" Sir, she came here to meet you" the receptionist informed that person.

Then I understood, he was none other than Mr. Karthik, managing director of the company….

I felt so embarrassed to face him due to a previous encounter in the lift. I unsteadily walked inside his cabin.

" Good morning sir" I greeted him with hesitation.

" Good morning Miss" he replied with a cold expression.

" So you are here to know my preferences to arrange our event," he asked.

" Yes, sir" I answered in low voice.

" Okay then, can you come again at 5.30 pm. I have to attend a conference meeting" he asked me.

As I have no other option, I nodded my head as yes.

" Good, meet you in the evening, " he said.

" Thank you," I said and returned to our office.

I didn't understand, it takes hardly 20 minutes to tell his taste and preferences but unnecessarily he asked me to come again.

I am so tired of traveling as it took one and a half hours from my office to his company. The receptionist asked me to wait more than half an hour. I was waiting to meet him but he left hurriedly.

" Don't he have a minimum responsibility to inform the person who he gave appointment? Can't he see, I came to meet him a second time on the same day " I cursed him in my mind.

I thought he was a gentleman but no I was wrong. He has no principles. I was waiting for him but he left without informing me.

" Egoistic person " I murmured myself.

I was stuck in traffic and reached my hostel at around 8.30 pm. My stars were not good I thought. I have no energy to have dinner. I changed my dress into comfy clothes and cuddled in bed.

****One week later**

I got busy with other client and their appointments. After joining the office, I have to meet different clients, almost everyone I used to meet is rich people. I noticed a common thing in them, they have no respect or concern for the people who are working under them.

Again after one week, we got a call from Mr. Karthik's company to meet. This time I don't want to go, so I requested one of my colleagues to meet him.

I hate people who are arrogant and have no principles.

My colleague went to meet him but he denied meeting him. Instead, he wanted me to come to sign the documents on the agreement between our company and his. I don't know what problem he was having.

As I have no other option, I again went to meet Mr. Karthik.

" I hate people you leave the work in the middle," he said glaring at me angrily.

" I too hate people who don't have the minimum courtesy to inform about the postponement of their program" I replied with the same glare.

" Do you whom you are talking with?" he asked furiously.

" yes, I know, the self-centric person who doesn't care about others" I answered.

" Behave properly with the clients, I can give this event management to the other event management company" he stood up from his chair.

" What else you can do other than that. So you asked me to come near to tell this unnecessary thing " I looked sharply.

" I don't want to disappoint my friend, Arvind. I will teach you how to behave with clients very soon. Give those agreement papers, I will sign it" he grabbed the file from my hands forcibly. 

He signed those papers and threw the file on his work table.

" I don't tell you my taste or any preferences. But you have to plan according to my tastes and all my guests should be impressed with it. Or else you have to lose your job" he warned in a stern voice.

" I take this as a challenge, if I lose I will learn a lesson, and if you lose what will you do?" I asked with a challenging tone.

" Whatever you say?" he said assertively.

" ok then, I accept your challenge. Thank you, sir" I greeted and returned to the office.

I never spoke to anyone rudely. I only took my angry on my close friends Vamshi and Shreya. I don't know why I blurted out my anger on him.

I returned to my office with the signed agreement papers and sat quietly on the table.

The people, I am working with are very humble and friendly. Even our Boss's son treats me as a sister. How can Arvind Anna( boss son) do friendship with that arrogant person?

I come out from my chain of thought with Arvind's voice.

" Hi, Anna(brother)" I greeted him.

" I think you are in deep thought" he smirked.

" Nothing like that" I replied casually.

" I heard that Karthi and you fought in office" he raised his eyebrow.

" Nothing like that" I replied turning my eyes in another direction.

" I think you both had a misunderstanding. He is a very nice guy and a kind person" he said.

" I don't want his conduct certificate. He is so arrogant and self-centric person. Don't defend your so-called friend" I said with a serious face.

" Okay, leave it," he said.

" I need your help, Anna," I asked with pleading eyes.

" What?" he questioned

" I have to plan an event for him, so I want to know his interests. Can you help me with my work? please ....." I requested.

" Sure, why not," he assured me.

I noted every point which helps to arrange an event to impress that strong-headed person. I have no other option as I challenged him and I have to win it. But on the other side, I strongly feel even if all the arrangements are good he will not appreciate it. I have only two days, I was busy with the arrangements.

I expressed the same feeling to Arvind Anna. He laughed listening to my words. I got irritated with Anna's behavior.

" Why are you laughing?" I looked seriously.

" So you framed my friend as an arrogant person " he laughed again.
