An advice

"What do you mean you all?" Sid asked abruptly.

"Whatever you heard just now!" Sam said without looking at him. Sid boiled up at her response but Mon grabs his before he could do anything.

"A word, Sid?" Mon asked as she dragged him along with her outside the room.

The other team members left the room too after smiling at Jake with concern except for Sam.

"Why did you stay?" Jake asked once everyone was gone. He glanced straight to her eyes and could already notice her darkened eyes. Did she stay up all night in the hospital? Why she has to do that?

"Just…"she was about to complete when Jake cuts her off.

"You know, you really don't have to do this. It does not matter to you or anything. "He scoffs.

Sam could not say a word after hearing his response but she simply stared at him in surprise.

"You can leave now."

Said Jake as he continued to stare at the ceiling.
