In Pacific Rim with the Ultimate Tech Resources System

In Pacific Rim with the Ultimate Tech Resources System. *** Dr.Emery, a tech genius and a polymath, suddenly finds himself in a dangerous world, a fictional reality, dominated by Kaiju Monsters. Stemming from a world that was constrained by the damnable laws of physics, how will he manage to survive in a world that didn't follow the norm by outrightly giving zero fuck about something like Square cube laws. Watch him bring his ingenuity to play and with the Ultimate Tech Resources System, he will dominate the Kaijus and Jaegers and eventually, the universe beyond. *** Tags - [MonsterVerse] [Pacific Rim] *** If you wish to support me, check out my Patreon for 15 advanced chapters: Patreon.com/MisterMushroom *** I own only the OCs. Time Skip - 10 Months Later

10 months was just enough time for me to do a lot of things.

From my overall status improvement to my breakthroughs in the Jaeger project, I was all set to tango with the Kaijus.

In the span of 10 months, I had also received both good and trash rewards from the Lottery draws.

The Ultimate Tech Resources System didn't reward me constantly unless I did something revolutionary and worthy of its attention.

I had initially thought that I would be getting free Resources Points here and there.

It seemed my speculations weren't on the right track.

Another let-down had been the cessation of the allocation of free Stat Points.

It looked as if the System was messing around with me.

I didn't feel sad because of it, in fact, it made my mind more dead set on amassing my own power.

To train myself; condition myself until I become a monster.

Free things given to you without any effort applied can't be compared to the hard-earned results of a go-getter and hardworking individual.

Great effort always builds up fortitude; the warrior-like spirit of bulldozing through adversity.

As a scientist, failing has always made me more crazy in a positive way as I would normally try and try again until I finally get it right.

Wasn't the light bulb inventor also the same? 1000 times? 500 times? Or even more?

I had been met by difficulties especially when I was trying to do a neural drift while in solo pilot mode.

The canonical explanation of a neural overload had occurred but it hadn't been as adverse as the effects happening on normal humans.

I was a peak human being and my endurance levels were incomparable to the normal athletic human.

Just a little teeny bit of Eleven-esque nose bleed that could easily be defeated by a tissue paper, had happened to me.

To cater for my ruthless training regimen, I had worked in tandem with Yelena to create an AI simulated battle zone - a separate virtual reality for me to hone my combat experience.

I had created it while using the Xavier Academy's Danger Room as a reference.

So it had all the terrains and environments of adverse conditions, ranging from extreme heat, extreme cold, to stormy conditions.

Due to being blessed by a Photographic memory that had accompanied me from past life, I copied and pasted all the memories I had of all the Kaijus into a memory database.

That included their attributes, strengths, and weaknesses.

One thing that made the AI simulated battle Zone interesting was that I could die in there but not in the real world. That means that my consciousness will just be pulled back to the real world.

It had a close resemblance to the Asura's Aether Orb training but without the temporal flow and soul-related shenanigans.(How I wish had a hyperbolic time chamber)

It also had the capabilities of recording my opponent's fighting scenes so that the AI can simulate them into an opponent for me to fight to the death with.

It hadn't felt good, by the way, that is, constantly dying and then resurrecting back to only die again.

It had been like that during my very first trials.

Due to my initial overconfidence, I had fought three Category III Kaijus all at once.

And... It didn't end well.

I had been brutally disassembled by Knifehead, Acidquill, and Copperhead.

Yeah, I didn't leave anything out when designing these virtual Kaiju constructs, especially their hive mind communication tendencies.

Of course, the material durability in there couldn't be translated to real world designs.

I had a custom line up of the most prolific Jaegers, be it from "Pacific Rim: The Black" or "Pacific Rim Movie duology."

November Ajax, Gipsy Avenger, Atlas Destroyer, Obsidian Fury, and other cool Jaegers that you could think of... they were all in my 'wardrobe.'

In addition to that, I didn't forget to add my own self-made Jaegers.

Back to the virtual world battle training, after suffering constant losses from the triple Kaijus, I finally pulled a reverse card.

They were merely Kaiju assholes and they couldn't triumph over a human's intelligence... and a superior one at that.

I hadn't mastered martial arts for naught so I had butchered them as if it had been my destined role as a Kaiju Slayer.

I slaughtered all up to the final boss - Slattern.

Slattern was a Category V Kaiju, the supposed strongest that the Precursors could create during those final events of the Operation Pitfall.

It didn't matter anyway since I had eventually slaughtered her.

I had repeated the cycle of training until I got bored.

I ultimately knew the real Kaijus would be autonomous and more lethal than the NPCs in the virtual world.

I didn't let complacency get to my head

The wizened white bearded sages of the Immortal Realm taught me well about the immensity of Heaven and Earth. That was me - I didn't discriminate between any fun content to read.

I had a 'little' bit of knowledge from almost all fields of study, even the obscure stuff, like Voodoo.

Currently, I am standing shirtless in my custom made gym room.

In both of my hands were two black dumbbells each weighing 1000 kilograms that I was using to do some 'simple' bicep curls.

With every lift that I took, the muscles on my arms would contract.

Every curve of my muscle looked condensed and packed with immeasurable strength.

My pectoral muscles subtly trembled rhythmically with every shift of my upper torso.

I had a passive expression on my face as I effortlessly dropped the two weights on the floor.

Clang!

The impact force of the kilograms of weight was negated by the super reinforced ceramic floor.

"I have grown stronger," I mumbled while looking at my smooth hands.

"2 tons of weights no longer excite my body." I then absentmindedly gazed at the dumbbells on the clean floor.

There were so many improvements on my physical condition.

"Status."

"Haha, these titles..." I pouted while going to my laboratory.

The Jaeger 'Wardrobe' existed at a deeper level of my base, courtesy of miner bots.

The automatic doors made way for me as I casually entered the lab.

They were integrated with bio-scanners that had all my BioData.

No clone could outwit their security measures.

One of the rewards that I had gotten from the Lottery draw was [Advanced Genetic Engineering], so you can probably guess what I did.

I tinkered with my genes to prevent any unforeseen chances of someone using my genes for nefarious purposes.

I roughly took the white lab coat from the hanger on the wall before putting it on.

Atop my benchwork, was a hanging hologram showing some sort of countdown.

[5 Days Remaining to K-Day]

That was a constant reminder of an inevitable and apocalyptic doom that would sooner hit humanity!
