Hui Xiaojun paced back and forth with a grin stretched on his face knowing he has a secured inheritance because of his bride.

bride...

He shivered at that word. Being never a fan of commitments, he'd rather choose to lock himself up in his office than have a ring on his finger.

"Gē-- Jun Gē!!" His grin turned into a frown. Facing at the direction where the voice came from.

"You're pale." It is Xia, Xiaojun's trusted man.

"It's normal... But more importantly, that amazon just woke up and is causing damage!!"

Amazon? Xiaojun held in a laugh. He was never a happy person and him laughing will be the last thing people will see him do.

"Oh, you mean my bride?" He stated 'as-a-matter-of-fact'.

"What? What kind of bride is she?!"

There was a moment of silence.

"An Amazon woman."

--

Lana, who just woke up, started screaming and yelling at everything she sees. The large, white and gold door was locked. The windows were invincible! The room had a blank wall, a seat where she sat earlier, and a full-body length mirror.

"Excuse me, I don't want to spill any profanities but I might just do it if you don't open this fu--"

She halt. The doors opened and revealed a man. A nice man in a nice suit.

"You don't curse in a church, sweetheart."

Lana's mood worsen. "This face. This nightmare."

"Please don't face the mirror when you're talking to someone."

"Sorry not sorry, but my wedding--"

"Will start now." Xia gave him a smile. A mocking smirk that made Lana confused.

Before she could start bombarding him with questions, two women entered at forcefully made her sit. "The Groom's orders."

"Groom? Who?" Lana's eyes gaped at them. She thought it might be a dumb question, but still she wanted to make sure.

Xia, who's now leaning on the wall, sighed. "Why do you ask so many questions, woman?"

"What's going on?" Completely ignoring his question. She continued to side-eye the three people with her.

"You didn't hit your head, so... what's with the memory loss? Nevermind. All we know is you will be wed to Jun Gē."

Lana sighed. "Sorry. I'm not too familiar with his friends."

Xia's eyes twitched. Realizing that, indeed Xiaojun will get married. Today. "Be done at 5 minutes or so."

Xi Lana blanked out.

'Something seems strange...'

The already opened door, swung opened again and rays of light surrounded a figure standing in the middle.

"Xia said you were almost done. But to see is to believe."

First you were alone, second you were with three people and last you're alone again... with the man who claimed to be your 'soon-to-be-husband'. Lana grew red from anger.

"You're not the Jun I was expecting!" She shrieked.

Hui Xiaojun stepped closer to her and Lana inched back every time. "I'd tell you everything I know about that guy, but I don't want to make you cry on our wedding day."

Lana laughed exasperatedly, "Tell me about it. Now."

"I don't mind, but this wedding can't. I'll tell you everything. All of it." He held her wrist and carried her bridal style.
