A DATE?

CHAPTER-8

"Should we order some drinks?" Chris looks at Joy.

" Yes" replied all.

This time Rishika found the right person and grabbed him " Hue… you..Hue.. stay with me okay!! I need to tell you a secret"

"And what that would be?"

"I didn't tell you this but you know Yumi, that one the one who is wearing that white dress.. She pointed at the person sitting next to her… i think she likes you.. Like a lot" she whispered this to him.

Hue couldn't control his excitement and looked at Yumi with 'I'M SO HAPPY' look.

In all of these Felix was staring at Rishika with a great interest and each time she did something, he smiled. It looked like he was looking at his beloved. Just then she noticed him and he froze.

"Heyyyy! You look soo cuteeeee. Where have i seen you before?" she asked as she made her way to him.

"Hi. I'm Felix.. Hue's friend." he pointed and smiled

" Right..hehe" she giggled.

They were all having fun when Hue moved towards Yumi.

" Can we talk?"

"Ya.. sure"

"Outside?"

"Mmmm"

They got up and left the room.

~Rooftop~

After being awkwardly silent for few minutes, Hue decides to finally break the silence..

"Miss Hedgur…, about earlier..what your friend said,is it right?"

"Huh! Umm..well..yes kinda right.." Yumi went all red as she was blushing really hard. Her ears and cheeks were super red and she was unable to hold her smile. She tried to look into Hue's eye but that awkward confession made it impossible for her.

Hue felt that awkwardness Yumi was going through, so he gently placed his palm on her face and brings her face closer to him.

"Yumi! Let me tell you something, what happened that day between you and me, you might be thinking it was out of a momentarily reflex. But to be honest, that wasn't something i would do out of a moment reflex. If you can give me a chance, i can prove that to you."

Yumi looks into his eyes, after looking at him for few seconds she smiles and says, "Sunday. 2:00 PM." and looks away ,down the rooftop.

" I'm a bit confused Yumi..what are you talking about?"

"If i didn't get it wrong... you asked me out for date right? So that's my reply. A yes and a date."

Hue was both shocked and happy at the same moment. He just smiles and looks at Yumi. She was peeping down the rooftop and her hairs were covering her cheeks because of the wind.

Hue turns towards her and gently slides her hair behind her ears and pulls Yumi towards him.

Hue holds Yumi's face and she looks into his eyes. His eyes were filled with love and affection for her. They were deeply immersed into each other's eyes. Hue then gently pulls Yumi closer to him and brushes his hands on her cheeks slowly making a progress towards her neck. Yumi places her hand on Hue's shoulder and comes closer to him. Yumi then gives a peck on his lips and moves back when Hue holds her waist tightly and pulls her closer and places his lips on her passionately.

It was at that moment they felt everything was right and it was meant to be.. that kiss felt necessary to them.. it felt magical.. it was real to them. Which suddenly got interrupted when Joy and Chris appeared out of nowhere.

"Hey Yumi!..ooh oops ..guess we came at the wrong timing." Joy said in a teasing tone.

"They all are looking for you guys.. Let's go." Chris said while trying to avoid the shyness and left with Joy who was still giggling at the newly confessed admirers.

Yumi and Hue stepped back a bit and smiled at each other.

"Let's go." Hue says holding Yumi's hand and they leave to the room where their friends were waiting for them.
