Maelstrom, that was an ominous name but looking up at the wild clouds it did have the right ring to it. Sael pondered what to do. She had said it was a combination of matter, ether, and mana in a wild combination. Ether and mana, those were two things he had questioned after gaining the evoker class. Gregory was about the only one able to give him anything substantial. Ether was neither matter nor energy but something completely different. In fact, all matter and energy were made up of it. Mana was also neither matter nor energy but not made of Ether either. Gregory called it divine will, it was the force that manipulated and shaped ether into all of creation. Mages were just ones that had the tiniest bit of that supreme willpower within them.
