The overlord in the dark forest was Louis Franzia. Louis is a hermaphrodite, which means he has both sexes. It was one of her race's defining characteristics.

Her race is quite rare in this part of the world because her race is a shapeshifter, which makes them difficult to find. The primary reason they shapeshift is to find mates from other races. Their original form is a small cat the size of a palm, ranging from 3 to 5 inches in length.

The majority of the time, their race adapts to the male gender. They only use the female gender if they find someone with strong genes who piques their interest, after which they reproduce.

With all of the load noise, Red became disoriented. What he didn't realize was that he was in the wrong location. In level 12, two unknown overlords are performing a mating ritual.

Beasts can mate and reproduce in a variety of ways. The mating ritual is one of the best examples. It's a type of ritual in which two powerful male beasts fight until one is impregnated.

The two beasts are nearing the end of the ritual when Red appears out of nowhere. It messes everything up.

One of the beasts appeared to be a giant worm with crystal clear scales, while the other appeared to be a giant snake with pink patterned scales.

The giant pink snake was 100 times younger than the crystal giant worm, which was already 5700 years old. That fu*king ugly worm was so offended that he was ambushed and forced into a mating ritual.

When he saw the oblivious Red, he interrupted the ritual. He would prefer to mate with a weak human over a worm. To mate with a worm race, regardless of strength, was an insult to him. He was a proud Charm Snake Race participant.

The only reason he didn't realize he'd already lost the mating ritual was that if the winner of the ritual fails to impregnate him, the other part interrupts the ritual and can also impregnate him.
