Kakashi's past

That night Yennefer couldn't sleep well, she didn't know why, she felt that there was something wrong with Kakashi, Yennefe tried to calm her doubts and suspicions about him, but she couldn't, she realized that something was strange in their interaction that afternoon.

Kakashi was acting normally that same day, but when they arrived in his room, he began to show small changes in behavior, Yennefer noticed some suspicious attitudes from him.

What was in front of her was still the Kakashi she knew, but he had some small differences that would have been impossible to notice if it weren't for the decades they had known each other, with the amount of time they had been together Yennefer and Kakashi had learned a lot, about each other's behavior.

Normally no one would notice or consider these small changes in attitude, but living together made the two of them get used to and learn each other's mannerisms, so they would notice if these small changes in behavior appeared.

Yennefer from the illusion world trusted Kakashi without any doubts about his attitudes and choices, but Yennefer from the real world couldn't trust anyone, she believed that everyone who approached her had a hidden agenda, they wanted to take advantage by taking advantage of their skills, social status and economic power.

When Kakashi saved her from the world of illusions these two different Yennefers came together and became one person, she still had many of Yennefer's mannerisms and attitudes from the real world, but the experiences she had with Kakashi in the world of illusion changed her significantly.

She couldn't overcome her extreme distrust of others, but Yennefer believed in Kakashi as long as he didn't show any suspicious attitude, which was already a big improvement for her, who distrusted everyone even for no reason.

Observing him for abnormal behavior, Yennefer looked for anything that would lead her to confirm her suspicions that this was not her Kakashi, everything about him was identical to the Kakashi she knew, but her intuition was warning her, that this was not it was the Kakashi she knew.

She tried to push these thoughts out of her head, telling herself that this was just her paranoia and distrust acting up, but whenever she noticed these small changes in his attitude, her doubts returned.

Yennefer couldn't understand the reason for her distrust, since he hadn't shown anything that could make her distrust him, the differences were minimal, but she felt that something wasn't right.

Her distrust was already so deeply engraved in her being that it could be considered a pathology, her distrust was something she couldn't control, it was instinctive.

The clone noticed that she was acting strangely and fearing that she might suspect him, he began to act as nice and kind to her as possible, trying to do everything she liked, the clone was actively trying to please Yennefer to try and ward off any kind of distrust she might have.

He offered to give her a shoulder and foot massage, just the way she liked it, this wasn't something he did often, he only did it a few times in the world of illusions, after they went through exhausting fights.

This time he offered to do the massage, giving the reason that he had noticed she was stressed and wanted to help her relax.

Thinking that maybe Yennefer had realized that he wasn't the original Kakashi, because of little mannerisms and micro actions that clones weren't able to imitate instinctively, little things that people do because of muscle memory and the connections in their brains, Although he was a perfect clone in terms of appearance and memory, he did not have Kakashi's muscle memory and did not possess a identical brain.

The differences were not just limited to gestures, his way of thinking was also altered by brain chemistry that was completely different from that of the original Kakashi, so even though his decisions, way of speaking and acting were similar, his choices and way of acting were not equals.

Kakashi and the clone take different approaches to the same subjects, small differences that make all the difference in the end.

For example, Yennefer found the way the clone approached small matters a little strange, his way of expressing himself was unusual, his ideas seemed to be Kakashi's, but it was a different approach from the Kakashi she knew.

Kakashi never expected Yennefer to distrust his clone immediately, even considering the Sorceresses' keener intuition, Kakashi thought it would take a while for her to notice some differences, but her pathological distrust helped her notice the small changes in attitudes making her suspicious, of every small action of his clone, noticing even the smallest differences.

Realizing that Yennefer would not be easily convinced by his attempts, he had to prevent her from distrusting him further, the clone knew that it would be almost impossible for her to find out about what the real Kakashi was doing, but the clone learned that he could not underestimate the her intuition.

The clone began to do all his actions consciously, every word and expression he uttered were all planned to imitate Kakashi's way of acting, he did everything to lessen Yennefer's distrust that afternoon, but his actions had little effect on her.

Yennefer, noticing the clone's kindness, began to think that she was suspicious for no reason, this made her feel guilty for his doubt, she didn't want to doubt him, her intuition warned her that there was something wrong happening, Yennefer wanted to believe that he wasn't hiding nothing from her, but something made her suspicious of his intentions.

Even with his attempts to quell Yennefer's suspicions, the clone realized that her actions had little impact on her.

He discovered that once Yennefer suspected something, it would be very difficult to change her mind.

So the afternoon spent interacting with the two of them, one wanting to hide and divert her suspicions, while Yennefer tried to find out what was wrong.

In the middle of the night, the clone realized that Yennefer was still not sleeping, she was awake thinking and mulling over her suspicions, the clone knew that the longer she took to discover the truth, the more furious she would be when she found out, knowing that it was better to start controlling the crisis.

Wanting to lessen the feeling of betrayal that Yennefer would have upon finding out about Kakashi's actions, the clone decided that it would be good to have a conversation about his past with her.

Placing himself at her eye level he looked at her with sincere eyes, the clone started the conversation with her.

"Yen, is everything okay?" Yennefer, looking at the clone again, gave a small smile and nodded, "I'm fine, it's just that my head is full of thoughts.

Observing Yennefer's strangeness, the clone realized that she still distrusted him, he was surprised by Yennefer's level of paranoia.

Kakashi had noticed that Yennefer was much more jealous and possessive than her version from the illusion world, but he hadn't yet seen the level of pathological distrust she had, he hadn't yet had time to talk to her better, to find out what reason for his extreme distrust.

When he woke up after his fight against his doubles, Kakashi knew that Yennefer wanted answers and thought it was reasonable for her to distrust him in that situation, as it was a very unusual situation, but this time her distrust was completely abnormal, Yennefer had no reason to distrust him.

Mainly for small actions that for a normal person would be imperceptible, but it seemed that for Yennefer even these small things were enough to distrust him.

When Kakashi received his clone's memories he would decide that he should start dealing with these feelings of possessiveness, jealousy and distrust of Yennefer, it was not healthy for a person to have so many negative feelings, especially in the extremes that she was showing.

These feelings were destructive to her and her future relationships.

Knowing that Yennefer carried many traumas in her decades of life, Kakashi knew that it would be very difficult to change her attitudes and thoughts, but he would do everything in his power to help her overcome her traumas, Kakashi knew how difficult it was to live with so much pain and bad feelings.

Kakashi was not jealous, possessive or suspicious in the extreme, but he lived for many years with feelings of guilt, pain and grief, so he knew how good it was to overcome his traumas to be able to live a full and healthy life.

He still didn't know what her future would be like, but he wanted Yennefer to have a few more important people in her life, it wasn't healthy for Yennefer to have just one person she trusted and liked.

The clone knew that when Yennefer found out that Kakashi deceived her and took a risk, she would be furious and her distrust would only increase, she would begin to doubt Kakashi's intentions with his every little action, so wanting to appease her a little, the clone began talking, opening your heart to her.

Wanting to show Yennefer that if she wanted he wouldn't hide anything from her.

Yennefer asked about his family, the clone answered honestly, that he had few memories of his mother and that he lost his father very young, Kakashi's childhood had been very difficult and painful.

They both had a difficult life that's why they became so close, they recognized each other's difficulties.

The clone explained why his father committed suicide and how difficult his childhood was, people spoke badly of his father and called him a coward who preferred the easy way out rather than face the consequences of his choice, Kakashi had been Rejected by the adults of the village, they took out their frustrations and sadness on the son of the man who had the chance to end the war and gave up, even his father's companions whom he decided to save instead of finishing the mission, took their frustrations at Kakashi using his mean words.

Yennefer was feeling sorry for Kakashi for his childhood experiences, upon hearing his childhood stories she felt closer to him, her trust and affection were strengthened, she knew it was very difficult for Kakashi to open up and talk more about him to someone.

Her attitude showed how much he cared about her, to the point of telling her about her worst moments.

Suffering from loneliness, contempt and self-pity Kakashi isolated himself and rejected most people he no longer trusted anyone, Kakashi realized that those you called friends and companions to save yourself they would discard you and place the blame on you even though the It was their fault, their weakness was the reason the mission failed if they were more powerful, their father wouldn't have had to make this difficult choice.

Kakashi decided that he would never sacrifice everything to try to save his supposed friends or companions, the mission would always be a priority.

This only changes when he does that tragic mission with Obito and Rin.

Upon hearing Kakashi's childhood story, Yennefer started to feel guilty for making him remember so many bad memories so she hugged him tightly, Yennefer still treated Kakashi like a child even though she knew he was over 30 years old, his cute appearance made her forget he was an adult, so she smothered him with her overprotection like a mother to her child.

Her emotions were conflicting, she didn't know how to feel about Kakashi, she had never had a relationship with a person based exclusively on feelings instead of possible advantages she could obtain by relating to that person.

Yennefer occasionally remembered that Kakashi was an adult because of his attitudes, but that didn't matter because sometimes appearance has more value than personality, still hugging him Yennefer tried to console him, even if he didn't need to be consoled, she is a Yennefer is completely different from three days ago.

"I'm sorry Kakashi, I didn't want to make you remember such painful things, if I had known I would never have asked about it", she repeated herself several times making the clone find it amusing in his own way, he treated him like a small child.

The clone would leave the problem of imposing himself more to Kakashi.

"You don't need to worry Yen, I've already made peace with my past, I've accepted that sometimes bad things happen, I've already overcome these facts and forgiven my father for his decisions, in fact I even talked to him and gave him the forgiveness personally", his last sentence left Yennefer confused, thinking about the possibilities of how he managed to personally forgive her father, the idea of necromancy crossed her mind, soon this idea was discarded she knew that Kakashi would never do that, but the doubt still hovered in his head.

Not wanting to continue with this uncomfortable topic for him, Yennefer then asked about his companions and friends, Kakashi then said longingly about his two companions and friends Rin and Obito, but Yennefer noticed another feeling besides longing and attachment.

She could hear little traces of guilt in his voice as he talked about his friends, the clone didn't let any feelings show, but Yennefer had known Kakashi for 8 decades, so she could hear those little changes in the tone of his voice as he spoke, but she didn't interrupt him and let him continue talking.

Soon she noticed the guilt in her voice, Kakashi still blamed himself for his decisions at the time that made him lose his teammates, but the biggest reason for his feeling of guilt came when he revealed that Rin who was a friend and teammate, stood in front of him as he attacked an enemy, forcing him to kill her.

Even though he knew he didn't make the choice to kill her, Kakashi blamed himself for not being able to protect her, even after he swore to Obito on his deathbed that he would protect her, the clone said he had made peace with the his past to Yennefer, but Kakashi's feeling of guilt returned when he saw what his friend did and how many people lost their lives due to his lack of ability to protect Rin.

The clone also talked about several other events to Yennefer, for example he talked about his students, about the destruction of his village, his most difficult battles and about the fourth great ninja war, and how all the big villages came together to face a opponent, with power equivalent to that of a god.

He only talked about his main and most difficult memories, he didn't talk about everything about his life, but it still took him a few hours to finish his stories since he had lived more than 3 decades, after telling some of his stories to Yennefer he was dawn and they had to end their conversation.

When narrating the events, the clone noticed some emotions passing across Yennefer's face.

As he watched her, the clone saw small glimpses of curiosity and doubt that occasionally appeared on Yennefer's face, so looking into her eyes he said, "You don't need to hold back, you can ask whatever question you want."

Her eyes showed a little discomfort, along with doubt and guilt, she knew it could be a delicate topic, but even though Yennefer wanted to know more about Kakashi's life, she held back he wasn't hiding anything from her, whatever she asked he answered, showing no sign of lying or omission of any fact.

Yennefer found Kakashi's attitude strange, he wasn't one to open up in such a serious way to anyone, he would answer honestly if she asked, but he always had a softer or more playful tone with her, this time Yennefer realized that he was serious at all times as if he was trying to gain her trust.

Doubting why Kakashi was acting this way, Yennefer kept wondering what he could have done to try to make it up to her like that, she felt like he was hiding something from her, but she had no idea what it was.

Thinking about everything they had been through together and how honest he was being with her, Yennefer decided not to look into the matter, no matter what he was doing or what he was hiding from her, Yennefer would forgive him without much fuss as long as he wasn't putting your life at risk.

Yennefer never thought she would care so much about a person, she would risk her life without thinking twice to save Kakashi and she knew that Kakashi was also willing to sacrifice his life for her.

For the first time in her life she knew that she had someone who genuinely cared about her, so she would protect this important person with everything she had, Yennefer would annihilate anyone who dared to threaten or attack Kakashi, she would do it without caring about the consequences or what she would have to do.

After a while lost in her thoughts Yennefer realized that he was looking at her, waiting for her answer so she gave a small smile, "I have nothing else to ask", running her hand through his hair and continued the conversation.

"Kakashi, thank you for being honest with me, I know you told me stories and opened up to me like you wouldn't with anyone else, I'm happy because it showed how much you trust me", she continued running her fingers through his hair, while taking a short break.

Determination then shone in her beautiful lilac eyes, "You already know me better than anyone, but I'm going to tell you my secrets since you told me yours", the clone realizing that it wasn't a good thing for her to talk about her life with he.

"You don't owe me anything Yen, I talked about myself without intending to receive anything in return, you don't need to tell me anything", the clone tried to change her decision

Yennefer, however, had already decided that she would reveal some intimate information to him, but he managed to convince her to tell her stories only at night.

She was wanting to ask why they couldn't continue the conversation after breakfast, since they didn't have anything urgent that would prevent them from staying at home and talking that day, but before she could ask that question, they were interrupted by the maid.

"Sorry for bothering you ma'am, but there is a group at the door saying they have to speak urgently to young master Kakashi", this interruption did not please Yennefer.

"Tell anyone who wants to meet me or Kakashi, that we will only be available after lunch," Yennefer ordered the maid impatiently, her tone leaving no chance for disagreement.

The maid wanted to leave that place and obey her, since the sorceress scared her a lot, but she had tried to put the unwanted visitors out and was unsuccessful, they said they would only leave after seeing the boy, so even though she was hesitant, she continued to inform them.

"Madam, I already informed them that they would not be attended to, but they said they would only leave the door after they found young master Kakashi", Yennefer wanted to tell the maid to leave them waiting, but then the clone intervened, he already had a idea of who these people might be, so he thought about the possibility that perhaps some of the children had been kidnapped and they had come to him for help.

Standing up quickly, he wanted to confirm his suspicions, he knew that Júlia and her family would never do something like that without a good reason.

As he was heading towards the door, Yennefer stopped him, "Where do you think you are going dressed like that?", the clone then looked at his clothes and finally remembered that he was only in his underwear.

Realizing that he would go with or without her approval, Yennefer then got dressed and helped him get dressed, and went downstairs with him, her mood not being very good once again they were interrupted.

Kakashi was finally opening up completely to her and telling her his secrets, but they were interrupted by people without the slightest etiquette, it seemed that they didn't know that it was in very bad taste to pay a visit before breakfast, Yennefer hoped that they had a good reason to disturb your moment with Kakashi.

Going down the stairs Yennefer finally sees the visitors and her mood worsens, it was the family from the previous day that got in the way of her fun time with Kakashi.

It was Júlia, her mother Ilona, her uncle Antoni, Karol and Denis were also with them, the little ones, Anna and Kinga were not among the group, seeing their worried faces the clone was more sure of his deduction that one of the children had been kidnapped.

Yennefer was thinking that they wanted to disrupt her good times with Kakashi, every time she was interacting in a deeper way with him, these people were disrupting them, it seemed like they were doing it on purpose.

Even though she was angry she didn't let those feelings show on her face, putting on a fake smile she greeted them "What is the reason for this pleasant surprise", she was asking in the most pleasant way she could, but before getting an answer

Júlia hurriedly ran to them and gave the clone a big hug, "I'm glad you're okay, I thought something bad had happened to you", seeing that scene both the clone and Yennefer were confused by what was happening.

After the initial stupor, the clone soon thought about the possibility that perhaps someone had seen Kakashi being kidnapped, he would have to act quickly so that Júlia wouldn't say anything that could cause Yennefer to deviate, "As you can see, I'm fine" the clone didn't want that If the conversation lasted longer and took a compromising turn, he knew that Kakashi just wanted Yennefer to know about his actions, after he returned safely, he knew that the moment she found out what Kakashi was doing, she would go after him immediately. .

Doing his best to divert the topic of the conversation so that Yennefer wouldn't suspect anything, the clone tried to change the focus of that meeting, but it was too late, Yennefer had already realized that something was wrong.

Interrupting the two, Yennefer asked confused "What's going on here?", the clone quickly replied "It's no big deal Yen, she just had a bad dream and thought I was in danger."

Yennefer didn't believe his conversation, she noticed his strangeness, he didn't want to let the girl respond, Yennefer realized he was hiding something so she got angry.

"I believe she can answer for herself, I want the girl to tell me why she thought something bad had happened to you", Yennefer was staring at the girl.

Júlia wasn't intimidated if it was before the events in her village, she would have bowed her head to Yennefer, but she's not the same girl anymore and she didn't like the tone she used.

"Lady Yennefer, this happened because of my mistake, I found this medallion near the blood on the floor and be worried about Kakashi", Júlia showed the medallion that was in the shape of a feline's head to her, the clone quickly took the medallion from her her hand, but Yennefer had managed to see.

Yennefer knew something wrong was happening, it was very rare to find a Witcher, especially from the almost extinct cat school, so it would be almost impossible for that medallion to belong to someone other than Kakashi.

Turning her gaze she saw the identical medallion on the clone's neck, if it was just the medallion this could be explained in another way, but he reacted in an abnormal way when the girl said she was worried about him.

The doubts only increased in her frantically working mind, so she faced the clone with a face that showed that she would not accept lies at that moment "Kakashi, be honest with me, are you hiding something from me?", knowing that it would be a bad idea continues to hide what was happening from Yennefer, the clone decided to explain the truth.

The clone immediately wanted to explain the whole situation, "Yen, I didn't want to deceive you, but you have to understand I did it because...", before the clone could speak his side he disappeared in a white smoke, leaving everyone in the room was surprised by the event.

The only sound that was heard was that of the medallion falling to the floor.

Yennefer was confused, she didn't know what was happening, she had never seen a clone of Kakashi disappear in the world of illusion, Kakashi never needed to use a clone so Yennefer didn't know about his ability.

Unlike Yennefer, Júlia and part of her family knew what was happening and they were worried about Kakashi.

Looking at Julia's face, Yennefer was sure she knew what was going on, so she quickly walked over and spoke in an authoritative tone, "Tell me, girl, where is Kakashi."

His question brought Júlia out of her stupor, "I don't know where he is", she said with a slightly tearful voice, concern was noticeable in her voice, realizing this Yennefer became worried, "That's a lie, I see from your face and voice that do you know what is happening".

Julia couldn't think straight, the last time this happened, Kakashi appeared with his entire body injured between life and death, fearing that this time he was also in danger, Julia couldn't think straight about what to do, her lack of response it was making Yennefer furious and worried.

Noticing this Ilona intervened, "Calm down ma'am, my daughter really doesn't know where Kakashi is, the last information we had about him was last night when he left Karol's house alone", Yennefer realized that the woman said Kakashi was in the house of them last night, something impossible since she spent the entire night with Kakashi.

"You're lying Kakashi spent last night with me, I didn't lose sight of him for even five minutes, so it's impossible for him to have come to visit you", Ilona realizing that she would have to explain what she knew, which wasn't much since Pakkun didn't talk details about Kakashi's ability to them.

She then began to explain everything she knew, that Kakashi had this ability to create a clone of himself, which was identical and acted like him, she also said that it was not normal for a clone to simply disappear out of nowhere.

"Two days ago, something similar happened while we were heading towards this city, the clone simply disappeared in white smoke, Pakkun was with us at that moment so we asked what had happened, he explained to us that this only happened when Kakashi lost control or when he was badly injured", discovering that Kakashi was possibly in danger, she despaired.

Yennefer was very worried and angry at the same time, her heart was tight with worry, she knew what state Kakashi's body was in, if he was completely healthy, she wouldn't be so worried since Yennefer knew and trusted his abilities, but with the injuries he sustained, she was genuinely concerned for his safety.

Anger also dominated her, Kakashi chose to deceive her and put himself in danger, she would have a serious conversation with him after she found him, but first she had to do whatever she could to find him.

Turning around without giving them a second look and quickly going up the stairs, Yennefer called the maid and told her to wake Beau and tell him to go to his room.

Yennefer went to get what she needed to do a location spell, she wanted to find out where Kakashi was and how he was, she gathered everything she needed, but before she could start her spell, Yennefer was interrupted by Beau who hurriedly entered her room.

"I'm sorry for interrupting, but Jane told me you had something to talk to me about," Yennefer was normally cordial and respectful towards Beau since he was an influential nobleman and it was good to have a friendship that had its benefits, but this time she She didn't even turn to look him in the eye, she spoke to him as if Beau were her servant.

"Beau, go gather as many guards and men as you can from the city, we can't waste time it's urgent", Beau was unhappy with the way he was being treated, he knew something bad was happening Yennefer wouldn't treat him that way without good reason, so without asking anything he turned and hurried to gather as many men as possible.

Yennefer then began her spell, she began to visualize Kakashi's face and her concern increased, he had traces of dried blood on his face, Kakashi showed some signs of tiredness on his face, but he was not in immediate danger and that He reassured her, she was able to breathe a little better and calm down.

As this spell did not give the exact location of the target, Yennefer used a spell and created a ball of white energy that would guide her to Kakashi, she prepared herself by taking everything she could in preparation for the next battle.

So he went down and waited until Beau returned with all the help he could find, seeing the group Yennefer breathed a sigh of relief, luckily Beau managed to gather most of the city guard, some nobles and their personal guards and some merchants and their hired hands mercenaries, everyone who wanted to have a good relationship with Beau.

When the opportunity to strengthen their bonds arose, they took advantage, personally coming to his aid. They didn't know why Beau needed their help, but they didn't think twice about it.

Once there, Beau wanted to know the reason for Yennefer's request, "Yennefer, are you going to tell me why you asked me to gather all these men?", she knew she couldn't tell him the real reason why she asked him to gather men, even if being his friend would benefit Beau, he wouldn't risk his life and prestige for Kakashi.

Yennefer looked at him with confidence "I found out where the child kidnappers are, but we need to move quickly because otherwise they will escape", she knew it was a lie, there was no way simple criminals could capture Kakashi, she knew it must be a monster or a group of them, and Yennefer was taking them because if necessary, she would sacrifice them to save Kakashi.

Knowing that if she went alone and unprepared she could be captured or killed, she was not afraid of dying, but just thinking that Kakashi could die because of his arrogance took away her stupid idea of going alone, she planned to take these people to serve as sacrifice, if necessary.

Many nobles and merchants in the group were excited by the news that she had discovered the kidnappers' hiding place, as some of them had their children or relatives missing, they were overjoyed at the chance to rescue them.

Beau was suspicious, as he knew Yennefer's arrogance and way of acting, this was not her way of acting, she would never ask for support or help unless she knew she couldn't deal with the problem, he knew it wasn't a good news to them that Yennefer had asked for his help, but he also knew that this was a great opportunity to increase his influence, as Yennefer's deeds would be credited to him.

Thinking about the pros and cons of this action, Beau decides that he will go along, it was a good opportunity for him, and risking his life for benefits was something he always did to grow in his social circle.

So they formed a group that was under Beau's leadership and left following Yennefer's spell.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kakashi and the children he rescued had already been on their way to the city for at least two hours, the children seemed to be in a much better situation, the children were interacting with each other, talking relieved that they would finally be free, but they were still wary of Kakashi.
Who was completely focused on the path, looking for any possible threat that could appear, Kakashi then didn't worry about interacting or calming the children, he left that function to the adult women he rescued, Kakashi didn't want anything that could divert his attention, So he asked the women to calm the children and keep an eye on them.
He had not encountered any threats or anything suspicious up until that point, but that changed when his clone informed him that he had seen a group of men and armed guards from afar and that this group was heading towards him, Kakashi knew that this could be It's both good news and could also be bad news for them.
The clone didn't stay to properly observe the number of people or who the people in that group were, he knew that if it was an enemy group he would have to warn Kakashi so that he could hide the children and women as quickly as possible.
Knowing that it was better for him to personally verify what this group's intentions were, Kakashi had his group abandon the carriages and hide in the forest while his clones would protect them, Kakashi knew that if they were enemies his clone would not be able to buy enough time for them to fleeing, also knowing what it would be like to hide a group of that size, he decided to go in person.
Kakashi realized that something was affecting his clones, he had some hypotheses such as that this world had a small amount of chakra exhaled normally or it could also be his new state since his physique, mind and spirit were out of alignment, his body was that of a child, but his mind and spirit were that of an adult and this was destabilizing his chakra.
Knowing that his clones were not as reliable as they used to be and having no information about the strengths of possible enemies, he would have to act as decoy and investigator, this was the best solution at the moment.
If necessary, Kakashi could buy time for the clones to escape with the children and women.
After everyone hid, Kakashi stood on top of the cage where he trapped the two guards and the chief criminal.
Kakashi was waiting for the group that his clone saw and it didn't take as long as he expected so he could see them from afar, Kakashi observed them well and soon calmed down he could see Yennefer among the group, he then calmed down and relaxed knowing that he didn't he needed to go into combat again.
Even though he knew that the group was not hostile, he remained in a defensive position as Kakashi knew that some guards participated in the kidnapping of the children, thinking about the possibility of one of these guards trying to take someone hostage, Kakashi did not make the children come out of their hiding places. .
He would wait until he had full control of the situation.
The group had a much lower power of observation than Kakashi, they saw that there were three carts in the middle of the road, but they were only able to see the details when they got closer.
When Yennefer noticed the gray-haired boy on top of the cage with three men inside, she realized who he was and wanted to run using a portal towards him immediately, but then she thought it was strange, Kakashi had probably already seen her, so the fact that him not coming towards her showed her that something was wrong with the situation.
Yennefer first thought it was a trap or illusion, but this was broken when she realized from the movement of Kakashi's upper body that he was smiling at her, Yennefer then put aside her worries and headed towards him with her horse.
She went cautiously as she wanted to be prepared for a possible fight or flight.
Observing the state he was in, Yennefer once again became apprehensive about his health, she had only been able to see a glimpse of him when she used the spell to see if he was okay, but now seeing up close how he was covered in blood her worry grew, she even forgot her initial anger.
"I'm fine, Yen, apart from some of my wounds that opened due to exertion, I'm completely healthy", Kakashi noticed the concern on her face and tried to comfort her.
Yennefer didn't believe him, Kakashi hid many things from her, she wanted to check on her health in person, and after they returned to the room they would have a serious talk, she wouldn't let him get away without a good discussion this time.
Wanting to scold Kakashi at that moment for his injuries Yennefer displayed her dissatisfaction on her face, "Yen, now is not the time for an argument, later you can say what you want, but right now I still have work to do."
The group was confused by what was happening, they thought they were going after the kidnappers, but instead they realized they were tricked and went after a single boy, they were not happy with this situation, but within the group, there were three people that instead of being angry at having been deceived, they were afraid of being discovered.
The moment they saw the three men in the cage they realized that it would only be a matter of time, until they were discovered, they were thinking of a way to quickly leave that place, they would take advantage of the confusion created by the group's voices of disapproval and anger, to escape.
They were unaware that they were already under observation by Kakashi, who noticed the strange movement in the middle of the group and recognized the captain of the guards, and soon deduced that the other two were also part of the group of kidnappers from the way they were acting.
Kakashi wanted to capture them quickly, but Yennefer didn't let him leave the place until she confirmed that everything was fine with him.
Without caring about the dissatisfaction of the nobles and merchants in the group, Yennefer was more focused on checking Kakashi's body, after a thorough inspection she realized that everything was fine with him, the only complication were some wounds that opened due to her effort, but other than that he was healthy, she was very relieved that his life was not in danger.
Yennefer noticed that the wound on Kakashi's right chest had opened again, and she began to show her dissatisfaction with him, "Look at how your body is, almost all of your wounds were opened by your stupid attitude, do you want to kill yourself? That It's the only possible explanation, you've barely recovered from a state of near death and you're already putting yourself in danger again."
Her anger however did not subside so she still scolded him, until Kakashi interrupted her "Yen, I know you are not happy with my decisions, but we will talk about this later, I have more important things to do now", Kakashi then stood up and went towards the group.
"I am Kakashi and I am under Yennefer's care, I would like to thank you on Yennefer's behalf for coming to my rescue, but unfortunately the problem has not yet been resolved, among you there are people who sided with the kidnappers", Kakashi normally did not speak in such a formal and polite way, but he noticed the group's irritation and wanted to calm things down.
Once the expected result was achieved, he noticed that the group's anger decreased considerably, "Kakashi, you said there were kidnappers among us, do you know who they are?" Beau asked and Kakashi nodded.
"Yes I know their identities, the guard captain Renan and the two men at his side", the group became serious as Kakashi accused a person of great trust and influence like Renan of participating in the kidnappings.
"Boy, do you understand who you are accusing? I hope you have some proof to prove your words, because otherwise the punishment for those who falsely accuse a high-ranking official of the Kingdom is very severe", the attempt at intimidation did not work on Kakashi, " I understand how serious my words are, but I don't take back a single comma from them, they were in cahoots with the kidnappers."
Beau then turned his gaze to Yennefer, "Yennefer, do you trust this boy?", she nodded "I trust Kakashi with my life, I believe he is telling the truth", thinking about the possible consequences and benefits of his action, Beau decides take a risk and orders the arrest of the three.
The nobles were unsure of what to do, but they decided that the best approach was to temporarily arrest the three and if the boy was lying, they would place the blame entirely on him, so they ordered the three to be arrested.
Renan kicked and screamed saying that he was innocent, that the boy was lying and that they shouldn't trust someone who was close to a sorceress, after they restricted their movements, so they wouldn't run away Beau faced Kakashi, he was chosen as the natural leader of that group because he was the nobleman with the greatest authority in the place.
"Now can you show us your evidence?" Kakashi pointed to the three who were in the cages, "They are my proof, I captured the three after freeing all the captives, when we arrive in the city you can interrogate them."
Beau, still staring at Kakashi, said "Their words have little influence since they are criminals and traitors, you will need something more solid to condemn Renan", knowing that Beau was telling the truth since this was a world where connections were worth more than the truth.
"They're not my only proof, I still have testimony from the kidnapping victims," Beau realized something, "Do you know where the captives are?"
Kakashi then waved his hand ordering the clone to bring them, when everyone appeared and realizing the state they were in, the group felt anger and pity.
They felt angry at the criminals who made them this way, and sorry for the physical and psychological state these children were in.
The parents who recognized their children went towards them quickly, they hugged their children warmly.
"Boy, can you tell me where the other kidnappers are?", without caring much Kakashi replied "There are only the three left who are trapped in that cage", the group was confused by that information, then a small realization hit them so they were afraid.
"Are you saying you killed them all?", Kakashi simply agreed, Beau continued his questions "How did you find out that Renan was participating in the kidnappings?"
Pointing to the older man who was trapped in the cage Kakashi said "He told me everything", Beau was confused by this, "Are you telling me that a criminal simply told you that Renan was part of the group and you believed him?".
Beau knew that if he were alone it would be very difficult to convict Renan "I believed him, because he didn't seem to be lying, you know, I'm very good at getting the truth out of others", the group then saw the criminal's severed hand, and deduced how Kakashi got the truth, they were afraid of the boy and his methods seemed to be very brutal.
He wanted to ask Kakashi a few more questions, but Yennefer interrupted him saying that they could talk better after Kakashi was treated and healed.
After some more time of conversation, the group got together and went to Rinde.
