Secret Chamber

"Grandfather, I know you care for her, but this is something that we cannot interfere with. Even if you already consider her as your own granddaughter, this is their family affairs. If you are planning to hide her, you are only putting yourself in a difficult situation. Whatever you do, her brothers will still be able to find her."

Lou ShenRu didn't give Elder Quin a chance to say anything."I know you promised their mother to look after her and Yu Min, but they also have a father, and he has the right to decide what's best for his children."

Elder Quin sighed. He doesn't want to let go but what can he do? He understands that there's nothing he can do to prevent YuYan's brothers from taking her away.

"If that's the case, then follow me." The old man faintly speaks before he stood up and starts to walk towards the stairs.

Lou ShenRu raised his Eyebrow. He is confused about what the old man meant. He tried to understand, but he has no inkling at all.

He followed the old man's steps. They reached the second floor, passed through the wide space full of antique things. Swords, old books, accessories, old stones with a word engraved in it; but Lou ShenRu had no idea what it means.

Lou ShenRu is Elder Quin's only grandson. The old man taught him everything he knows, but there are still things that Lou ShenRu hasn't learned yet.

After passing three doors, Elder Quin and Lou ShenRu entered a room that has nothing but paintings everywhere. They reached the corner of the room and came to stop in front of a huge painting.

It is hanging alone separately on this wall. If there was a stone below it, Lou ShenRu would think that this is an altar for worship.

Examining the place where they are heading, Lou ShenRu who still had a big question mark in his head continued following silently. He has no idea why the old man brought him in that room and they ended up standing in front of the weird painting.

Lou ShenRu looked at the painting, it was a woman with exquisite looks. She has a long red hair fluttering in the wind, a pair of scarlet eyes, beautiful eyebrows, long eyelashes, high nose and a red lip with a drip of blood down to her chin like a vampire who had just finished her meal.

Looking at her, gave birth to a feeling that she is a high and majestic being. Her beauty is like a fairy while her posture is like a goddess looking down, mocking everyone.

The curves of her body is very visible in her red robes. Such a perfect body will tempt any man to eat her alive.

She is holding a sword full of blood. Beneath her feet are what looked like dead demons and humans but no one could ever guess if they were bitten or merely killed.

Out of nowhere, Lou ShenRu didn't know why but he felt like he has seen her before. Unfortunately, he cannot remember where. Although he is sure that he has never been to this room before.

Elder Quin pushed some bricks around the painting's edge. Suddenly a loud "click" sounded and the wall is divided and opened a thick door.

Lou ShenRu: "..."

Lou ShenRu's face turned gloomy, complaining in his mind. 'Secret Chamber? Is this where this little girl has been hiding whenever she runs away? How come I never knew about this place? This old man sure is still hiding a lot of things from me!'

After the door is opened, there is a narrow hall with stairs leading deep down somewhere. Lou ShenRu continued to follow the path. There was a chamber that came to sight after reaching the bottom.

Scanning the place, there was a pearl like lightning illuminating the place. Enough to see everything. There's this feeling like it is an enchanting place. The walls looks like it is made of jade.

When Lou ShenRu looked around, he saw a huge bed that appears to be an antique based on how it looks. There are carvings of unknown words. It is difficult to understand because of the red screen hanging around it. Preventing anyone to see what's inside.

Examining how the bed is built, the appearance is like it was made to be used by the highest and most powerful person. Lou ShenRu does not understand why but he starts to feel very nervous.

A voice suddenly rang in Lou ShenRu's ears. He was shocked, he almost jumped in fear. His heart almost stopped beating.
