Chapter 10: Taking Down The 4th Affiliate

Jin-Ho furrowed his brow, trying to grasp the intricacies of Daniel's plan.

"Who are we gonna take down?" he inquired, his voice tinged with a mix of curiosity and determination.

Daniel's expression hardened, his gaze focused as he outlined their next move.

"We will try to take down the 4th Affiliate... I've got a plan," he revealed cryptically, his tone brimming with confidence.

Taeyoung leaned in, his curiosity piqued. "What is it?" he pressed, eager to learn more about Daniel's strategy.

Daniel hesitated for a moment before elaborating, his voice low and measured.

"I've got a friend of mine who is kind of a famous YouTuber," he explained, his words carrying a sense of significance.

Jin-Ho raised an eyebrow, struggling to see the connection.

"I really don't understand... Why do we need a famous guy?" he questioned, his confusion evident in his tone.

Daniel's eyes gleamed with determination as he clarified the situation.

"The 4th Affiliate is One MCN. They have been collecting those who are beneficial for them. A famous guy, like my friend, his audience is growing at light speed. So, he tells me that he also got a contact from the One MCN," he revealed, a sense of urgency creeping into his voice.

Jin-Ho's eyes widened in realization. "So? What are you trying to do now?" he prompted, his interest piqued by the unfolding plan.

Daniel exhaled slowly, his mind already formulating their next steps.

"This guy has my full trust. He will try to gather as much information as possible. But if something strange happens, we will take action," he declared, his voice filled with conviction.

"For now, you guys can do whatever you want. I will call you if something happens," Daniel concluded, his words resonating with a sense of purpose as he prepared to set his plan in motion.

Jin-Ho nodded, acknowledging Taeyoung's point. "I guess I need to go now," he remarked, glancing at his watch.

"Inform us if you get the information you need. Also, nice meeting you, Daniel Park," he added, extending a hand toward Daniel.

Daniel reciprocated the gesture with a firm handshake.

"Yeah, me too. I need to train for the upcoming events so I can be an even more powerful force," Taeyoung chimed in, his voice laced with determination.

"Alright, take care both of you," Daniel said with a nod as Jin-Ho and Taeyoung made their way out.

As they parted ways, Jin-Ho returned to his daily routine, spending time with his mom and occasionally training to keep himself in shape.

Meanwhile, Taeyoung delved deeper into his training regimen, honing his skills in preparation for whatever challenges lay ahead.

Days turned into weeks, and Jin-Ho couldn't shake the feeling of anticipation regarding Daniel's call.

"When is Daniel going to call us? It's been almost a month now," he voiced his concern to Taeyoung one day.

"Wait just a little bit more," Taeyoung reassured him, though even he couldn't hide a hint of frustration. "I think he's trying to figure out how to infiltrate the 4th Affiliate."

Jin-Ho sighed, realizing the complexities of their situation.

"So, that takes a month, huh?" he mused, a touch of impatience creeping into his voice.

Taeyoung shot him a knowing look.

"Yes, Or even more than that. You couldn't just go maniac and start attacking One MCN. You could get yourself arrested," he reminded Jin-Ho, emphasizing the importance of caution in their endeavors.

While talking to Jin-Ho, Taeyoung receive a phone call.

Taeyoung's expression shifted as he spoke with Jin-Ho, his eyebrows furrowing in concern. "Oh, look who it is," Taeyoung remarked, glancing at Jin-Ho. "We were just talking about him."

Jin-Ho raised an eyebrow inquisitively. "Daniel?" he questioned, a hint of amusement lacing his tone.

Taeyoung nodded, answering the call.

As Taeyoung relayed Daniel's message to Jin-Ho, the latter's expression turned grave, absorbing the gravity of the situation. "Locked for life? Forced to stream?"

Jin-Ho echoed, his mind racing to comprehend the sinister implications of the contract.

Daniel's voice crackled through the phone, delivering a chilling account of the company's deceptive practices. "And because you signed the contract, it means you're agreeing to them,"

Daniel explained, his tone weighted with frustration. "Now you couldn't do anything about it."

Taeyoung nodded in understanding, his features contorted with a mix of shock and anger. "That's so..." he trailed off, struggling to find the right words to express his disbelief.

"Yeah, is Jin-Ho there with you?" Daniel's voice interrupted, pulling them back into the conversation.

Taeyoung glanced at Jin-Ho, confirming his presence. "Yes, he's with me," he replied, his voice tinged with apprehension. "We were just getting back from home after school."

"Come to my location, I'll send it to you," Daniel instructed.

"Alright, we'll be there," Taeyoung confirmed, his mind already racing with plans for their next move.
