The elevator door slid open and the two teenagers walked out. Bai Xi Xi glanced at the nurse's station and saw a few familiar faces.
As she can be considered a frequent visitor to the department, everyone was now familiar with her.
The nurse at the station greeted her politely before announcing that her brother was meeting with a patient's family. However, she was free to wait for her brother in his office.
Bai Xi Xi thanked the nurse and planned to wait for her brother in his office since his meeting would not take too long.
Just as she was about to say a few words to Fu Chen before she leave, the sound of footsteps approached.
Fu Chen looked up and saw his father walking over. He suddenly recalled their conversation a few days ago upon seeing how his father was looking at him and Bai Xi Xi.
"Hello, uncle." Bai Xi Xi recognized the older man as Fu Chen's father and quickly greeted him.
