Chapter 222: Looking at the new houses

After saying goodbye, Bai Yi Yang and Ru Qing finally left. If they are fast, they can arrived there by 9.20 am. Actually, Bai Yi Yang also never have been to that place, if not because Old man Cui need to send Grandma Cui, he was going to show her personally.

They will go to The Eve's Residence first which situated near the city centre, it is not very far from here. Then they will go to the condominium complex at the university area. Old man Cui have given Bai Yi Yang the card and keys last night.

"Miss Bai, are they your relatives?" Ru Qing ask cautiously. She actually doesn't know much about Bai Yi Yang, but someone who is able to buy two house at the same time is not easy. What more, it's The Eve's Residence. She have only heard about her senior who have done work there before, even the smallest is more than 1.5 million, what more a 135 square meter house. She is actually glad that she got the job, it's all thanks to Bai Yi Yang who specifically ask for her, even if her senior in the company is jealous that she got the job, they can't rob it from her.

"En, you can say that." Bai Yi Yang didn't deny it. The old couple is so good to them siblings, they are better than most of their relatives.

"Do you know the place?" Bai Yi Yang ask. Ru Qing have been driving without asking her the house location.

"I know, I know. I have passed through the main gate of The Eve's Residence before. I know the condominium complex at the university area too, they are newly built." Ru Qing said. Don't say she didn't do her assignments, when Bai Yi Yang called her last time for the job, she immediately made her research about the two places.

A 135 meter square house at The Eve's Residence is only number 2 below the penthouse, it's between the 21st to 24th floor of each building. There will be a balcony, 3 bedrooms with 1 master bedroom with walk in closet and huge bathroom, and the area that she need to cover is huge too. She actually have a bit of pressure taking this job but this is a very good chance, it will be like painting on two blank canvas.

"En, then I am assured." Bai Yi Yang nod and smile lightly.

Along the way, they chat a bit, it was mainly Ru Qing telling Bai Yi Yang how she have got more work after working with Bai Yi Yang, what more, she said that she is very glad that she got this job. When they arrived at the entrance, Bai Yi Yang show her residence card to the guard and the guard open the barrier. The safety is quite good.

When they drive into the area, there were actually lots of greenery, and even the road is huge, there are two lanes going one way so there are a total of 4 lanes with pedestrians and bicycle lane on both sides, they drive for 2-3 minutes before arriving at the condominium complex, there are 4 buildings in total, even the shape of the building is carefully designed. The whole area looks very peaceful in general.

Bai Yi Yang step out of the car with Ru Qing after parking their car at the visitors area, there weren't much car since all the residence gets to park their car at a designated area for each building, they have to walk a bit.

The 4 building is actually interconnected by walkways, in the middle of the 4 buildings is a park, a size of half a football field, there are some children there playing at the playground and some parents who is sitting at the benches.

There are some signboards which shows the direction, the front desk or management office will be at each building, the house they purchased is in Building 3 so as they head there Bai Yi Yang looks around while they head to the management office, have to say, the place is really clean, the air is good too because of the greenery surrounding it. This place is really isolated from the bustling busy city even though it is right at the centre.

"Hello, how may I help you?" A female staff in her 30s greet them when they enter the lobby. It's actually doesn't differ much from a hotel, there are even waiting area near the lifts.

"Hello, I am a new residence here." Bai Yi Yang smile and took out her residence card.

"Ah, Miss Bai." The female staff smile. Bai Yi Yang nod.

"We have been informed. My name is Ling Zhao, I will bring you to look at the house." The female staff said. She is wearing a formal black suit with knee length skirt, a bit similar to Ru Qing style.

"I will appreciate it." Bai Yi Yang nod.

Ling Zhao step out from her post and went to the elevator to press the button going up. While waiting, Bai Yi Yang look around the lobby area that she thinks is not necessary at all. Her opinion and TongTong is similar regarding this.

"Are there underground parking?" Bai Yi Yang ask since there is a button going down.

"Yes. Each building have designated underground parking for each residence, 2 parking spots for each unit. Miss Bai, your house will be at the 22nd floor, number 3-221, if you enter the underground parking you will see the parking slot. Extra vehicles need to be parked at visitor area or you can purchase another parking spot underground." Ling Zhao said and Bai Yi Yang nod, quite satisfied with it.

When the elevator arrived, Ling Zhao tap her card and press 22nd floor.

"When you use the elevator, tap your card here and you will have access to the Underground Parking, this lobby which is at Ground floor, your own unit at the 22nd floor and the Rooftop where there are lounge area and swimming pool. As for the other facilities we have, we have gymnasium on the 1st and 2nd floor in Building 1, it's for every residents here. Then, behind Building 4, there are outdoors court, we have tennis and basketball court. We also have jogging and bicycle trails within The Eve's Residence. As for the park in the middle, you must have seen it too, there are children playground and outdoor gyms." Ling Zhao explain.

Ding! In no time, they arrived at the 22nd floor. The first thing they saw is the emergency exit and some fire extinguisher box.

"This is the emergency exit. Let me bring you to your unit. This way." Ling Zhao said. The interior really look quite luxurious and new and seems like their unit is the only one in this floor.

"This house has been empty since the condominium complex is open but we still send people to clean it frequently." She add. They arrived at the door and Ling Zhao tap the card to open the door. The house is really empty, there are no single furniture, the wall is at its most basic white colour.

Ling Zhou bring them inside and show how security system work, how other people from outside won't have access to their floor as long as they didn't allow it, the security system is really good, what more they are not sharing one floor with other people.

The air conditioning and lighting is already pre installed, Ru Qing already start taking not of all these, the measurements, light placement and all. Once you enter the house, the living room is the first you will see with floor to ceiling glass window, it can be opened and there is about 10 square meter balcony. The kitchen is not as big as the one in their house, it is connected to the living room too, there is already build in countertops but Bai Yi Yang wanted to add small island countertop too later.

Then, the master bedroom with floor to ceiling window is quite huge with a walkway towards the walk in closet and further in is the bathroom with bathtub, the master bedroom is really the best. The other two bedrooms is nice too, they have build in bathroom but not as big as the one in the master bedroom, there is build in closet in the wall too, Bai Yi Yang like this concept very much. House like this will look very tidy, it's just that there is no extra room for storage and so on. But, that won't be necessary, their main house will always be the one in Qinfang village, this is like a hotel where they can stay for a few days while in City Nan.

While Bai Yi Yang is busy asking Ling Zhao this and that, Ru Qing is busy taking pictures and measurements. She also has started making sketches while waiting for Bai Yi Yang to look around the swimming pool and underground parking area.

"Have you take everything?" Bai Yi Yang ask when she came back to the house alone.

"Yes, taken everything and I also found some pictures of similar theme as Miss Bai wanted." Ru Qing said. Bai Yi Yang told her that she wanted a minimalistic interior design for this house, inside out, she already have a plan in mind.

"En, keep it for later. If you are ready, let's move to the next location." Bai Yi Yang said. Ru Qing nod and while heading to the next location, Ru Qing mentioned a few things to Bai Yi Yang, about her ideas and Bai Yi Yang preference too.

When they arrived at the next condominium complex near the university, the security is still very good but the area is smaller than the previous one, there more buildings too, at the front side is 3 buildings with two wings and behind are 4 tall buildings. The arrangement is quite simple, Building number 7 is the most further inside, the parking is also outdoors, there are no underground parking like The Eve's Residence.

Their house is at Building 1 so Bai Yi Yang told Ru Qing find a parking at that area. Unlike The Eve's Residence which is more towards the quieter side and exclusive, this condominium complex has more people, at least that's how the number of car look like. Even the visitors area has a lot of cars.

The two step out and head in, they met a mother and child on the way out of the building who talked to them.

"Just moved in?" The lady ask.

"Yes. Do you know where the management office is?" Bai Yi Yang ask politely.

"Oh, it's the small building behind the guard's post. Why? Is there problem in your house? When we moved in thankfully our house is okay." The lady ask again.

"I just moved in, don't we need to register for some of the facilities? And parking." Bai Yi Yang ask.

"Oh. The swimming pool is accessible to everyone, so does the park and playground. In our building, it's just behind there. As for the parking, which one is your unit, I can show you." The lady said.

"Unit 1-21-B." Bai Yi Yang took out her card and read.

"Ah, so you occupied one of the houses at the top? Then, I don't really know. We rent on the 5th floor. How about this, I give you the management office number." The lady said and took out her phone. She look a few more time at Bai Yi Yang, no wonder she exude some kind of different aura, so she is one of the people who own the big houses on the top floor.

"Thank you." Bai Yi Yang nod. After that, the lady and her daughter leave to the swimming pool, it's just behind the building.

Bai Yi Yang made a call to the management office, when they heard her unit number, they immediately said that they will come over. Bai Yi Yang agree to wait at the house later. The concept is the same, since Bai Yi Yang unit is on the right wing, so she take the elevator at the right side, there are two elevators for each wing of the building, so there are a total of 4 elevators in one building, which is quite a lot. The security system is a bit lax here, they can press the floor without using the card. When they arrived at the 21st floor, their unit is the only one there. Bai Yi Yang tap the card and enter the house.

It was quite similar, empty too, it's just that the layout is a bit different. When the door is opened, there is a kitchen bar counter on the left and the kitchen is also that area, its at the same one big space as the living room. The living room also have a balcony. Then going to the left side is the two huge bedroom, the size is same with the master bedroom in the other house.

Different from the previous one, Bai Yi Yang wanted a Scandinavian style theme for this house but she also wanted some pop of colours. The other house is already a bit dull in colour so she wanted this one to be more fun, what more, Bai Yi Chen is going to use this house later for study so it mustn't be too dull. Ru Qing gets busy again, in the middle, someone from the management office came. He introduced himself and bring Bai Yi Yang to look around, there is nothing much so the tour is short. When Bai Yi Yang return, Ru Qing is already finished.

Since the necessary things is done, they decided to go to a café to discuss about the design. Now is already 10.37 am, so they just look for a nearby café and start discussing. Based on the theme that Bai Yi Yang wanted, Ru Qing show her pictures as examples.

Bai Yi Yang fancy the ultra-modern minimalistic look with theme colour of white, black, grey and taupe together, this is for the house at The Eve's Residence. If it were her alone, white based colour should be okay but there are children in her family, it has to look modern and luxurious but it won't be suitable if the children can't even eat their snacks on the couch. So the colour of the couch is important, she mentioned this things to Ru Qing too.

They discussed over drinks and some dessert, it was then that Bai Yi Yang got a call from Zhang Yong. So he found out that she come to City Nan in the end because of Mr.Feng. Mr.Feng didn't saw her at home and Second Zhou ends up telling him Bai Yi Yang whereabouts. However Bai Yi Yang can only tell Zhang Yong the truth that she only have some business and will return this afternoon.

"Can't stay even until tomorrow?" Zhang Yong ask.

"Young master Zhang, I didn't come to play." Bai Yi Yang said with a laugh.

"Then let's have lunch together, I will send you to the bus station later." Zhang Yong said again.

"Nope, I already promised Grandpa and Grandma Cui, they will send me too. Next time." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Alright. If I know I will be too busy managing Natural Grocery, I wouldn't have step in at the first place." Zhang Yong finally give up asking.

"Nonsense. I have a something to do now, catch up later." Bai Yi Yang only laugh. She didn't talk long with him since she still have stuff to discuss with Ru Qing.

The two of them discuss from choosing colour, materials, furniture and determining which one can be made by Bai Yi Yang passed 12.00 pm before Ru Qing send Bai Yi Yang home. They are aiming to finish the one at The Eve's Residence first before proceeding with the other.

Many things need to be clarified first, the design and price of the items, so they didn't settle the payment first. Ru Qing told Bai Yi Yang that she will come to meet her again, they will have to set the time later. Bai Yi Yang also leave the key to Ru Qing so that it is easier for her to check out the place herself.
