Marks Plan

Mark hopped onto his bed and immediately began to communicate with the system.

This time rather than summoning a large amount of clones with limited combat power, Mark summoned 4 clones reducing his combat power to 50.

Feeling the decrease in strength Mark smiled rather than being annoyed, and as expected 4 dense clouds of spiritual energy formed in front of him

Seeing the familiar naked figures in front of him Mark sighed as he thought how long it might take to dress enough clones to use.

But there was nothing he could do about that now.

He quickly threw the recently obtained set of clothing to the third clone who quickly put it on. However due to the height difference between the two people the outfit slightly covered the clones hands and feet.

However Mark didn't care much as such an outfit wasn't rare in the school.

Next Mark sent the second clone back to the library to begin reading up on all the information that it can gather, including anything historical and even the notes on cultivation that were left there by previous students.

Mark currently had two clones left with clothes, these two had obtained the spare outfit from the teachers house. Mark had to leave one behind in the room to send out and defend Sam if necessary.

However, for the remaining dressed clone, Mark decided to send it out of the school grounds. Despite having only been here for a couple of days Mark had easily realised the sheer amount of money he will need to make good use of these clones.

Not to mention clothing or a suitable building for all of them to be trained in secret, he also needed to consider cultivation resources and methods that he could practice.

So he decided to send one clone out solely with the purpose of making money. It wasn't uncommon for students to leave the school to go hunting, after all there were quite a few people who had cultivated one or two strands of spiritual energy and had the ability to face low level beasts.

However as a new student Mark would inevitably draw attention if he were to try to leave before he had officially attended his first class.

So he had originally shelved the idea, but he thought of it again after he had gotten the watch from the bulky man. The watches have very little physical information recorded on them, which allowed them to be easily stolen. However this also helped Mark use the watch to leave the school.

Mark had given out his orders, telling the remaining naked clone to continue to go through various exercises, while he sat down and began to meditate. He had two days left before he officially had to attend classes and he didn't plan to waste them.

****

Two hours passed quickly, and while the other clones were performing regularly, the first clone dressed in a usual school uniform had made its way to the school gate, a conspicuous watch flashing on its wrist.

When the clone got to the gateway he saw two boxes with middle aged uncles manning two scanning machines.

With an occasional beeping sound the electronic doors would open allowing students to pass through.

The clone made his way into the queue and after waiting for a couple of minutes finally reached the scanner. He twisted his wrist so the screen of the watch was facing the large screen.

*BEEP*

No complications, nothing else. The clone simply made his way through the gates and that was it.

This also shows how little they care about the students of the school. Did they come back alive? Great! A potential soldier to join the army. If they didn't? There's 30,000 more who can take their place.

But this also caused the clone to be thankful, after all it couldn't stand up to intense scrutiny.

As the clone walked out of the school the clone looked around and took a minute to admire the scenery. Since Mark had come to this world he hadn't had the chance to actually see the city from a pedestrian's point of view, and the clone was the same.

The streets were packed full with people dressed in various outfits, some were dressed in black robes covering their figures and various masks while others boldly showed their faces with flashy clothes. However there was also the complete opposite.

The majority of people on the street looked similar to the students inside the school, if not worse. They wore coarse clothes with years of wear and tear clear on the sides, holding various tools clearly used for menial tasks.

This is the only way for weak people to survive in this world.

As for the many people wearing masks, there was a simple reason for this as well. Various fights would break out for rare cultivation resources and even small things like food.

Many warriors or even ordinary people wanting to go hunting would wear masks to cover their face to prevent people from easily realising their identity and coming for their possessions in the future.

Mark was once again thankful for this as it would make it easy for him to make use of various clones by covering their face and body.

After the clone had finished looking around the city he made his way towards the exit of the city, before once again flashing his watch and passing through the exit. His arrival drew zero attention as it was an extremely common scene for students to leave for experience and the clone had long since covered its handsome face with the bushy hair.

The clone finally made its way towards the periphery of the fields surrounding the city. It was a common hunting spot for novices, home to a common creature called the Sparking Rodent and also the clone's first target.
