Chapter 64: Surprise Encounter...

Sabaody Archipelago, Grandline:-

All areas on the Soap Bubble Island were now in a completely chaotic condition.

Because of the conflict between Luffy and Celestial Dragons, Celestial Dragons ordered assistance form Marine Headquarters.

There is no doubt that Marine Headquarter will soon visit this Pirate piled island. When the time comes, it is not that simple for Pirates to leave.

But before that, some Pirate thought that Marine Headquarter would not come.

Because before that, they got a blockbuster news from the latest newspaper: One of the Yonko Whitebeard's, second division Commander Fire Fist Ace is about to be publicly executed!

The Soap Bubble Island was very close to Marine Headquarters, so this news was first known to the people on the Soap Bubble Island.

Marine wants to execute Fire Fist Ace publicly. Obviously, this will attract Whitebeard, one of Yonko. When the time comes, Whitebeard and Marine Headquarters will face all-out confrontation.

But when Aokiji arrived there, most of the pirates had already left the island while some of them remained to watch the show.

Aokiji issued a search operation to find Luffy and his crew.

While every Pirate crew was busy in cursing Luffy for his recklessness, the said man was having a shopping spree with Yamato without any care about the world.

Yamato had no idea about this type of girly stuffs, so Luffy patiently explained her and bought some new ladies necessities like dress, make-up and ornaments etc.

Yamato was very happy as it was the first time someone spent so much time with her after her mother's death.

They went to Sabaody Park, some good restaurants and enjoyed their time together. After spending time with Yamato, Luffy found out that she was also a foodie like him.

After their little trip ended, Luffy dropped her at Shakky's bar and he went to collect some recent informations. As a result he finally received the confirmation news of Ace's execution.

Things went on normally as they do until he saw people started to flock into one direction,

" Quickly this way the Princess' of Dressrosa is coming! " A man spoke to his friends

" Yeah, let's go see them mom! " Said a young girl to her mother.

" I heard Viola's gorgeous. " A woman said to her husband.

" You can bet on that. " Another man exclaimed with a blush.

Luffy raised a brow at all the commotion.

' The Princess of Dressrosa? Viola On this side of the Grandline? But why is she here at such a chaotic time?? ' Luffy thought as he walked off in the other direction.

Luffy started to whistle to himself as he walked down a street completely devoid of people. He was on his way to head back to Shakky's bar when he bumped right into a hooded figure.

The hooded figure fell over from the resulting collision right on top of Luffy. So Luffy also fell back.

" I-I'm sorry sir! I-I wasn't watching where I was going! " The figure spoke to Luffy.

Luffy immediately recognized that the voice was feminine, so he got up moving the woman over and offered her a hand, which the hooded woman nervously took.

" May I ask your name miss? " Luffy asked in a gentleman type attitude.

" R-Rebecca! I-I mean Rebecca, the Princess of Dressrosa. " She told him as she removed the hood of her cloak revealing the pink-haired beauty who had a deep blush on her face

' Fuck me...i met here this early. Looks like we are fated to meet each other. '

Luffy offered a comforting smile, " Well may I ask why the Princess of Dressrosa is all the way on this side of the Sabaody market and not with her guards? Would it perhaps means that you are lost? "

The Princess puffed her cheeks, " I am not lost! I merely wandered off away from my aunt to have a little time away from being a Princess and that's all. Besides my aunt is here, so she can handle those official stuffs. "

" I see I see. So you're an irresponsible princess. " Luffy said.

" I AM NOT! " Rebecca yelled.

This sudden outburst caused the nearby Marines to find the two at the street corner. Looking around him, Luffy saw Marines were coming at him from all directions causing him to sigh.

" Is that Dragon King Luffy!? "

" It is him! Let's inform the Admiral. "

" He captured the Princess! "

Luffy was getting ready to get away when he heard a faint voice, " Take me with you. " Rebecca said.

He looked back at Rebecca who had told him to take her with him. His first thought was absolutely not under no circumstance would she be able to accompany him, she was probably just interested in spending some time from her family.

Luffy then smirked, " So adventure is what you want eh. "

The young man then picked up Rebecca in bridal style and ran off into the distance with her. Luffy easily managed to outmaneuver several Marines and ditch a few others before he arrived in an area that had no Government presence what-so-ever. Dropping her off he then started to walk away.

" W-wait Luffy! Where are you going? " She spoke.

Luffy looked over his shoulder, " What do you mean, where am I going. I'm going back to my friend's house and I'm going to take a nap. "

Rebecca continued, " But what about me? "

Luffy laughed to himself, " I don't know, go explore, go for a swim, skip a pebble for all I care. All I know is that I'm out. "

The young woman frowned at this, " B-but I was hoping that I-I could spend some time with y-you. "

The man then turned right around and started to walk towards Rebecca before she was right in front of him and spoke, " And why me huh? I bet you could go anywhere on this island and people would throw themselves at you if you asked to spend time with them. So why me? "

She then swallowed, " Because you're different from the rest. "

Luffy's brow went up as he lowered his head so that it was at the same level as hers, " And how am I different exactly? "

Almost like a switch turned she started to get a little red as she saw him so close to her, "I-it's hard to put into words, b-but you just are."

** Hey kid, why are you acting like a gentleman when you are just a pervert. ,**

' Shut up. I am not a pervert and i am just testing the water. '

Luffy then let out a sigh, " So be it, c'mon Rebecca it's getting late we might as well start a fire. " The pink-haired girl then smiled as she ran off behind her new companion.

An hour later. . .

Both Luffy and Rebecca had set up a fire and sat at either side of it and started to tell each other stories about themselves wether it be of the good times they've both had good or bad times.

Rebecca shared the times she had around the kingdom of Dressrosa, pulling practical jokes on the guards and unfortunate people to cross her path.

These stories continued until Luffy said something that wasn't a part of story, " Hey Rebecca if I may ask why are you and your aunt here in Sabaody? "

Rebecca's previous smile then turned into a frown, " You promise not to speak a word of this to anyone. "

Luffy just smiled, " What do you mean Rebecca I hardly think that someone would really care for the reason tha-"

" DO YOU PROMISE! " She yelled

Luffy just held his hands up in the air, " Ok ok I promise."

Rebecca then sighed and started to speak, " It all started a while ago when a man and his crew came to our city. . ."

Rebecca then went on to tell Luffy how Doflamingo had her mother killed in cold blood and how he now manipulated her grandfather into commanding his armies into doing what the pirate wanted.

She then continued to speak about how Rebecca and her aunt had been sent off to go make an alliances in Sabaody so that they might have someone come back with them to Dressrosa and defeat Doflamingo.

" I see. " Was all Luffy managed to get out of his mouth as he couldn't tell her the terror of Doflamingo and the obvious result of their foolish alliance plan.

Rebecca shed a few tears, " He only keeps us around so that when the time comes he can show his true colours as the leader of Dressrosa and kill the royal family. "

Luffy then got up off his seat at the under side of the fire and walked over to Rebecca. The woman looked up at him with her swollen eyes, red from crying. Luffy, without warning, fell on to both of his knees and pulled Rebecca close to him.

She was shocked at first but then began to push herself into his chest more and more after each passing second. In his arms, she thought, the world didn't seem so bad and things seemed to be a lot better.

Luffy then pushed himself back a little bit and looked her right in the eye before speaking, " I promise Rebecca. I promise that I'll return to Dressrosa and take down Doflamingo, once and for all. "

So it was the moment when the seed of discord had been planted between Luffy and Doflamingo.

Then Luffy spent some time with her and only left after he got a call from Robin. He escorted her towards her inn and bid farewell.
