Acting Weird.

"When did you guys get here " Joy hugged Liana. She had just woken to see Liana watching her sleep.

"Are you okay?" Liana asked.

"Am fine, it wasn't that bad. But how did you get to know?" she asked.

"Gerald told me last night. Am sorry about what happened, he will pay " Liana said.

"It's alright he didn't hurt me much just a few bruises " Joy smiled.

"Don't smile like that 'cause I know you are in pain he hurt you and needs to pay for it. Thank God Gerald was there to help you "

"Did he leave?" Joy asked.

"Who, Gerald?" Liana asked.

"Mmmm"

"He left after we got here. He looked tired so I told him to go rest and we will take care of you " said Liana.

"Oh..okay "

"Why ? did you want to say goodbye "

"I just wanted to thank him again for last night," she said.

Liana smiled, "Don't worry Gerald said he will return in the evening to check on you and also bring your medications" she pushed her back down, "Now you rest while Xavier makes us some breakfast "

Joy giggled, "why are you making him do it, is it appropriate? I thought he would leave for work now "

"Nah, he wanted to stay here and help look after you until Gerald returns, " Liana said climbing in next to her friend.

They laid in bed while playing games and chatting until Xavier brought in the food. Joy thanked him for the food.

"Your back " Xavier opened the door for Gerald who had returned. He looked down and smirked "what's all that "

Gerald walked in with arms full of groceries.

"I bought some stuff for her, it was like she was running low on food," he said placing them in the kitchen.

Xavier followed him and watched as he unpacked each and placed them where they belong.

"You seem to know where everything goes, but I thought you were a stranger like me?" Xavier asked.

"I spent the night here so I now know my way around," he said.

"Okay "

Gerald looked around, "what are they doing?" he asked.

"Liana is helping Joy take a shower," Xavier said. "After she's done we will leave, now that your here "

Gerald went ahead with unpacking while Xavier watched.

"Your acting weird," he said

"Why do you say that?" Gerald looked up

"Haven't you noticed your actions towards Joy are a bit, different from how you treat other women " Xavier said.

Gerald scoffed, "What actions? I think you overthinking things "

"You keep finding excuses to drop her home, get into a fight to defend her, stay overnight taking care of her, and even do the shopping for her" Xavier listed.

"She's Liana's best friend and has been through a lot and am only doing this to help your girlfriend out," said Gerald.

Xavier smirked, "Okay "

"Okay," Gerald said.

Xavier sat back letting Gerald start to make dinner.

"Your making dinner too, I didn't know you even knew how to cook " he chuckled.

Gerald sighed and didn't answer.

"Oh, Gerald your back. Making dinner?" Liana asked.

"Yeah, she needs to first eat and then take her medication," he said.

"Okay, but now I need some help getting her out of the shower, " Liana said looking at the two men.

"Since I helped get her there, let Gerald go help her now," Xavier said.

Gerald turned to him with a glare and Xavier smirked.

"Gerald will it be okay, it was fine with Xavier since she was dressed but now she's only wrapped in a robe," Liana said.

" I would go but it might be awkward for her and I don't want to see any other woman naked part from you," Xavier said.

Liana laughed, "That's what Joy had said but I still came anyway now that Gerald is here let me go ask if it's okay with her too "

"Okay " answered Xavier.

Liana turned to Gerald, "Is it okay with you Gerald? "

Gerald turned away from Xavier and smiled at Liana.

"As long as it's okay with her," he said.

Liana smiled and walked back to Joy's bedroom.

Xavier turned to Gerald with a smile.

"What?" Gerald glared.
