Chapter Five.

"So how has it been going with you?" Gabriel asked.

"Yeah things have been cool and you?" She replied and asked.

"I am happy with the way my life is going. I got no beef up with anyone as I love to be myself" Gabriel explained.

"Alright, what makes you think we would be happy in marriage with you bringing other ladies in?" She asked.

"Nah! I don't have issues with that. Listen, I love women and I can't go anywhere without a beautiful lady by my side. Therefore, you coming as my wife who's bound by a contract, should be ready to appreciate and endure my lifestyle because ladies in their wagons, must surely come. You know I'm a star and I can't pretend to have romantic feelings once I see a sexy damsel. It's either I get them, or they get me"He happily explained to Anabel.

Sharon thus, has fulfilled her promise of arranging a date for them and Anabel has got the opportunity to know the kind of dude she was getting married to. After accessing him, she concluded within herself that he's made a fool due to his parental upbringing and she wasn't ready to re-train a stupid fellow in marriage. While they conversed, Madam Sharon watched them from her room through her window and was happy that they were getting along.

Four hours later, they were done with their words with Sharon finally engaging them.

"I can see you dudes smiling" She teased.

"Yes Mom, we are. I mean, a lady will be happy being with me and I, would always be happy seeing a sexy woman by my side" He said.

While he speaks and makes gestures, Anabel begins to see a lively and honest part of Gabriel. She sees a friendly one who is always ready to be a loyal friend to anyone. She merged his character with his mother's and saw the similarities in them.

"People like this also fall in love with the devil. Damn, I have seen a prostitute billionaire who is shameless and proud of his reckless attitude" She muttered in her mind.

"Anyway, we have no time to waste. Just as we have agreed on, your marriage is coming up this week and three days precisely. We won't do it in a big or extravagant way as I wouldn't want it to appear or surface anywhere around the mass media. As we all know, it would be done in a law court and your loyalties are strictly needed to make it a conducive marital bliss" Sharon explained.

Their date finally ended, and Anabel was driven home by a security guard. She discussed their words with her father who urged her to prepare her mind for it.

"It's gonna be six months and after it, you vacate their home and make your life count by chasing your dreams to the full"John speaks words of encouragement to strengthen her.

Your mother is in a critical condition. She can't stretch or move parts of her body, and neither you nor your sister should trouble her with information concerning your marriage" He informed.

Two days later before her marriage, she went to the hospital to stay with Abigail and her sick mother. It pained her on what she was about to do but she had no other choice if not to proceed. For Anabel, success is important. She remembered the reason that took her to Sharon's office in the first place, and how the advice was given to them by her mother. Since then, she hasn't given feedback to her mom as a result of her accident.

However, since they agreed on seventeen million dollars with Sharon, and half of the money would be paid immediately she signed the contract marriage document; she and her father planned to use the five million dollars that were demanded by the doctor, for her surgery.

Also since Abigail is a studious person, she would be enrolled in the university to learn medicine. Her dad would also engage in the dream business of his choice.

Looking at her mother in her ail state as she sleeps, she hailed and encouraged Abigail before returning home for her marriage preparation.

"Do you take Gabriel Stone as your lawful wedded husband? To be in love in health, sickness, riches, and poverty? "The law administrator asked.

"Yes, I do"She respond.

The moment she signed their certificate, half of the million dollars was quickly delivered to her account and without hesitation, she received an alert for it.

The celebration was a success although, it was not made a public affair as only a handful of selected individuals were present as witnesses.

They were done with their celebration and departed to their destination. On the night of their marriage, Gabriel got what he wanted the most; to have her laid by his side. It was indeed a sweet night for him as he got to explore his sexual will as he wanted

The next day, Gabriel hosted a party to welcome her. Many of his musical compatriots and colleagues were present. Even on that day, he had many ladies flirting with him with two of his girlfriends Natasha Garcia and Christiana White who were more pronounced on him.

After the party, he took to his room and had his way as usual.

Anabel his new wife watched closely and was not surprised anyway.

"So these are the kinds of things I would be experiencing right? I know what to do"She thought in her mind.

'Thrim Thrim….

"Hello dear, I believe you are cool. "Mr. John asked through a phone call

"Yes Dad, it's well"She replied

"I called to let you know that your mother's surgery would be starting this evening" He informed me.

"Alright, Dad but I thought it was supposed to be in a day. "She asked.

"Yes it should but according to the Doctor, he needs to carry out an emergency operation to prevent a disorder. "He highlighted.

"It shall be well I believe" She prayed.

"Yeah, just wanted to keep you updated. Take care" He spoke as he ended the call.

Finally a few minutes after speaking with her dad, another call came in.

"Greetings, am I speaking with Lady Anabel? "He asked.

"Yes you are, and you are? " She asked.

"I am Cynthia, a cyber security professional".
