Living Doll of MHA

A child is born into the world of MHA. She is not born in Japan but is instead born in England. Her Quirk? It is still yet to be determined but from her birth, she has the appearance of a baby toy doll. Will she be a hero? Will she become a villain? Or will her path be one that is her own that is outside of those two choices? (Short release of a chapter or couple of them, unlike my other projects that have been continued.. do not expect regular updates!) Spying

It was just another night of possessing the body of another doll when Tiffany had come across something that had caused her to give up on her hopes and dreams that involved her Quirk and her adoptive family treating her better.

There were some toys that were packed away in storage to be used another day to be sold in the stalls and Tiffany had possessed one of them.

The more that she tested out her ability, the more things she made contact with and even things that she had helped to move during the preparation for the carnival being organised was within her range of her manipulation.

It was quiet within the place that they were stored inside until the door was unlocked from the outside and two figures walked inside.

It was her adoptive parents who were key members of the carnival and had a lot of authority over everyone else.

Her mother was called Dorothy Bates while her husband was called Basil Bates, they both were checking over the storage room late into the night until they stopped to talk.

Basil was the first the speak up as he had asked. "Are there any talents that have caught your interest? There must be someone worth something."

There were training sessions held within the carnival to help select potential talents for the shows and there were even some more private lessons which were tailored towards Quirks.

England was not as developed as Japan when it came to Quirk laws and the suppression of Quirk use and still had to catch up if they would be able to have some form of stability.

There was a large hero group named the Round Table that was ran by the top hero but they could only cover so much of the country.

The government and royal family held a lot of power in London but further away was where things started getting more chaotic.

The church were Quirk supremacists that believed that their god given abilities should not be suppressed so their ideology clashed with the government and others that tried to implement those suppression laws.

The hoods were a large group of vigilantes that were spread out and mainly operated in poorer areas where crime was ignored by the rich and the heroes that mainly only worked in bigger cities closer to the capital.

There was a revolutionary group that had formed during the time of the mining strikes and had evolved into a group that would continue fighting for the rights of Quirk users.

Opposing that were human groups that were of the belief that Quirks were an abomination and that ordinary humans should take back their world.

There were other groups that existed along with different criminal groups and people that lived all kinds of lives.

Most of the powerful Quirk users were either affiliated with the army or were based in the capital but there were some that appeared in different cities that had become famous.

While the overall control of the country was not completely in the hands of those that ran the country, most of the other things were often swept under the rug by the media in order to keep their strong image.

England was a part of the United Kingdom and they needed to put up a strong front and act like they were in control of the ongoing conflicts within their countries so that they would not look weak to other countries.

Political or business ties could easily be broken with another country if too much weakness or incompetence was shown and in the worst case, it could even spark a war.

Most criminal actions in some cities or parts of some areas had to be ignored and covered up if those areas were too problematic to send heroes to oversee those places.

Even if there were laws in place, not everyone was of the same belief and there was some resistance so there were more public areas that had used their Quirk in public or for work but not everywhere was so accepting of seeing others use their Quirks like that.

Within the carnival, it was not right for them to show off their abilities so flashily in front of so many people but they could still train those with a Quirk using their facilities.

It may have been fine for them to put on a special show involving Quirks in some cities they travelled to but there was always a risk that they would be filmed, if they were filmed doing so then it could risk their future business relationships in other cities that were less accepting of Quirk use without a license.

Dorothy had thought for a while before answering. "There is only one and she is quite talented. I would of liked to keep her around for her ventriloquist talents that can be used but her Quirk had much more value so she has to go."

Basil nodded in response. "When do you plan on selling her?"

Dorothy smiled coldly. "The deal has already been made so we just need to deliver her. That was why I hinted for you to come here out of the eyes of the others. We cannot be too careful."

Basil sighed. "So you went behind my back again and sold off another one?"

Dorothy frowned as she argued back. "I had no choice, they knew that we were back in the city so they came looking for me. I would have liked to raise the price a little more or to find multiple buyers to fight for her but I cannot go against them."

Basil had let out a tired sigh. "I guess you are right. I know their temperament and negotiating with them does not work out well. I guess that girl has a tough life ahead of her."

Dorothy shrugged. "If she lives or dies.. it is none of our concern anymore."

To Dorothy, the value of each of her children had been shown how profitable they were.

If they had high talents and contributed to the carnival then they would be able to earn a decent place in the shows but there was a catch involved in it, the catch was that it could be more profitable to sell them off if their value exceeded their worth as part of the carnival.

There had been some that had disappeared one day after entering one of the cities before the carnival packed up and departed to another city.

She would rather sell off a valuable Quirk user and make a quick profit rather than continue to invest in someone that may not be able to earn her that much in the end.

The ventriloquist would not be able to bring in as much money as others so their Quirk and their talents using it had made her a target for a sale.

Just like they had said, a little more time had passed and through the eyes of the dummy, Tiffany had witnessed as her elder sister had been taken away to be sold.

Her elder sister was woken up as people entered her room and Tiffany witnessed as her mother had injected her elder sister with something to put her asleep.

In order to check if what she had seen was true, Tiffany had seen that her elder sister was truly gone and she was filled with regret that she had not said anything and that she was too weak to stop it from happening.

There was more feelings that were building up within her and among them, there was a sense of betrayal and fear towards her parents and the carnival. 'I will not trust in them anymore. If I show them then I could end up the same.'

She was just too small, young and weak to be able to affect what was going on around her but that did not leave her in complete despair. 'I have to improve and use everything I can.'
