Oak Family (Final Round Fight!)End of Volume 1

Leaf " the final round is upon us, the battle will be between Liam's Lugia Shadow versus Gin Oak's Lucario," 

Shadow glides to the center, meeting Lucario face to face. It started to get cloudy, and rain as Shadow had a dark aura slowly begin to surround him, surprising Liam because he's never seen Shadow get this excited over a battle before. Lucario also started to have an atmosphere surrounding him. A thunderbolt struck a nearby tree scaring Leaf, so she summoned her Pokemon to protect her and left the battlefield to witness this fight from a distance. 

Lucario's aura erupted as he used agility, laser focus, sword dance, and then calm mind slowly getting into a stance ready to attack. Shadow had already used rain dance, so after seeing Lucario's aura, he used dragon rage, also boosting his stats up. They both then disappeared at the same time smashing into each other with a quick attack, but due to Lucario's laser focus, he had gotten a critical hit knocking Shadow back.

Not giving a chance for Shadow to recover Lucario using aura sphere causing Shadow to do a desperate shadow movement to dodge and just as Shadow was about to charge towards Lucario the aura sphere had made a u-turn and smashed into Shadows back causing him to almost pass out. Still, he struggled to get back up and was ready for another round soon after roaring at Lucario for the sneak attack causing Lucario to chuckle.

Shadows' eyes start to glow as the weather got worse, and he unleashed a mighty thunderbolt at Lucario, but he dodges it and uses karate chop, but Shadow than flys up to avoid the attack. The Thunderbolt that had missed redirected into the dark clouds in the sky, but Gin and Lucario failed to notice the potent offense that was brewing up there. 

Shadow has electrical currents running around his body as his eyes glowed once more. Then all of sudden, a pillar of lightning descended from the sky striking where Lucario was standing, leaving a massive crater in the ground and blowing dust everywhere clouding everyone's vision. Shadow could be seen injured and breathing heavily as electricity was crackling all over his body, self shocking him.

He lands on the ground, searching for where Lucario went, but Lucario in question was right behind Shadow, so when the dust settled down, and everyone could see again, Liam quickly yelled for Shadow to dodge. Still, it was too late, Lucario had unleashed a series of moves on Shadows back called close combat on the already weak Shadow, and then he finished him off by using Aura Sphere blasting Shadow into the crater he had created. Liam quickly ran up to Shadow to make sure he was ok. 

Gin signaled Leaf to come back and end the battle for them. Liam returned Shadow to his poke ball, thanking him for a great fight as his eyes were flickering between red and gold until he calmed down. Gin," that was a great battle buddy; Lucario needed that to level up thanks a lot, Liam." "How did he dodge that last attack," asked Liam, who was still confused about how they came out of that devastating attack.

"Instincts buddy, we knew Shadow was about to release something powerful, so we were extra focused and used agility and quick attack to dodge easily" Liam couldn't help but shake his head because he was trying to be flashy instead of being more efficient. Liam thanked Gin for the battle and invited him for a meal since it was getting late.

They all dropped off their Pokemon at the Pokemon center and headed to the bar where they talked about all kinds of topics. Gin was surprised Liam knew so much about Pokemon history and legends, so they went full geek mode while Leaf sat there listening to all the interesting topics they discussed. The next day they collected their Pokemon's and said their goodbyes until next time.
