J-Stars Online

Hunter King is a saiyan. Yes, a Saiyan. One of the legendary races of anime history, in a world that was structured off each paperback and small screen legend from the land to the east. Unfortunately, while that may sound exhilarating, he has awoken in the world of Ataraxia with no memory of he who was prior, with only his own nature and surroundings as a guide. Determined to survive in this harsh new world, Hunter carves out a name for himself by doing what his very blood demands; Battle the strongest foes and defeat them. All for one single goal. To power up.

Frieza Force On The Move!

Hunter looked around and did not find anything he could use that was easy, like a lighter. There was rubbing wood together with two sticks or using a stone, and that seemed to be his only option.

Right now, the carcass was bleeding, and the blood was beginning to smell funny. As such, he quickly used the sticks method and began rubbing them. To his credit, having such a powerful body made it very easy to use friction to light the fire.

Soon, he got a nice flame going and then began to roast the chunks of meat he ripped off. He did not have any condiments, so he could only eat the meat as it was, and it tasted terrible.

Have you ever tried to eat meat with salt or seasonings? You would definitely not be able to tolerate it, but as they always said, hunger was the best spice. Hunter was famished beyond human reason and finished all the meat before him.

He didn't even really taste the food; his stomach was too busy growling and protesting for sustenance. By the time he was done, Hunter's mouth was covered with blood and fat while the deer had been stripped to its bones.

He was greatly appalled by his appetite and realized that this was going to be a problem he would have to deal with going forward. This understandably put a lot more pressure on him, and Hunter could no longer be as casual.

He put out the fire and looked to the sky, finally deciding to take flight. The reason he hadn't done so before was basically stupid because he subconsciously felt like it was impossible, and if he tried, he might realize he was dreaming and wake up.

Hunter had only been in this world and this new body for a few hours and was thoroughly enraptured, not wanting to go back to whatever life he had before. However, now that he had to consider more than just his selfish desires, he had to find a nearby settlement fast and get information about this world.

Hunter instinctively felt a strange energy run through his system that originated from his navel and spread throughout his body, leaking out of his pores. Like in that visual he had earlier, a white aura that was spiky in nature exploded around him, and he felt his body become light as a feather.

He shot into the sky with ease and rose to a height that allowed him to look in all directions for as far as he could see. He noticed that the white aura dispersed when he stopped ascending, but his body remained light and stable while in the sky.

Hunter finally looked around and saw that there was a forest in all directions within a few kilometers, with a distant mountain range to the north, a giant sea to the south, and plains to the east and west where the forest broke.

He even saw some rivers and lakes that wound through the forest and allowed the wildlife within to survive. Hunter felt the sun blaze down on his skin as he was high in the air and had no canopy to protect him, but it only made him feel warm.

The breeze up here was cool and distinct, the air fresh and filled with life. Floating in the air, able to see everywhere around him, Hunter didn't know how to describe how he felt. This felt natural and at the same time, awe-inspiring.

Suddenly, Hunter sensed something and noticed a giant spaceship descending from the clouds above and coming to hover over the forest area. Hunter turned to face it and became solemn because he could sense very high power levels in that spaceship, and one of them made him feel fear.

The spaceship itself was strange; it was shaped like a disc, with strange yellow windows surrounding its rim, and it moved by spinning around. A hatch opened beneath the ship, and a few smaller ships with plane-like designs came out, followed by hundreds of humanoids.

When Hunter sensed their power levels, he was not too worried because they were significantly weaker than his, but they could also fly and wore some strange armor. The moment he saw them, a memory flashed in Hunter's mind and words came to mind.

"Frieza Force!"

And once he said this, he got the feeling that he could not entangle with these fellows for too long, lest he end up in a severe situation. After all, while many were weaker than him, their sheer numbers were enough to pile him to death.

Naturally, Hunter turned and flew in the opposite direction at the fastest speed, which was towards the mountain ranges in the distance. It seemed like he was a target of these enemies but not a major one, as three smaller ships and 25 humanoids immediately flew after him at full speed.

The rest spread out and descended into the forest while heading to the sea and the plains as if searching for something, splitting into groups of equal numbers.

Unfortunately for Hunter, his flight was only at the first level, so while he was moving quite quickly, he was soon caught up by the smaller ships and surrounded him tightly in a formation.

One of them opened a speaker and spoke towards Hunter in a condescending tone.

"Stop right there, Saiyan! We are members of the Frieza Force here on a hunting mission! Surrender and follow us back to the ship to meet Lord Appule, and your life may be spared!"

Hunter gritted his teeth and somehow knew deep down that he could never trust these people, nor end up in their hands. For some reason, he knew that his fate if he was captured would be one worse than death, so he naturally ignored them and kept moving.

"How dare you! Take him down!" The voice shouted with anger.

Immediately, the ships released three humanoids, one with blue skin and two with orange skin who were very similar to humans but had some special features. They immediately blocked in front and behind Hunter, while one of them grinned maliciously and tapped the side of his face, which had some sort of mechanical eye patch.
