This is what happened to me prior to meet you agent Delaney.
I was brought towards a Reformation Camp by Kyle. The Director had given him the free pass in order to place me in containment, while awaiting any other possible "misfits" that failed inspection back at the Saturn-Voyde building. I couldn't be bothered to complain one bit.
Kyle himself has told me that he was surprised in all of this, that I remained quiet myself. He believed me when I told him I didn't mean to bug the company, that it wasn't my choice.
Of course he told me the operation that would be conducted on me at the Camp would be much more lighter if I had spoke to him about the people that put me into this situation in the first place.
He was surprised of course when I mentioned the BLV.
"I've heard of them before, I do agree with them to some extent, their goals and idealogy to make this city clean of certain things...and people." Kyle said to me on the journey towards the Camp. "Unfortunately what they're doing right now is unacceptable, and now I'm going to have to work with the company to see if the BLV has tried to recruit anyone else other than you."
Kyle told me at some point, I had to give it all the information related to my social media, my contacts list, and so forth.
I was going to have to be their mole for the original moles that was the BLV.
"I can respect a man who wants to serve his country, but there should never be an excuse to damage a company's reputation, especially if the same company had give you a job as well as a steady flow of income."
Those were Kyle's words, and I believed him.
I gave him all the information he needed, including Ignacio himself.
"I can't guarantee that you won't suffer a tiny bit from this." Kyle explained. "But at least you won't be put on trial for whistleblowing and tampering with the good name that has contributed to rebuilding this nation after the Tsunami years back.
The car went passed the hills far North, we were now far away from the city itself. Kyle soon took out his phone.
"How's the inspection?" he asked before he kept silence and heard the explanation of the person on the other line. "Damn, that many huh? With Blue Moon and among other possessions with unwanted material?"
"Tell the Director that more security measures should be set up next time, in the absolute front door of the building." Kyle added. "Have a brief inspection for every worker as well as their possessions, including the contents of their lunch if they bring any!"
I looked to the side of the window, and soon saw a large barb wired fortress, Spotlights were shooting out into the sky. I gulped slightly.
DECOU REFORMATION CAMP - NORTH DIVISION
The doors opened and I was immediately taken out from the car forcefully by men in white uniforms and hats. They handcuffed me, before they took me into the building itself. Kyle was following us. I was escorted through the hallways, stepping on the black and white checkered floors.
I heard screams through my walk, as well as the sound of machinery clinking and clanking all over the place. At one point, a blast of electricity came from the far fight side of the hallways, and was soon accompanied by a man's scream.
"He'll take the Lighter reformation, the Visual Room." Kyle spoke with a loud voice from behind. The steps of both him and the guards were piercing my seemingly sensitive ears. We made a left turn where a large sign that said VISUAL ROOMS was located.
"We have a room set for the citizen." said one staff worker wearing blue clothes. He was standing straight up, as the guards forced me into the dimly light room, where a chair was waiting for me.
It was structured similarly to a dentist's chair, my hands strapped onto it with metal cuffs, as well as two belts holding my body down onto the chair. I heard the sound of hydraulics, positioning me upward, and facing a screen. The screen was white for the moment, and I gulped in nervousness.
"Don't worry." Kyle said to me as he made his way in front of me. "Worst case scenario is that they might show you rats, or the squirmy stuff like worms and maggots in high definition, and maybe with the sounds too, blech." he made a mock gesture of being disgusted.
From above, the ceiling opened with a panel, and a set of white goggles came down to my eye level.
Wait those weren't goggles, it was a VR like headset!
It strapped itself onto my forehead swiftly, and soon I was seeing Kyle but the lens made him more thin and odd.
"WE SHALL BEGIN THE REFORMATION PROCESS." boomed a voice at the intercom of the room.
"Sorry it had to be this way Elotro, but no deed goes unpunished, good or bad." Kyle said as he patted by shoulder. He sighed. "Really, I wish the BLV had a much more better approach towards this Blue Moon situation, I lost my own sister to Blue Moon years back, when she was dealing with college stress."
"Sadly, nowadays people are quite stubborn to help with their addictions, so don't be surprise why I often turn a blind eye against them." Kyle argued as I continued to listen, to him. "People are harming themselves with either Blue Moon, a bottle of booze or according to 'the people' of Decou, the streaming services that Saturn-Voyde provides after collaborating with those at Sternwood.
"CITIZEN, may you understand that as a member of this fair nation, you leave certain things to certain people who have the responsibilities.", the speakerphone screamed.
The VR headset showed me a black screen, followed by white glowing letters that spelled out a sentence all together.
REMEMBER,
THIS IS NOT YOUR OWN WORLD
YOUR ABILITIES DO NOT APPLY TO EVERYTHING
KNOW YOUR PLACE
WHAT YOU MAY THINK OR DO, MAY NOT BE ACCEPTABLE FOR EVERYONE
I couldn't care less that there was a Lighter version of the punishment here in the reformation camp, it was still too much to be trapped here, all while sweat was running down my neck.
Although my eyes were covered by the headset, I could see the outline of Kyle turning around, ready to walk out.
"Looking forward to seeing you again at work." Kyle lifted the headphones on my ears and whispered. "After you're reformed."
"Sorry it had to be this way Elotro!" Kyle said. "Though maybe you should have thought about it hard enough when you joined up with the BLV, you're were only at risk of killing yourself to live, your position in society, something most people would kill for in these times."
He added. "Just let the government deal with Blue Moon, even if criminals are out there on the streets selling them, certain people will take care of it."
He closed the door, before he left me
"MAY YOU BE REFORMED INTO THE CITIZEN THIS NATION CHERISHES" the speakerphone yells, before an incoming sonic boom invaded my ears.
I screamed.
