Chapter 74- Destruction

The Five Elders sat in their chairs discussing things as usual, when they heard shouts and sounds of battle from outside. {I'll put a picture of them here since I really don't want to write an essay describing them all. If I forget by any chance, please remind me.}

"What's going o-" An elders exclaimed before desperately dodging to the side after sensing something with his Observation Haki.

*BOOM*

A loud noise was heard as a tall man stood where the elder was not a moment ago. "Gurarara! It seems you still have some ability!" Whitebeard laughed as Luffy and Shanks landed on both his sides. "What is the meaning of th-" A bald elder with a samurai sword questioned, but he couldn't finish his sentence before Luffy launched a punch at his face. "Not in the mood to monolog right now, thank you," Luffy joked as the elder was shot back through the wall.

Without a second to spare, each of the men chose an opponent to fight. The bald elder teleported behind Luffy with his Haki-clad sword above his head, while the relatively young blond elder appeared in front of Luffy with his palm stretched open and compressed air bullets shooting forward from it.

Luffy sidestepped easily, making the blad elder's sword clash with the air bullets. Making use of the split second that the two clashed, Luffy shot a sidekick at the sword elder's ribcage, but the elder teleported away just before the kick hit him and he reappeared above Luffy with an ax kick ready. Luffy jumped back, but he suddenly couldn't breathe as the blond elder moved all the air away from Luffy's surroundings. 'The Air-Air fruit, huh? That damned Logia is so broken...' Luffy complained before he sprung to the blond elder, delivering a strong punch with his fist covered in Haki. The elder raised his hand to block the hit, but in doing so he lost his concentration, and the vacuum he created returned to normal. The blade elder quickly shot at Luffy's back, with his blade aimed at his heart in a stabbing motion. Luffy smirked as he crouched, making the elder's blade head towards his comrade's chest.

The blade elder teleported immediately, but due to the urgency of the situation, he teleported randomly. Luffy, however, knew exactly where he'd end up due to his future sight. Luffy used Soru to arrive at the blade elder's location instantly, and before the elder could react Luffy punched his solar plexus with a tremendous amount of force, making him collapse to the ground, unable to breathe.

The blond elder tried to throw Luffy to the side by manipulating the air for a telekinetic-like attack. However, Luffy stood his ground as he needed to utilize the time period that the blade elder couldn't teleport. Luffy brought his leg up at lightning speed and brought down a devastating ax kick on the blade elder's head, breaking his skull. But when he tried to stabilize himself after performing the kick, the blond elder struck again with his telekinetic-like attack as Luffy was flung far into the sky. While flying up, however, Luffy saw that Shanks and Whitebeard were handling their elders quite well, so he focused on his fight.

The blond elder flew up, his suit fluttering in the wind while revealing the big scar across his chest. The elder waved his hand as giant tornados were summoned to wreak havoc. Luffy tried to fly towards the elder, but he could barely stay in place with all the tornados pulling him in different directions. "You're in my domain now, Straw Hat!" The elder spoke as he waved his hand again. Luffy suddenly felt that the air in his lungs was going wild, ripping his lungs apart. Luckily, Luffy reacted instantly as he covered the inside of his lungs with Haki, blocking the attack before any substantial damage could occur. "I'm impressed, you're the first that managed to survive that attack. But how about this?" The elder asked as he snapped his fingers.

Suddenly a huge vacuum was created as air retreated from the space. The vacuum spread across a couple of kilometers, making Luffy unable to breathe while the elder skillfully controlled some of the air into an air pocket for himself. In the vacuum, Luffy couldn't fly since he didn't have any air to bounce off of and fly like how he usually does. As a result, Luffy began to fall down. The elder knew Luffy would fall outside his vacuum before suffocating since his lungs stretched out incredibly far at the last second, making them contain enough air for Luffy to fall for hours. However, that didn't mean he didn't have a plan.

Nature abhors a vacuum, literally. So the elder simply allowed the air to return, and the air rushed back with a huge force towards Luffy. Luffy was being bombarded from all sides by harsh winds and air currents without brake, and his only choice was to cover himself with Haki and wait it out. "As expected of an Emperor, you sure can handle some punishment." The elder said in an impressed tone after a couple of minutes when the winds subsided. "Yeah, I'm not usually on the side that receives the beatings, how about we change that?" Luffy asked as he shot forward so fast even the elder could barely see him.

Luffy arrived in front of the elder before the latter could even blink and punched him in the gut, making the elder bend forward and spit blood. The elder tried to fly away, but Luffy caught his face before he escaped. The elder tried to push Luffy away with severe winds and compressed air bullets, but Luffy simply hardened his skin with his monstrous Haki and continued to throw fist after fist at the elder's chest. The elder tried to choke Luffy with a vacuum again, but Luffy saw it with his future sight and he expanded his lungs to hold massive amounts of air. After a minute or so, the elder fell unconscious. The two fell down, but while Luffy could fly to safety, the elder crashed onto the streets of Mary Geoise with a sickening *Splat* noise.

"Finally done?" Whitebeard asked Luffy as the former was sitting on the ruined chair of the elders, with two dead bodies at his feet. "Talk as much as you like, at least I'm not covered in my own blood right now," Luffy responded to the bloodied Whitebeard. "Gurarara! You got me there! Let's go, I contacted Fujitora and gave him the signal, it's time for the show," Whitebeard laughed as the three emperors casually walked out of the destroyed building.
