Chapter 4 : Offering a deal.

Third person point of view

Junkyu was dumbfounded. He didn't know he would question his own hearing ability this many times in just a few hours into the day. Haruto repeated it again. " I want you to be my fake lover and I wouldn't mind whatever conditions you put forward in order for you to do that ". Junkyu felt contemplated and confused.

" I am sorry but do you care to explain it properly. What does any of that got to do with this ? " Junkyu was starting to get irritated now. " Do you really not remember who the one in the pictures along with you is ? " Haruto asked and went back to his file. " Wha- " The scene from the previous night suddenly flashed in Junkyu's mind and paused.

He remembered and looked up at Haruto. His eyes went wide in shock. " It was YOU ? " Haruto smiled. " You finally remember ". It was indeed Haruto. He went out at night so that he could get some fresh air and spent some time with his friends. He then went to the convenience store to get something, but unexpectedly he stumbled upon Junkyu.

He helped him seeing Junkyu was drunk and was about to fall. He made sure he went back safely and left after buying what he wanted without much thought. Who would've thought that the next morning, he would get caught in a scandal with that someone ? No one knew it was him, but he clearly knew that it was himself in the photos.

He didn't even care about it when he saw it on the news in the morning. But suddenly an idea popped to his mind. His parents were pestering him about getting a lover or that they were going to set up blind dates with people he never met or even worse; they will get him engaged to someone of their choice. He was definitely not fond of their ideas.

And he wasn't able to avoid it these days like he did before. His mom warned him that she has started to look for people for him to meet. So he decided to use this scandal and make sure he can escape that at least for a few years if he can get the plan to work. He immediately took action and contacted Junkyu.

" What does that got to do with this ? What are you even saying ? You are not even the one who is being accused so why are you asking me to be your lover because of that scandal ? Does it even make any sense ? " Junkyu asked not understanding how these two things got linked. He didn't know why Haruto wanted to do this.

They could just take it down and it would be over. " Since we got caught in a scandal, we can just make it look like it was true. I want my parents to stop pestering me. So be my lover for a while and then we can break up ". Haruto was speaking like it was the most normal thing to do. " What are you even saying ? Do you hear yourself ? "

Junkyu was mad but Haruto was not raged in the slightest. " I can hear very well and I know what I am speaking very clearly ". He answered coolly. " You clearly don't. Why are you even expecting things like this ? " But Junkyu was angry, for real. " Wouldn't it be a good deal ? " " Deal ? " Junkyu asked finding it ridiculous.

" Besides this, there are some privileges you will get; some as my lover and some from my company's side too. It is definitely a good opportunity for you ". Junkyu frowned. He got up from the seat and started pacing back and forth. He had to first calm down a little and then wrap his head around this whole situation.

Haruto got back to his files leaving Junkyu to think for himself. " What are you being so calm for after saying all of those things ? " Junkyu asked when he saw Haruto who was cool as a cucumber. " I have things to do and I don't think there is anything to panic about ". Haruto answered still not looking up.

" Are you not even finding it ridiculous ? " Haruto didn't reply to that question. Junkyu stomped and sat down. " Why are you giving me this offer ? " " Because I want to ". Junkyu let out a sigh. " I mean... you can always find some solution since you knew to escape it till now. Or you can find someone else instead of me. So what is it this time ? "

Junkyu asked not knowing why it was him. " The start has already happened. It was that incident and the scandal. I just want to use what I already have and it is easier than me trying to look for someone or find some other solution. Also who knew that two of us would who are almost of two different worlds, would cross paths. If we get it done, there are lower chances we would ever meet again. Don't you think so ? "

Junkyu stared at Haruto in disbelief. " What if I don't agree to it ? " Haruto looked up and smiled at Junkyu's question. " You can. But you wouldn't want your scandal to get crazier now, do you ? " Junkyu stared back with an unwavering gaze. " You already decided to convince me, didn't you ? " Haruto continued to smile and went back to his file.

Junkyu looked away and huffed. He took a deep breath. " I will let you know in a while ". He got up from the chair. Haruto nodded. " Take your time ". " I will take my leave ". Haruto nodded and Junkyu left the room. He walked out and saw Jihoon and Hyunsuk waiting along with Yoshi. They were sitting in the lounge.

The three of them walked up to him. " What happened ? " Jihoon was the first one to ask. Junkyu didn't answer right away. " Let's go back for now and we will discuss it there ". Jihoon and Hyunsuk looked at each other. They nodded and said their byes to Yoshi and the three of them walked out of there to go back to their office.

Yoshi went to Haruto after they left. " What happened sir ? " Haruto looked up with a small smile. " Nothing ". Yoshi nodded not so sure. " Do I have any meetings today ? " Yoshi shook his head. " None for today ". Haruto nodded. " Also they might call back in a while, so make sure to arrange everything like I told you ". Yoshi nodded and left the room.
