As the bear left I dropped to my knees ,my legs lost all their strength from the disbelief and shock that I just received but I slowly calmed down and began to rationalize the situation ,and after that I had a realisation

The guild's inn was comparable to a noble's mansion in size but was designed as any luxury hotel , being exclusively made for adventurer's it was basically the home of the state's adventurer in a way

The rooms where an adventurer stayed depending on their ranks were either below average, average or luxurious and some facilities were also opened only for higher ranked adventurers and naturally there were no Revs here

Julett who was lying in her room after dinner was meditating and regulating her aura distribution, however unlike the usual days her mind was currently tormented by various events of past few days

{ To think a B-rank demon overpower me like that }(opens her eyes)

" I have a long way to go { And Chris }-(smiles)-{ a spirit huh } (stands up and slept on her bed ) it's gonna be a tough futer that awaits our party it seems (sighs) "

From her bed she grabbed the book that was on top of her drawer ,it was a book on spirits, written by a different author however,after being busy through the whole evening,she managed to get her hands on this after asking about it from her uncle the guild master, she was rather surprised about how rare her uncle said the book was and how rare spirits are themselves

" Hehehe(giggles) { This is rather funny,he always was such a strange guy but now he's beyond strange } poor guy , anyway { Thanks to my photographic memory,it shouldn't take long to master this book } "

Opening my tired eyes I took the book on spirits that was on my face away and looked at my roof

Important spirit characteristics

• A spirit can't age but can still die .

• The older spirits get the stronger they are by nature however a spirit can get stronger faster by efforts and merit too .

• Spirits can human food but can survive without it too as long as there is mana for them to consume through breathing ,they also don't excrete any waste.

• A spirit's affinity towards it's elemental affinity is 10 times more potent than humans and 5 times more potent than elves .

• Spirits cannot break promises that they made, any promise made by a spirit is akin to a soul contract .

• Spirits are good at singing and other things related to music, all spirits are naturally gifted in music and melodies .

• Spirits can talk to all living beings ,they are not troubled by the barriers of languages .

• Spirits can travel between dimensions from our world back to theirs ,the spirit world, however a spirit born in our world is not allowed entrance into the spirit world

" It's good that I don't need to eat since mana is naturally everywhere but { I honestly don't want to live that long } ..."

Imagining all of the people who he held dear get old and die while he alone remains left Chris with a somber and uneasy expression and mood, being left alone after his parents died ,he knew how lonely one could get ,no he was afraid of knowing how much lonlier he could get.

Doing a kip up he instantly stood on and went to wash his face as he made a decision to focus on the present as no matter what he did

Chris stood infront of the whole party from his seat that was at the corner and asked Merwin again

" I have a request to ask you so please Merwin can you meet at my house in the afternoon?(pleads) "

Ginna :( eyes Chris real hard ){ Only her?? Suspicious}

Merwin :" { All of a sudden}( felt uncomfortable} What is the reason Chris ?"

Sunip and Meina were locking on the conversation with great interest in the wrong way meanwhile Julett and Jan were ready to take Chris's side as they could already guess the reason in it

Chris :" Can you lend me an ear then? "

Merwin :" Okay? "

With that Chris got to her seat and whispered into her ear under the crowd of adventurers who didn't care about the whole thing in any way

Chris :" Don't overreact and please listen to me ,I need you teach me magic "

Merwin suddenly widened her eyes but didn't overreact as per Chris's words ,she simply backed offa bit looked at Chris in his eyes and asked

" Does this have anything to do with the incident last time ? Did you notice something change? "

Chris smiled and replied

" Yup ! Big change ! "

Merwin then looked at Julett who as if knowing what she was about to ask declared

" Today after breakfast,only me, Mina ,Jan ,Sunip, Riv and Ginna will take some C rank quest, the next B rank quest will be taken by us after a week so the rest of you guys can focus on training ,okay? ".

Nemu :" Sweet ! I approve "

Ginj :" No problem with me "

Thena :" No problem as well, (eyes Chris and Merwin) have fun in your date today "

Merwin :" (glares at Thena)That's not funny you know "

Merwin then turned her gaze back to Chris and replied to his request

Merwin :" Till 4:00 pm "

Chris nodds and sat back down as they are their food together for a change ( Chris and Mina usually eat at his home and at the church respectfully )

And Merwin who was eating along with the others turned her gaze to Chris who was eating and thought to herself about his words

She looked at Chris with mana vision to check his body for traces of mana and

" Arrg!!! "

Thena :" Woah! Girl here have some water!! "

Ginna :" Eat slowly dumbasss "

Merwin :" (coughs coughs coughs) Ehem!! Thanks Thena, I guess I ate too much at once haha "

The party members all went back to eating after giving Merwin their own remark ,but Merwin wasn't listening right now ,what she saw left her unable to think of other things as of the moment as she looked at her food
