Ai, surrounded by thunder, finally arrived.

Simu raised his foot at incredible speed and brought it down heavily toward Ai.

"Boom!" 

The golden light and violent thunder erupted as they collided. Ai's expression changed to one of surprise. 

"I underestimated you, kid," he said, clenching his fist to meet Simu's descending foot. 

"So, you're the Raikage candidate from Kumo Shinobi Village, Ai."

"You're really scary." 

As he held Kushina, Simu firmly planted his foot down.

Ai, who had never faced defeat in his life, refused to back down now. Stubbornness was his trademark. 

The thunder around him grew more intense, almost overwhelming. 

A powerful bolt shot out from his body, slicing a tree in half. 

Simu wasn't ready to retreat either. He had just reached a crucial moment, and Ai's presence was a distraction he couldn't ignore.

"Cut it out..." Ai replied, slowly rising to his feet.

"Correct me, my nickname is Kizaru."

Simu insisted. He was determined about this because it affected his simulation value growth rate.

"Oh, it doesn't matter. I'll bury you with my own hands. Remember my name: Ai!" 

Simu remained calm when he heard this because his Observation Haki informed him that reinforcements were on the way.
