Legendary Shadow

We start our story in a city called Burtonsville.

We can see a boy who was 17 years old. His name is Liam who was currently walking home from school.

Liam loves Pokémon; he played every version, watched every show and movie, and even traded the cards when he was younger. As he was walking, a little girl walked past him, not paying attention to where she was going. And of course, next comes truck senpai speeding down the road, and because he was coming down a hill, he was not able to stop on time. Liam quickly dove in to push the little girl out of the way, and in turn, he got crushed by truck senpai and turned into a meat paste. He didn't even get a chance to feel the pain and died. 

A few minutes later, he can be seen sitting in front of an older man. He was shocked and asked him if he was God. God said, "Yes, I am God nice to meet you officially, Mr. Hero." Liam blushed from being called a hero and asked him, "So…what's next?". God then told him that what he did was beyond heroic, so he was going to give Liam another chance at life but in a different world.

Liam thought about what world he wanted to go to and after much deliberation, he chose to go to the Pokémon world since he knew a lot about it. After that, God told him that he will send him a gift later, and Liam blacked out. 

Liam then woke up as a little boy at the age of ten, also called Liam. As he woke up, he heard a female voice and knocking on his door which was locked. According to her voice and tone, she seemed pretty angry that the door was locked. He quickly opened the door to find a brown-skinned lady in an apron, giving him a knock on the head and telling him never to lock the door again. 

He quickly hugged her to calm her down, which worked. He got ready and headed downstairs for breakfast. But before he went downstairs, he went to the mirror to check himself out. He saw that he had healthy brown skin, gold eyes, black dreads and that he was quite tall for his age sitting at 5'0. He also noticed that he was a little fat, but he could work on that with a good work out plan.

Liam then started thinking about his past life and was still in a daze believing it to just be a dream. But after replaying all the events that happened, he accepted the fact that he was indeed reborn in the Pokémon world. As he thought that, he started thinking of what starter Pokémon he wanted. He looked out from his window and saw a big building with the name 'OAK' written on it and saw Ash and Gary walking towards it. Seeing this, he got excited because he will get to meet his childhood heroes, Ash and Professor Oak. 

After having breakfast, he went out to check out the environment and the people around the town. Everyone was extra friendly and knew Liam. The town was quite big compared to what he saw in the shows and video games. As he was walking, he saw Ash and Gary coming out, and they ran up to him.

"Hey, Liam" they both said. Then Gary said, "Buddy you are late today what's going on? We already went to see the Professor, and he told us he wouldn't need our help today, so we have a day off. So let's go check out some Pokémon battles at my house I have the elite four fights on PPV (pay per view)." 

Liam accepted the invitation and joined them as they went to Gary's house. The match was an upcoming trainer, Lance versus Agatha; Liam got excited and watched as Agatha brought out a Golbat as her first Pokémon, and then Lance brought out Areodactyl. The battle started and ended very quickly because Golbat was at a type disadvantage and had rocks being thrown all around him to prevent him from flying. The next Pokémon Agatha brought out was Arbok. 

Just when they were about to start the fight, the TV went off pissing all three of the boys off. They quickly checked to see who turned it off. It was Daisy Oak, Gary's older sister.
