A Decades Worth Of Suffering, Ended

Suddenly the effects of the domain began to affect Akumu too. He fell to the magnetised floor along with, Grant as they both spat out controllable amounts of blood. As he struggled to breathe he felt his consciousness fading as not enough blood could reach his brain.

Xiaoyu then slowly walked up to Grants', almost dead body while saying, "Thank you for keeping him still long enough. But now it's time that both of you die."

As the power of magnetism increased, Akumus's skin began to tear as his blood, became even more attracted to the ground. His organs began to rearrange and twist causing irreparable wounds that would be sure to kill any human.

However Grant on the other hand was perfectly fine. He slowly stood up while remaining unaffected by the Magnetism. In fact, it seemed like he had even healed. The worried Xiaoyu suddenly jumped back while amplifying the use of magnetism on Grant. She then shouted,

"I will focus all of my power on killing you!"

As she said that, the magnetic power that affected Akumu disappeared, and then redirected to Grant. As the purple sparks of lighting, concentrated on him he still remained completely affected.

He then said, "Im using Domain Amplification to cancel out the effect of your Cursed Technique. I then healed my body with Reverse Cursed Technique leaving me completely unharmed."

Then suddenly the space of the barrier began to crack slowly revealing parts of the outside world. Xiaoyu could no longer keep her Domain Expansion open. As the domain gradually fell apart, Grant then said,

"It would be really impolite of me if I didn't show you my full power after you gave it your all. So right now I will show you the likes of Jujutsu Sorcerery that you won't live long enough to achieve."

As he said that, he crossed both his arms while chanting. As he did so Akumu instantly opened his black palace to try to restrain the man, however that did not stop him. Xiaoyu on the other attempted to fly away realising the difference in power between them.

Grant said calmly, "Domain Expansion: Harrowing Physicality Of Dawn."

As black all-encompassing force then slowly expanded from his position, quickly devouring the group. As Akumu opened his eyes, he found himself in an empty grass field, where the wind seemed to be blowing quite hard. Unusually, the time went from midnight to midday.

Realising that his death was imminent, he jumped at Grant, putting his all into a single black spear that he manifested. As he prepared to pierce him from behind he felt a sudden force, pull him back and throw him into the sky.

As he flew upwards against his will he suddenly changed directions making him accelerate towards the ground creating a massive crater.

Xiaoyu seeing that she was next, tried to use her magnetism, to control Grant at the last minute, but then suddenly, the rebound from using her Domain Expansion finally hit her as she began to cough up lots of blood.

She tried to get back up and open her simple domain, against his invisible attacks but then suddenly Grant teleported behind her and tapped her on the shoulder.

Just before Akumu hit the earth he encroached his body in black whips shielding him from the impact. As he climbed out of the crater he was surprised to find himself, and Grant to be the only remaining people in the domain.

He then asked, "What did you do to Xiaoyu???"

He replied, "My Cursed Energy is much finer than others. As a result, I can weave it into very thin strings that can easily slice or restrain objects!"

Akumu shouted at him, "Answer my question! What did you do to Haorans' Sister??"

He continued to ramble while stretching his arms out, "My Cursed Technique, however, is called Celeritas. It allows me to control and break Isaac Newton's Laws of Motion. I can change the direction of force acting on my body causing it to rapidly change directions without decelerating, destroying Newton's first law of motion. By increasing that force with Cursed Energy I can also increase my acceleration, breaking Newton's second law."

Akumu no longer caring about the enemy's words, charged at him without a care in the world. He attempted to interrupt him by using his piercing black attack. Then suddenly, another invisible force, pulls him to his side, sending him flying away.

Grant continued to speak while unbothered by his rudeness, "My Domain Expansions' guaranteed hit effect allows me to manipulate the laws applied to other people. If I wanted to I could apply this to your individual body parts to slowly tear you apart."

Akumu quickly recovering shouted, "WHAT DID YOU DO!??"

Grant responded as a sinister smile spread across his face, "I sent her flying into the earth's atmosphere at Mach 7. By the time I close my domain, her dead body would probably be floating in the middle of the Ocean!"

As he said that with the expression of a madman, Akumu began to be overtaken by despair. This person was at another level of strength that went higher than Mozu who had stolen the power of Sukuna. As he understood the difference in strength between him and Grant he then thought, "That means Senjuro could be stronger than this guy??"

Understanding that his death was near Akumu froze in fear. "I'm going to die... Without even killing Senjuro... I managed to make some friends in my time here, but that doesn't change the fact that I couldn't avenge you Misoto... Im so sorry."

As he closed his eyes expecting his eventual demise, suddenly he heard the sound of glass shattering. The second he opened his eyes, he saw a lean but fit man wearing ripped clothing that appeared to be way too short for him, jump through a crack in the sky that he had created. The crack in question seemed to lead to the outside world.

The man then shouted, "ARE YOU REALLY GIVING UP HERE AKUMU??? AFTER I CHOSE YOU TO CARRY EDEN, YOU TRY TO DISAPPOINT ME LIKE THIS??"

Hearing those words, a spark suddenly ignited in him. Akumu then shouted, "Urushi??"

Akumus determination had been relit. He still had attachments to this world. So long as those remained, then he wouldn't allow himself to die.

Grants' Domain Expansion was vulnerable to attacks from the outside like all Domains. Since Urushi had broken in from the outside, Grants' Cursed Technique was temporarily disabled. The path to victory now shined in front of Akumu which he could see glow oh so brightly.

As Urushi landed in front of Grant shocking him slightly, he backed away still in a daze. He hadn't expected things to turn out this way. As he tried to escape, Urushi grabbed his right arm, while delivering a barrage of blows to his left rib cage, causing Grant to cough up blood once again. Urushis' grip even broke his wrist.

Akumu, then sliding past the two stealthily, attempted to grab onto EDEN that Grant stashed away in his pocket. Then using his free left hand, Grant released, Strings from each finger that spiralled towards Akumu, threatening to pierce his head and kill him.

However, a long set of chains suddenly appeared from the crack in the sky, blocking the set of strings before being promptly cut through.

Luckily though, they manage to block the strings, just long enough for, Akumu to swipe EDEN away.

As the two retreated from Grant, the shell of the barrier completely collapsed returning the group to the outside world. Suddenly, a woman with brown hair randomly joins the two.

Akumu then asked, "Who is she?"

"She's just an ally," Urushi said while still looking at the enemy.

Urushi then demanded him, "You have EDEN in your hands now. If you inject it into yourself you will gain the ultimate power. You could probably beat Gojo Owari... Maybe even Sukuna from 100 years ago if you use it. I don't have a lot of time left in this state, quickly inject it into yourself and then go defeat Botan."

As he said all of this, Akumu opened the Steel casing releasing EDEN, from its shell. He then pulled out a clean silver syringe that contained a mysterious yellow liquid.

As Grant saw this he quickly healed his broken bones and Injuries with Reverse Cursed Technique while dashing towards Akumu as fast as he could. However, it was too late for him.

Akumu promptly crushed the syringe with great force. As the glass shards cut the palms of his hands causing light bleeding, the yellow liquid that contained the Nanomachines, dripped and splashed to the floor. Eventually soaking into the earth.

As he did this Grant suddenly halted in his tracks while observing the interesting turn of events.

Urushi and Tsubaki in shock asked, "Why did you do such a thing???"

Akumu then said, "This tool was originally going to be used as a weapon of suffering. Not only had wars almost been caused because of it, but so many lives had been taken as well just to give it existence. This power is something that no human should have! Not even me!"

As he said that Urushi looked towards the still murky black clouds. In it, he saw the silhouette of his dead friend, Hasahi ascend to heaven. A small tear then fell from his left eye as smoke slowly emitted from his body. He began to burst out laughing while shouting, "Did you see that Hasashi??? He went and broke it anyway!"

As he did so the smoke grew as it engulfed his body. When it cleared up it revealed, Urushis' older form. The effects of his Cursed Technique had worn off.

He then said while panicking, "If that Butler attacks us now, even with all three of us here we might lose! We better hootfoot out of here before he decides to attack."

Witnessing the events, Grant sighed heavily before saying, "Im unsure how to feel about this. This is the first time that I have ever failed a task since working for Senjuro."

Akumu then shouted at him, "What was Senjuro planning to do with EDEN??"

Grant responded, "I have no obligation to tell you. However, for beating me, I will be gracious enough to bestow upon you some knowledge of mine. Senjuro was the one who placed that bounty on your head. It seems that he did it to try to convince some new guy to join us however, it looks like that plan will fail."

Grant then feeling energised comments, "My Cursed Technique has been returned to me. It's about time that I take my leave."

As he slowly rose to the sky Akumu shouted at him, "WAIT. COME BACK HERE, YOU NEED TO PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO HAORANS' SISTER."

Grant responded to him before disappearing, "If you want to fight me again so badly then come to, Tsushima Island."

As he finished, he quickly disappeared leaving behind a multitude of sonic booms in his wake, alerting the whole city.
