"Mine... I can eat on my own... Besides you're as injured as I am." Sheele complained being fed by Mine.
"No. You're body is in worse shape than I am." Mine continued to feed Sheele despite her protest.
Sheele smiled, thankful for having great friends around her.
"Bulat, can I ask you to continue training Tatsumi... My type of skills aren't compatible with his. And you've been training him for a while now." Kakashi requested.
"Leave it to me, bro!" Bulat gave a thumbs up. "He's progressing well anyways, and I too... need to improve more... It's kinda embarrassing letting the rookies doing all the work."
"I'm no rookie to assassinating, so don't feel bad about my accomplishments. You're strong as well." Kakashi left his fist out. Bulat fist bumped him in return, and gave a smirk.
Akame watching Kakashi interacting with others, smiled a bit. "It seems our not so cold-blooded girl is in love." Leone teased her, which Akame blushed a bit. "Haha don't worry, we all saw you kissing him last night. And we approve of you guys being a couple." Leone accidently confessed.
"So you guys eavesdropped on us... Is what you're saying?" Akame had a terrifying smile on.
Leone, realizing she fucked up, started sweating a bit. "U-um... sorry?" Was all she could say before being chased by Akame out of the building.

Inside the Imperial Palace...
"General Esdeath." The Emperor greeted.
"Yes, your majesty." The woman responded.
"Your conquest of the northern lands was superb! We are prepared to reward you with 10,000 pieces of gold for your efforts." The Emperor praised her accomplishments.
She nodded, "I am grateful, your majesty. We left not a soldier alive in the North."
"Splendid. Now I must apologize, I realize you have just returned. However, there is work to be done. An atrocious group know as Night raid has begun running rampant around the capital. I wish for you to focus on purging this group from the city." The Emperor sheepishly said.
"I understand... In that case, I would ask one thing of your majesty." She requested.
"Um, soldiers, is it? You may use as many as you wish." The Emperor responded, guessing what her request is.
"I have heard that the enemy possesses many Imperial Arms. It takes an Imperial Arm to fight an Imperial Arm, your majesty. And as such, I would like for a group of six Imperial Arm users to be assembled. That will be sufficient for my needs. I will form a group of nothing but Imperial users that will maintain security in the capital." She said.
"...Doesn't the general have a group of Imperial Arm users...? Those known as the Three Beast? And yet you ask for six more?" The Emperor questions the general.
"Your majesty, I believe we can rest easy by entrusting this task to general Esdeath." The Prime Minister finally spoke.
"If you say as such, then I will not question it. Will you handle the preparations?" The Emperor agreed with the Prime Minister's words.
He grinned, "Of course, your majesty. I will see to it personally."
The Emperor sighed in relief. "Then I can be assured that peace shall return to the capital!"
'Makoto, General Esdeath is a very loyal subject... Esdeath has no interest in politics and amassing political power. Facing and then crushing an enemy is everything to her! While I keep the country under my thumb, all she desires to do is fight an enemy. As far as having an advantage goes, she is the ultimate trump card!' The Prime Minister thought inwardly.
"I don't believe just giving you gold is a suitable reward for the task. I wish to give you something special. Is there anything you desire...? Such as titles or land?" The Emperor asked the general.
"There is one thing... if I may dare say..." The general's voice trailed off.
The Emperor was curios on what she wanted as a reward. "What is it...?"
"I was thinking... It may be nice to try being in love." She replied with an unexpected answer.
Both the Prime Minister and Emperor looked at each other in disbelief.
"Th-... That's right! You are of marriageable age, and yet have not married." The Emperor hastily said.
"However, the general surrounds herself with those who adore her, does she not?" The Prime Minister asked.
"Those are 'Pets.'" She replied.
"Then may I suggest this? What of the Prime Minister? He's a good man!" The Emperor suggested.
Feeling off guard, he replied. "Wait a- Your majesty!"
"As you say, he is a good man. However, with his blood pressure being so high, it is uncertain whether he will live to see tomorrow." The general quickly shutting down the Emperor's suggestion.
"I am in perfect health, thank you very much." The Prime Minister feeling somewhat offended by her words. He quickly changed the topic about him. "Well then, what type of person would suit you best, general?"
Esdeath passed a scroll to the Emperor. "...Written on this scroll, are the things I most desire in a partner. Please inform me if anyone meeting this criteria should appear."
"I understand. We shall keep an eye out." He nodded.
After finishing up the meeting, Esdeath and the Prime Minister was walking through the hallway, having a conversation.
"As always, you do as you please, prime minister." She said.
"Of course. Those who don't agree with me are killed. When I wish to eat, I eat only the best meats. What type of thrilling person would it take to fill your desire, though? Ufufufu." He replied with a nasty grin.
The general shook her head. "You really have become sick, huh... ? Though it is quite strange... Till now, all I have ever cared about has been carnage and warfare. Even I... Don't understand where these feelings have come from."
"Yes, well. As a living being, it's only natural that you would desire the opposite sex, is it not ? I actually though you were a little slow in this area. He replied. 'Though talking about things like love doesn't suit her at all.'
"I see... This is a sort of bestial instinct, then ? Well, for the time being at least, I plan to have fun hunting the Night Raid." She said excitingly.
"Speaking of that... I think it's a little too much to request six Imperial Arm users." He said in a serious tone.
"Though in the end, you will take care of it, right?" Her eyes narrowed.
"Ufufu... I will take care of the preparations... Though as for what you can do for me... There has been a certain rapscallion running around the capital lately, killing off a lot of my allies..." The Prime Minister said in an irritated tone.
"Is that so..." She commented, curious on this new foe.

Tatsumi and Bulat were both training against each other in the training grounds, while Kakashi was observing them.
"Kakashi, you got a minute?" A green haired boy asked.
"No, but I do a book you might be interested in, Lubbock" The white haired teen replied.
Lubbock eyes rolled, "Haha, but seriously... I need your help on something."
"Alright then, I'm assuming you want to take it into my room?" Kakashi eyebrow raised.
He nodded and followed Kakashi towards his room.
After both men entered the room, Lubbock finally spoke, "I need your help to impress the boss."
Kakashi looked at him with a deadpanned face.
"What? If you're thinking about me impressing her as a team member, then you're dead wrong. I want to impress her romantically." He said quickly.
Kakashi sighed, "Look, just don't change the way you act. You might not see it, but she's slightly interested in you. We both talked about your skills and she was quite praising you more than the rest."
Lubbock hearing this, couldn't help but have a cheeky grin. "Really? Wait, why were you both discussing the team's skills?" He asked, realizing what he said.
"It was a while back... probably the second day when I started learning about you all. I needed to know, how to fight along side you guys, without hindering your strengths. That is why I asked her." Kakashi replied.
"Hmmm I see." Lubbock caressed his chin. "Do you... really think I have a chance?"
"Definitely, just don't change too much and continue to do what you always do." Kakashi gave a smile.
"Thanks... I knew asking someone who's in love with Akame was a great idea-" Lubbock stopped mid sentence. "Um... Oops?"
Kakashi looked at him like he was going to bury him alive, before laughing a bit. "HAHAHAHA... don't worry, I know all of you saw us kissing. Leone let it slip with Akame earlier." Kakashi patted his shoulder and left the room.

Somewhere outside a palace, there were three people kneeling in front of the blue haired general. One was a tall man with gray hair worn in a long ponytail, blue eyes and a mustache. The other was a man of large muscular build with long, spiky blond hair and pure white, pupil-less eyes. Lastly, the last one was a young man of small build with blond hair and golden eyes. He had a somewhat feline look; his teeth were shown to be sharp, and he had slit pupils.
"I have new orders for you three. Though it's somewhat different than the usual..." General Esdeath said.
"Give us any sort of order, Lady Esdeath." The gray haired one spoke.
"The three of us are your faithful servants." The smaller blond haired man replied.
"We will accept any orders, at any time, ma'am." The bulkier blond answered.
"Good." Esdeath said, content with their loyalty towards her.
Somewhere outside the Capital's outskirts.
A bald, elderly man with a large mustache and small beard, was riding inside a carriage with his daughter, a young girl with long, blonde hair and blue eyes. There were also a few soldiers escorting them along the road.
"How terrible, this village as well, huh... A nation is said to be made up of its people, and yet it's come to this." The elderly man commentated after seeing the situation of the people living in the outskirts.
"These poor people. I think you are heading into a nest of vipers by returning to the capital, father." The girl said.
"I can't just stay in retirement when there are people living like this, the country will be doomed. If it's like this, I will have to fight that minister to the bitter end!" He declared.
The elderly man was the former Prime Minister, Chouri and his daughter, Spear.
"You've grown to be such a fine woman. I guess that gallantry is the reason you have yet to become a bride...?" The former Prime Minister asked his daughter.
Feeling insecure about being unmarried in her age, she replied. "Ah! Th- That doesn't matter right now, does it?! Besides, I'm not really gallant, I just use the spear pretty well. Also, if a good person did appear, even I would get married...."
Seeing his daughter feeling insecure about the topic, he apologized.
Suddenly, the Three Beast Warriors could be seen standing a few blocks in front of them.
"Bandits again?! Public order has fallen so far!" Chouri exclaimed.
They both went outside the carriage and Spear ordered the soldiers. "We will deal with them the same way as the last ones! Prepare yourselves!"
Seeing that their targets are out in the open, the grey haired one ordered, "...Daidara."
Wielding the Imperial Arm, Double-Bladed Axe: Belvaac, which required considerable physical strength to use. He slashed all the soldiers limb to limb in a quick motion, without even seeing the attack.
'Gh... Too strong... My skills can't even...' Spear thought who managed to dodged a fatal blow.
"Heh, not bad, Onee-chan. You're pretty skilled to have escaped a killing blow from Daidara's attack. But... Considering what i'm going to do to you, I'm pretty sure you'll wish you'd been cut in half~." The smaller blonde said standing in front of her.
"Y-You... You're soldiers and officers of the Empire...!" Chouri yelled, seeing the gray haired man's uniform.
"Correct. I am a great admirer of your political works, sir." He replied.
"Th-Then why are you coming after me?!" Chouri asked.
The man replied in calm voice, "Because, above all...

Our master's orders are absolute!"
"Fifteen people defeated, is it? All right! The value of this experience will lead me to become stronger!" Daidara commented on his work.
The gray haired man took out some posters. "Spread out the leaflets. Help me out, Daidara."
"So, we're being used as the hand of the Minister, eh... Well, he has always been accused of getting rid of his political opponents." He said.
"However, the hand in this will appear to lead to the officials under the protection of Grand general Budo." The gray haired man replied.
"Ohhh, that's right! that's why it's our turn to act, right?" Daidara asked.
The grey haired man looked at him dumbfounded, "Didn't we explain this to you before...?"
"Hey, hey! Liver, check it out, look! Ta-dah! My collection has increased!" The small blonde man called out.
"...Nyau has such a disgusting habit." Daidara said.
"You made sure to properly kill her, right?" Liver asked.
Nyau laughed a bit. "Ahahaha. She died halfway through from shock!"
"Mission complete, let's head back to report." Liver said, then they all walked back to the capital leaving behind a gruesome scene.
One of the poster on the ground was written: "Punishment from Heaven, by Night Raid."
