A Certainty

CLOUDY weather in the morning accompanied the journey of the two of them. Across the north-south highway, a white-driven four-wheel vehicle glide calmly. After finishing a few things in the office earlier, at precisely 9:00 in the morning, the two immediately rushed to the destination as planned.

"Sir, are you still okay to drive? If you're tired, I'll replace it."

"I'm okay, Shen. No worries."

"It's nice if we just take a flight. Quickly arrived. Save time."

"You know me well, don't you?"

Secretary Shen smiled slightly.

Yeah. Know very well…

The man next to him really prefers to drive himself. Even if it is far away, he is willing to do it. No matter how tired, the man doesn't care. As long as he is free to move anywhere. Tired, jammed, it's midnight, it doesn't matter. Instead of having to wait for a flight that is sometimes delayed for hours.

But if it has to, he got to go up as well. Especially if go overseas. Out of mind if want to cross the sea by car. Even so, following his heart, he might want to transport this favourite car on the plane together. Fortunately, there are car rental facilities in other countries.

"I already gave it to Haiqal."

"Any updates from him?"

"Yes. Our representatives will be there for the agreement signing event and have a further discussion regarding the cast list, location, filming dates, etc."

Qarl nodded contentedly. "Do it well. I want this to be our best project of the year."

"Copy that, sir. Haiqal will handle it perfectly."

"What time is the appointment with the hospital officer?" Qarl's voice was heard again after a moment of silence.

"1:00 p.m."

Spontaneous Qarl glancing the watch in hand. "It's 11:00 now. Within an hour or maybe an hour and a half, we'll be right there."

The Range Rover Velar continued to roar at speed splitting the slightly deserted highway. Qarl's heart was impatient to get to the destination for the sake of certainty.
