Longwei was now sitting in the room that they shared with their mother. The room is big enough for ten people but it has no furniture or anything luxurious. WuQin empire is like a country in a continent called Jaebon, So Wutan is like a state and the city longwei and his family live in is called Baijin. Longwei and his sister were considered the most handsome and beautiful children in the entire Baijin. People love them but they never know what they're going through in their family. Whenever there is a family celebration or some kind of event that they need to attend, his bastard of a father all makes them consume some kind of pill that will keep their body healthy but for only a day. The pill will get rid of their tanned skin and their bony figures. He doesn't want people to point fingers at him saying that he isn't a good father. Well he isn't a good father but a terrible father.

Longwei wanted to talk to his mother about something important so when she heard that it was important, she brought him to the room to talk about it. Longwei is now sitting across his mother crossed legged one the floor.

He looks at his mother and said with a hint of worry in his voice " Mom... I think something is wrong with me and Xinyi"

Mother Xu look at her son with an anxious face. "Are... You sick? What's wrong with you? Wait here, let me call a physician to come and check your health"

"No mother. I'm fine"

"R-Really!"

"Yes!"

Mother Xu heaved a deep sigh of relief when she heard him confirming that he was okay. She was scared that he has contracted a disease or some kind of illness. If that happens then she will have to beg her ungrateful husband and he might take this chance to throw her out of the house since she owes him something.

" What I mean is, well I can talk to animals"

"well honey that isn't so bad. I thought that it was something more serious"

"No mom, I mean that I can have a full conversation with them. It's really crazy!"

'Could he be... But It's sealed how is that even possible. No if he fully unsealed it then, this cruel people would hunt him and kill him just to get his core and cultivate' his mother dazed into space while thinking, seeing this longwei shook her a little as he called out her name "Mom what's wrong? Mom, mom"

"Uh... Sorry honey. But I want you to promise me to never use that power of yours in public!"

"Xinyi has them too. Oh my!! I will tell you when the time is right"

Longwei look at his mother's eyes for a while before he said "okay"

Xinyi was now rubbing her hands together as she smiled evilly. Her half eaten apple has fall on the ground but she doesn't care, she will make sure that this brother duo will get in trouble and then the family would lose face. I mean you can't blame her, it's not her family that will lose face because her family is her mother and brother, no one else.

Longwei came out to look for his sister when he saw her sneaking around and following Xu Chao and Xu ming.

He followed her and when she hid behind a Bush, he also hid behind a Bush, startling her in the process.

"Brother what are you doing here? You startled me, you know!" Xinyi said while pouting but her eyes never left the brothers that were walking on the streets, far away from the place they were hiding at.

" Were following those two foolish brothers. We're going to grandma's and grandpa's house. Hm... Can you ask a bird to watch them for us from the air while we follow them on land"

"Sure!" Longwei turn his head and saw a little blue bird on a tree, close to were they were. He whistled and the bird came to him. He asked the bird to follow them and it obeyed without any hesitation.

They followed the bird because the route the brothers took was a complicated one and they've even lost them several times but because of the bird, they came back on track.

The brothers entered their Grandparents house and Xinyi and Longwei climbed a tree that was close to the house. From the angle of were the tree was, you can see what is happening in the house clearly but because the Xu family is feared, No one dares to eavesdrop but because Longwei and Xinyi are little, they passed the guards without much problems.

They saw their grandparents walking out of their chamber as they approach the brothers.

Xinyi looks at the pond that was beside the tree and used her new powers.

"Brother, you use your animal magic and I'll use the water magic, okay"

Xinyi pointed her hand directly at the pond and water started raising up from the pond. She moved the water inside the house and dropped it at the fine jade-like floor.

Xu Chao who was oblivious to what just happened because he was busy complimenting himself that he did a great job and his grandparents also praising him, nobody saw what Xinyi did. Xu Chao walks towards his grandmother to give her the expensive and fragile pendant but he didn't notice the water on the floor, so he slipped and fall flat on his butt. He dislocated his left leg because of it. But he didn't only hurt his leg, he also broke the pendant. It fall of the ground and Xu Chao fall on it breaking it with his butt. It was extremely expensive and fragile but it was broken just like that.

Xinyi and longwei were laughing softly so as to not get noticed but tears were coming out of their eyes because they were suppressing their laughter too hard.

Grandmother Xu clutch her chest because of the pain she just received. She was a woman who loves money and if a single penny is lost, it will make her faint. But now seeing this expensive pendant getting broken by her stupid and clumsy grandson, She felt like her heart is going to explode. Her husband Grandfather Xu held her because she was stumbling here and there. He looks at his Grandchildren with a shocked face as he said with a shudder

"W-where is the beast orb"

Xinyi laughed when she saw her wicked Grandparents faces,this was a bonus for her. Longwei smiled evilly and said inwardly 'My turn'
