can understand that and by your tone can I guess that there are some unreasonable Statements from the US side."

Peter:" you could think of it as you want but the people who should understand this already understood my meaning."

Jameson:" Okay I understand this, I here have some questions from the people which we get and we choose the most interesting questions from them. I would like to ask you if you don't mind."

Peter:" I would try to satisfy people of the US as much as I could."

Jameson:" So the first question is, can you tell us about your life before becoming Enigma or what you used to do."

After hearing this question many heroes of this world have cold sweat on their forehead and they were eager to hear Peter answer the question.

Peter smiled and a gift box materialised in his hand and he said:" Actually I would like to answer this question at last and I wish you open this box that time, it is a gift I prepared for you."

Jameson's eyes got wide and he asked to confirm: "Did you bring me a gift?."

Peter:" Yes, after all, you work so hard to bring us fresh news and I appreciate your efforts."

Jameson accepted the gift and said:" Thank you, Mr Parker."

Peter smiled and said:" Don't mention it." he said this with a smile but inwardly he was grinning while thinking 'Your very soul will hate me after this.'

Putting the gift aside Jameson said:" Should we proceed to the next question Mr Parker."

Peter:" Of course please proceed as you wish."

Jameson:" So the second question is, The people want to know why did you attack Genosha even when you work as a hero."

Peter:" First of all, I would like to clear your confusion because SPADES never describe themselves as a hero so we were never one and as for why we attacked the Genosha because we wanted to free the Mutants who were being abused by the Genosha's Royale family."

Jameson:" If it was like that then why don't ask for the help of the Government."

Peter:" Because the government never wanted to help Mutants and let them live in harmony with humans. They already knew what was happening there but let it happen because it was giving them profit."

Jameson:" Mr Parker, you know you are making a big allegation on the government in front of the whole world."

Peter:" it is not an allegation and I have evidence to prove it but I am not obligated to show it and some people out there say that we as heroes have to answer them."

Jameson come in his usual tone and said:" So Mr Parker, are you trying to say that those monsters who call themselves heroes will destroy the property of civilians and won't even think that it is their right to get answers."

Peter:" so why don't they go and ask those questions to villains, I can even give you addresses of some of them but no, they won't ask them this question because they knew the moment those villains see them they will kill whoever comes in front of them."

Jameson:" that's why they give their love to heroes and heroes also get special privileges because of it."

Peter:" Love heroes you say, Maybe you are right actually people love heroes but you know what they love more, Seeing a hero fall fail, die trying despite everything we've done for them, they will eventually hate us and those special privileges you talk about, yes we got special privileges if you think your family being constantly in danger is a privilege." (AN:/ I hope you like it because I was constantly seeing this on Reels that's why I add it.)

Jameson was silent hearing his reply because he doesn't have everything to refute it and after being silent he said:" Mr Parker, I think I made my mind about heroes too early, so with this can we move to the next question."
