Frustration

IN a feeble stride, the two tall figures walked out of the hospital building. One face was still rippling calmly. The other one radiated a sense of frustration in the emptiness. The answer brought from the medical officer's room a moment ago did not seem to be as bright as hoped.

"Are you okay, sir?"

"Hmmhh. I don't know. Hope very much that our arrival here paid off. But it seems, in vain," said Qarl in a flat tone while squeezing his waist.

"It's been over 20 years, sir. A lot of things can happen. Everything can change."

"Yeah, I know. Meaning ... the difficulty of finding is quite high. The probability of finding them is also getting harder."

"It can still go on, sir."

"How, Shen? You heard earlier the officer tell you that Aunty Mei continued to disappear after giving birth. She's never come here again."

"The last address written in the medical officer's document submitted earlier was the same as the address that our PI got."

One by one the info meant by Secretary Shen was scrutinized by Qarl. Right. The addresses on both papers are the same.

"Don't you think it was a clue?"

Qarl looked right into his secretary's face. Secretary Shen's eyebrow that raised seemed to give new hope to his search mission.

"Have you booked a hotel?"

"No, sir. You said we will be back today. There is no reason for us to spend the night here."

"But now, yes." Simultaneously Qarl handed back the document in his hand to Secretary Shen. "Book rooms for us. We spend the night here. Tomorrow morning... we will go to that address. "

Qarl continued to pass towards his car with a spirit that again blazed a thousand.
