As he woke up, he found himself in that cellar, once more however, he was now in the hospital bed that Mizuki had once been bedridden in. As he struggled to get up, he found his body to be covered, in bandages that hid away the scars and injuries from that fight, not even the reverse cursed technique of professional doctors could fully heal him.

He looked over to see Mizuki herself sitting next to a wall, as Yukiko fell asleep on top of his legs. Then remembering the match outcome of the fight with Haoran tears began to leak from his eyes,

"I thought that maybe I could leave that past behind me. I thought that I had become stronger. Was I living in a delusion all this time?"

Mizuki noticing that he was awake asked him, "Sometimes when one goes through a great loss, that is when they realise the true value of the things that they once had."

"What do you mean?", he asked Mizuki.

She responded, "I think that you who has already lost everything once, is just scared to lose it all again. Maybe it's that fear that is holding you back?"

Akumu then told her, "Misoto-kun told me that if he ever died, then I should make new friends to laugh and cry with. He taught me that I should value and protect them at all costs. Are you saying it's that promise with him that's making me weak?"

Mizuki then told him, "It's just a thought. I am not too sure about it myself, but what I am sure of is that keeping such a promise will without a doubt be impossible."

Just before Akumu entered a heated argument about ethics with Mizuki, Yukiko slowly began to wake up. As she saw the conscious Akumu she immediately shouted his name while leaping into his arms. 

Then blushing for the first time Akumu asks her, "What are you doing??"

As he shouted that, Taori, Kenji, Hikaru, Yumeno, Omo and even Hagone all barged into the room. Yumeno immediately ran up to him while slapping him in the back of the head as she shouted,

"FIRST YOU LOSE THE FINAL ROUND, AND THEN YOU HAD TO GET ATTACKED IN YOUR SLEEP, NEXT YOU COMPLETELY MISS THE ENDING CEREMONY AND NOW YOU WAKE UP AFTER 7 DAYS???"

As floods of complaints entered his ears, he was shocked that even Taori who was meant to be the calmest of the group, was also angry at him. He weakly apologized to them, and thankfully they quickly forgave him. That was when he noticed something strange in what Taori said.

"I was attacked?" he asked.

That was when heavy footsteps began to enter the room revealing Katerina who had been hiding nearby this whole time, she then spoke,

"Do you remember that man in black who killed the original doctor and destroyed his synthesis machine?"

Akumu confirmed his memory of the entity.

7 days ago, right after Akumu is announced to have lost the match.

As the arena cheered for Haorans victory, Forsty Whipp then asked the Emperor for his thoughts on the match.

He simply responded with a stone-cold expression, "He simply followed through with his duties as the next king."

As Haoran finally fell back to the ground thinking that he could rest after all this time, he sensed a powerful presence emerge from behind him. As he turns around he sees nothing there, but then he sees a figure dressed in black standing over Akumu. In his right hand, he held a meat cleaver, dressed in white bandages covered in jet-black spots.

Haoran asked the man, "Who are you?"

He simply responded, "I wouldn't have been able to enter here if you hadn't opened a hole in this empty barrier. For this, I give you my thanks."

He raises the sharps side of the cleaver, over Akumus's neck before striking down with terrifying force. As he did so a long red and gold stick hits him from behind pushing him away from the unconscious boy. He then shouted,

"A worthy attempt with your remaining strength, but for the sake of the future this boy must die!"

The man dashed towards Akumu once again preparing to decapitate his head with the cleaver. Suddenly a sudden chill began to fill the air. In the millisecond before he struck, he heard the words,

"Ice Formation: Frost Calm."

As quickly dodges out of the way, a large pillar of ice immediately spawns from just in front of Akumu, Shielding him. The Wall then shatters revealing an incredibly angry Frosty Whipp. He then mutters,

"First these people break all the empty barriers that took me months to set up, and then you go and break in. Tell me your name so that I can savour your death when I kill you."

For the first time since his appearance, this was the first time the audience saw his anger, and even more unfathomably his Cursed Technique.

The masked mystery man then shouted, "My name is Shin, the saviour of this world and I come with a prophecy. Saigo Akumu will be the one to end this world, and it's only with his death that this future can be averted."

Suddenly the once cheerfully Frosty Whipp began to melt revealing an appearance that looked more human. His eyes and hair were just as white as the ice and snow that he created, as they wore a large blue jacket that reached to their knees. 

This was Frosty Whipps, true appearance but at the same time, it wasn't?

"I only use this form for combat, so prepare to die."

"Ice Formation: Icefall."

As he slammed his palm into the ground, pillars of ice began to fly in the direction of Shin. Surprisingly the man was able to dodge them all with relative ease. Frosty Whipp with great speed manifested a sword of ice in his hand while appearing in front of Shin. Just before she pierced his face however a rain of black swords began to fall from the sky. As the two dodged another figure then spawned out of nowhere behind shin. He then said cheerfully,

"Now now. You can't interrupt someone who's sleeping. That's incredibly rude."

Before Shin had a chance to react the man instantly, patted his back, instantly flipping him away from reality. He then said to Frosty Whipp,

"Don't worry he isn't dead. I just put him in timeout for a bit. Tell the sleeping beauty over there when he wakes up that Senjuro thinks you're going in the wrong direction."

Frosty Whipp quickly attempts to freeze Senjuro, but he disappears just as quickly as he came.

back to the present day

Akumus' demeanour quickly became sour, as he realised he had missed his opportunity to fight that man. Yet despite his current emotions, he wondered how Maria had felt, now seeing his father's murderer with her own two eyes.

Omo then spoke up, "I do have some good news to lighten up the room with. I was able to talk to the director of school and... He was nice enough to give all of you guys a booking at the Jinsei hotel that's all the way down in Izumo."

Hikaru started jumping up and down like a dog while shouting, "THE LEGENDARY 5 STAR HOTEL RESORT???????"

The confused Akumu asked him what kind of a place it was. But Yumeno quickly interrupted him, "It's the highest-reviewed resort currently in Japan. Just spending one night there will apparently cleanse and relax your whole body. Some rumours say that you can leave them as an entirely different person."

Compared to everyone else Taori was a little shaken by that fact, which was clearly visible in her pale appearance. She quickly left the room, without leaving behind a trace. However, Kenji notices and chases after her quickly.

Omo then points at Yukiko and Hagone while stating, "You 2 didn't fight in the tournament so you can't come."

The two began to sulk while looking at the ground. That was when Akumu noticed the disappearance of a certain swordsman, and so he asked everyone,

"Where is Arthur?"

Hagone then told him, "He had to take care of some stuff back in England so he probably won't be able to come back to school for a long while."

Meanwhile on Kenjis end

Kenji shouted towards Taori, "Where are you going??"

She quickly halted before telling Kenji, "I can't come with you guys, I'm going straight back to school."

Kenji asked her why, so Taori asked them, "You better keep what I tell you a secret. My parents are important figures in that hotel, however they kicked me out of the family. I was able to enter Jujutsu Tech as a sorcerer, so I'm scared of how they will see me if I return to them now."

Kenji responded, "I don't know what kind of relationship you have with your parents, but if they don't consider you family anymore just know that you still have a family in Jujutsu Tech."

Kenji then ran up to her while grabbing both her arms flustering Taori. He shouts, "No matter what happens I will always take your side, so please come with us!"

Taken aback by Kenji's words, she nods her head slowly while wiping away some of her hidden tears.
