Chapter 2 First life

"Huhpp..." i took a deep breath. I felt dizzy and out of breath. I took more deep breaths until I felt my heart beat normal. Trying to squint my eyes I couldn't see properly so I relied on my other senses, it was quiet and smelled like lavender. Under me it was soft and pleasant to the touch. I guess I'm in a room and on a bed. Letting my head sink in the pillow I waited for my vision to recover. After a short while everything around me was clear.

I was in a room that looked to be like eastern middle age mixed with modern touches. the walls were a light purple with golden tints , a light purple desk on the side, a set of couches with a low rectangle table in the right corner near the windows that have the same light purple with golden tints on the drapes , all in all it was a girls room.

I tried to sit up to look around more freely but i soon laid down again, my body felt heavy and my head kept spinning than a sharp pain ran through my head. I started seeing all kinds of images of a cute little girl with black hair and purple eyes. Everything appear to me in a birds eye view, no these images were more like memories.

The girls name was Alida. She was born from nobility in the Burgess household. The Burgess were a ducal family, one of the four Dukes of the Misstryne Empire.

Our female lead was the second born in the Burgess household, she had a 3 year older brother named Aryan.

Everything seem good for the family, the siblings were getting along quite well, the parents also had a good understanding of each other and had a good cooperation, as for love well, it was rare for nobels to marry out of love but there was a chance for it to appear after marriage .

When Aryan was 12 and Alida 9 a new 'sibling' appeared. Her name was Jane. She was a year younger than Alida.

Needless to say turmoil appeared in the household and the peace was finally shattered. The new addition to the family was not quite welcomed by the madam but the siblings just viewed Jane as another playing partner.

Everything seem good with the children, Jane was cute and had a cheerful personality, she has blonde hair like her father and blue eyes like her mother's . The head of the Burgess family, Nicola Burgess , has blonde hair and purple eyes specific to all the Burgess, the madam , Patricia McTyre has black hair and amber eyes , neddles to say the young Aryan was the spitting image of his father blond hair and purple eyes.

The first two years of Jane's coming at the mansion was mostly uneventful, the kids were getting along well , her father loved her, the maids all liked Jane even the madam was getting fonder of her.But at 15 when Aryan went to the Academy slowly problems started to arise. Unbeknownst to all Jane was planning her sisters demise. At first she was acting hesitant and fearful when asked if she played well with her sister, than small accidents started to happen and the blame was put on Alida every time. By the time it was Alida's time to go to the Academy their relationship was quite sour. But the real problems started when it was Jane's turn to enter the Academy. Rumors started to appear about Alida that she was a bad sister that bullies Jane, makes her wash her clothes, do her homework and even some more promiscuous ones. Nobody believed Alida in the end and she was always alone. Even de boy she was in love with rejected her for her sister Jane. By the time she was eighteen and the Academy life was over Alida was but a shell of herself, she was depressed and like a weak little girl, numb to almost everything around her but the real blow for her was when Julian Edelman,the boy she was in love with, asked for her sisters hand in marriage. At that time she felt like she finally died inside. On that day she cried her hearts out inside her room until she fell asleep but the tragic thing was that she actually died in her sleep because of all the bitterness and pain she was in, she was finally free from the cruel world she was in. And this is where our female lead made her entrance. She woke up in the body of Alida, an eighteen years old girl with long black hair , deep purple eyes, fair skin and the body of a goddess. G was starring in the full body mirror and looked at 'herself' admiring this beautiful goddess, long straight legs, small waist and C cups at 170 cm height, her long hair slowly fluttering from the wind entering from the open window, small and perky red nose, full red lips and beautiful purple slanted eyes that were red from all the crying.

"Damn. Just what's with these proportions and this beautiful face?" I was dumbfounded staring in the mirror. I wasn't ugly in my previous life but ...sigh...this is just ridiculous.

"Well...at least I'm a literal goddess."

I made a spin and decided to look for the wardrobe to change de night dress i was in. It didn't took long for me to find it, on of the three doors lead to the bathroom another to the wardrobe and the third one must be the way out of this room. Needles to say the dresses , blouses and pants, overall all the clothes and shoes a girl needs were there. Amazing is the least I could say, i was gobsmacked for a full five minutes before I started searching for something proper to wear.

While skimming trough the clothes and shoes I kept reviewing the memories to absorb as much information as I could.

This was not a normal middle aged world i was in , this was definitely not Earth, at least not the earth I knew....
