Chen Yun

Lei Jin could have seen this coming since the moment he had decided to go through with this plan. So he was not surprised that the three old farts in front of him were thinking like this. It was something he and his wives were all prepared for and thus shifted their focus a bit. To really focus on every word that the Divine Monarch spoke.

Lei Jin didn't stop there. He burst his aura out but calmly. A way to show that he wasn't going to back down but was willing to listen. Putting his elbows on the table and leaned forward. Each motion was perfect and precise. Nothing over exaggerated or out of place. Then he scanned the three of the Divine Monarchs.

"This Pillar Disciple has already made this an excellent deal for you all thus far. Asking for more is quite intriguing. What else could it be that you wish to gain? Keep in mind If I don't like your words I will… retract the deal at once." Lei Jin said, to match his intent with the display of his aura.

"Ahahaha, I assure you it isn't something too crazy. We just desire some other reassurance that the deal we have come to will not come to a sudden close." Bright Sun Divine Monarch said, quickly trying his best to remain calm.

"Yes, as Young Pillar Lei Jin may know. The people in the Shattered Heaven have practically been hunted down by the disciples of the Cave Heaven & Paradises." Heavenly Net Divine Monarch said.

"I see, so you considered the capturing of criminals to sway your judgment. And here I thought I was being too harsh on you." Lei Jin sighed, actually disappointed that was the reason. "Alright then it seems we have nothing more to speak of. My people and I will be leaving now. See you again next time." Lei Jin said, starting to stand up, followed by everyone else.

"Ah, please wait a moment. The three of us here understand that the people captured had indeed mostly committed crimes. So we can not fault you for those." Withered Flame Divine Monarch said, hurriedly.

"Yes, We also have understood the ones taken to help aid in the fight against the Ink Clan. It would be ludicrous to think of leaving everything to only a small portion of the Human Race. Everyone should join that struggle." Bright Sun Divine Monarch said directly after.

Lei Jin sat back down. Everyone else followed him in doing so. At the end of the day this was all a test. Now that they have passed the discussion could naturally continue. It wasn't good to threaten them but at the same time Lei Jin never truly specified what exactly would happen. It could just be a forced motion and send the three Divine Monarchs to the battlefield. Then have the 'Cave Heavens & Paradises' flew their strength unimpeded for well… the rest of time.

"Please continue. And take this as a minor apology for having tested your motives. I'm sure you understand when choosing allies one must be careful. After all, having an incompetent ally is worse than a competent enemy. Even worse is an enemy within one's own camp." Lei Jin said, taking out some jugs of the really good wine and giving them a jug each.

At first the Divine Monarchs were aghast at the small gift. Though they accepted it without showing any struggles. This ended up being a good idea since after reading the label they realized that the jug alone was worth around 10 full sets of rank 6 materials. It was not an easy thing for anyone to just hand out even if it was the Pillar Disciple of the 'Cave Heavens & Paradises'. Such wealth was truly insane.

"Thank you for the gift. Please allow this old master to continue." Heavenly Net Divine Monarch said, pausing to enjoy the good wine. "We wish to have a bond formed with you so we can assure the people that everything will be fine. To do this we decided to propose a marriage. Since I am the only one here with any daughters I will summon her right away." He continued.

"Ahahaha, so it was a marriage! That would indeed build a strong bridge between the Two of us. But, what guarantee do you have to me that the three of you will stick together?" Lei Jin said, swirling his drink.

"A shrewd one indeed. Worry not about this Young Pillar. Both Withered Flame and Myself have found disciples in each of our respective sects to marry. In this way we will build a firm connection between everyone." Bright Sun Divine Monarch said.

"Good, then summon those people immediately. I will take them back with me so they can gain the benefits of my Residence's fertility Aura. After all a Marriage is not enough of a bond for what we are constructing. There must be fruit born of this." Lei Jin said, downing the rest of his tea before pouring some more for himself.

"Ahahaha, I see, then I send someone to find them at once." Withered Flame said, raising his hand and a guard left the room after giving a salute.

The door didn't shut after the guard left. Instead it remained open for a moment. A beautiful woman walked in followed by another. They seemed to be mother and daughter at a glance. Though, guesses like that would become unnecessary in a moment.

"This is my daughter Chen Yun. She will be a good wife and mother. She also has the 'Cloud Jade Body'. Go on, introduce yourself, Chen Yun." Heavenly Net Divine Monarch said.

"It is an honor to meet you. My name is Chen Yun." Chen Yun said, with a very slight off tone voice caused by nerves.

Qing Ning without missing a beat appeared in front of Chen Yun. She then whispered something into her ear. That changed the calm and slightly nervous look on Chen Yun's face to one full of embarrassment.

"So it's 'Azure Void's' Pillar Disciple Lei Jin. It is truly an honor to meet you." Chen Yun said, her tone completely shifting.
