The Best Sibling

It's a Monday morning and everywhere and everyone in the apartment was busy preparing for their day but something or rather someone was missing! As usual Kel a little boy of age eight, light skin, baby eyes pointed nose and dark hair marched towards Grandma's room and saw little Jasmine lying next to grandma holding her stomach, Kel jumped on the bed and began to tickle Jasmine, the six year old couldn't stop laughing and begging her sweet cousin to stop.

Kel began to stare at her with a raised brow, Jasmine couldn't help but asked what with a pout, and Kel began, are your homework done? Are your shoes polished and are your uniforms set for school today? Jasmine began to complain, I couldn't do my homework because you were not there to help me and my uniforms are clean but my shoes are not so good.

They both began to argue as to why Jasmine homework was not done, Kel asked when I got back from the games why didn't you remind me Jasmine as usual always have a backup excuse she replied immediately saying! You were too tired so I didn't want to disturb you, what about your shoes said kel, I knew you would polish yours this morning so I left mine for you as well, go bring your home work I will do it while you prepare for school! Said kel, Jasmine turn to their grandma who as been there all along listening to their petty arguments and said I told you he will save me with a broad smile on her face, grandma immediately tap her to hurry before he change his mind.

Jasmine and kel were set for school, they both sat at the dining table waiting for the remaining siblings Zac and Lim. Lim who is thirteen and Zac just eleven, ( Zac and Lim are Jasmine step brother and sister both from the same mother,) both came out arguing about their class, Lim a dark skin, tall and beautiful girl with her hair parked in a ponytail rushed out saying her class is the best in the school and followed by Zac who replied saying her class was the dumbest in the history of Their school, both continued until they got to the dining and as usual they both sat and looked furiously at each other, Immediately a voice resounded in the house, You guys should hurry up and leave me and your grandmother in peace in this house.

Jasmine and kel couldn't help but laugh while Lim replied saying! Sure we will, A tall, chubby, fair skin Lady ( Jane: kel's mum, and a sister to Jasmine, Zac and lims Dad) came out of the kitchen and walked straight to Jasmine and gave her a kiss on her cheek and her forehead, immediately the remaining three started grumbling, she's not the only one here, and so the lady kissed each one of them, the maid came out to serve breakfast to the kids.

After breakfast Zac and Lim ran off to school while the maid got ready to drop Kel and Jasmine in school. Before they left grandma came out to hand candy to the kids while Jane pat Jasmine back and shoo them off to school.
