Chapter 4 The Enchanted Forest

Dane see's Sura is drained he checks her wound black lines appear around the wound "it isn't infected and you're a vampire so it shouldn't be able to do that anyway."

Dane see's the lines are moving knows this is deaths touch this poison is extremely rare found in the poison of green dragons that are now gone.

Dane knows a way to remove the poison he has Sura sit down he runs to the river levitating a ball of water from it he then grabs some dirt he mixes it then starts to compress them and a bright flash of light of green emits out.

A small green leaf shaped crystal sits in Dane's hand Sura is looking horrible she is groaning in pain Dane rushes over Dane places the crystal in the wound.

Sura yells out in pain the crystal has vines wrap around the wound tightly Dane see's Sura lay down "that was painful what did you do?" Dane stands up he extends his hand out towards Sura helping her up "it's called a life crystal a druid taught me how to use water and dirt to create it."

"I got in the fight with a salamander that did a number on me I wasn't able to walk for a month the crystal helped."

Sura examines the vines "well I can stand and walk so that's a good thing" Sura and Dane start to walk again until they see an opening out of the cave the sunlight is blinding.

Dane's eye's adjust to the brightness to finally see a large forest ahead of them Sura looks around trying to find her sister Sura yelling out her sisters names Dane goes over to Sura.

"Hey hey we need to stay calm we don't know what is around and drawing attention okay we'll find Lilith she's resilient."

Sura looks around she sighs and nods "okay i hope you're right" Dane leads Sura down to the forest the dirt path is twisting around tree's the birds sing in the trees a few deers graze on a large bush of berries a few bunny's hop around the trees.

Sura smiles "this place is beautiful" Dane turns to Sura "this is an enchanted forest it's full of magic and mythical creatures." Dane continues on to hear a animal whimpering Dane follows the noise.

They follow the noise off the path to a large patch of grass a big grey wolf lays down its back leg has a bear trap clamped down. The wolf see's Dane and Sura the wolf gives them a low growl Dane walks over slowly the wolf watching his every move.

Dane gets close enough to see the damage "nothing is broken your a very lucky wolf" Sura looks at the wolf she walks over the wolf see's Sura walk over it's tail slightly wagging Dane turns his arms into stone he grabs the jaws of the trap and pulls them apart the wolf gets up.

Dane see's the wolf sit there looking at him it moves towards him and licks his face and sits next to him Dane scratches the wolf's neck Dane examines the wound "it's an easy fix." Dane places a hand on the wound and with a bright white flash the wound is healed.

Dane gets up with Sura at his side she looks at the wolf "can we have him please?" Dane crosses his arms looking at Sura giving him a cute face like what a child would when they want a pet.

"I don't know if we can take him" Sura rubs the ear of the wolf it's tongue hanging out and it's tail wagging seeming to love the ear rub "oh but look how cute he is" Dane chuckles "okay we can what will we call him?" Sura looks at the bright blue eyes the wolf has.

"How about blue" "that's not a bad name actually" Blue does a slight howl in agreement they continue on the path with Blue next to Dane they move for a while until night is setting in Sura looks at Dane "we need to rest it's late."

Dane looks at a clear patch of grass and a lake that has a small waterfall pouring water into the lake Dane grabs some sticks and stones and creates a fire Sura smiles at Blue who is laying next to her Dane kneels down by the pond seeing a bunch of fish swim around together Dane smiles and grabs three with his bare hands three big large fish.

Dane gives one to Blue he starts chopping down of the fish Dane puts the two fish on a stick and cooks them on the fire Sura sighs "by the gods my own bed and food even if I couldn't taste it it felt nice to fill my guts" Dane see's Sura watching the flames "I don't miss the court though everyone either trying to kill someone or trying to get some gossip."

They sit there in silence they finally eat the fish and they finish Dane is about to sleep Sura taps him on the shoulder she has a shy look on her face.

"Hey could...I sleep...next to you? it's cold." Dane see's Sura clear her throat Dane nods already nearly falling asleep he feels a warm feeling next to him Sura lays next to him she is asleep already Dane is quick as well.

The sunshines brightly Dane feels something wet touch his face he wakes up to see Blue sitting over him with wet fur he scratches the wolf's head he sits up to see Sura in the water she sees Dane and gives him a shy smile.

She beckons Dane over he walks over to see she's only wearing her underwear "you should join me it's nice and relaxing" Dane crosses his arms "I would enjoy it but it is too cold thank you very much."

Before he knows it Dane is grabbed by Sura and pulled in he is completely soaked he sits up from the water Sura sits on top of him she has a cheeky grin on her face she kisses him Dane holds Sura's body kissing her back they undress each other.

But then Sura wakes up she looks around confused it's still night time and she had her head resting on Dane's chest and his arm around her she feels her cheeks warming up she then feels something fluffy cuddling her she then see's Blue has squeezed between Sura and Dane.

Sura separates feeling confused why was she dream about Dane like that yes she has had sexy dreams with Dane in them but this one felt real.

She tries to go back to sleep but all she can feel is Dane's lips on hers she continues to lay there until she groans and turns to see Dane sleeping and as she does she feels her eye lids grow heavy and then she falls asleep.

Dane wakes up from the sun shining on his face he sits up yawning and notices Sura sits under the shade patting Blue she slightly smiles at Dane "ah hey buddy morning."

Dane looks at Sura "um morning?" Dane stands up Sura smacks her forehead "good work idiot" saying those words under her breath she stands up "hey...ah did you know have a weird dream last night by any chance.?"

Dane shakes his head "oh no you got pulled in by the forest I thought you knew about the forest magic okay this forest is pretty magical of course it is usually if someone sleeps in it the forest goes into the mind of the person and pulls out their desire or fantasy."

Sura blinks and stares at Dane "okay what in the name of all that is good what the hell." Dane looks at Sura "who did you dream about?" Sura starts panicking "I um was dreaming about..." Sura looks around and sees Blue "Blue?" Dane shrugs "okay."

He continues walking Sura looks at Dane confused "what you don't care about it?" Dane looks at Sura "you dreamt about Blue so what I'm not here to judge okay."

Sura scoffs "oh so what because I dreamt about you and me having sex is so bad huh....oh shit" Dane stops clearing his throat "oh okay hmm let's just um wow that came out of no where ah you wanna talk about it.?"

Sura with blushing cheeks pushes past Dane "nope I said too much and now I'm just gonna continue and stop myself from embarrassment even more."

Dane and Sura walk in silence Sura keeps giving Dane a glance while Dane has Blue walk by his side Dane stops grabbing Sura's arm gentle Sura looks at Dane.

"Look I'm not creeped out by you dreaming about me nor that you're a vampire I'm am actually flattered that you find that attractive just take a deep breath okay."

Sura is lost for words she takes a deep breath "okay first you are very attractive and who wouldn't think that you're like if an angel and a god had a baby second you've had multiple people dream about you."

Dane nods "there is a reason I don't read personal letters from anyone trust me there is enough lewd letters it would make a succubus blush and some creepy ones as well."

Sura puts up her hands "okay please stop I don't need to know that you've got a following." Dane continues on while Sura insults herself under her breath.
